Review 1：My room was delightful with sea view. I liked the style of the decor particularly the paintings on the stairs. Meals in the restaurant were excellent and beautifully presented and the staff pleasant and helpful. The treatments in the thalassotherapy centre were wonderful and relaxing.

Review 2：Room was tired with old carpet in the rooms; problem with heating with room unbereably hot and not possible to lower it.

Review 20：We loved the convenience of the hotel . A short taxi ride from La Rochelle . Acess to the centre was a short stroll along the sea front to the harbour . It was a stress free break on a lovely island . I used the spa for massage which I highly recommend . We had lunch on our last day and it was superb ! I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break . We stayed 5 days . We had breakfast at one of the lovely harbour side cafés . At 6 50 euros this was very good value . The hotel breakfast at 20 euros was a non starter . The hotel booked our taxi for us and both ways we had charming lady drivers . We were impressed by the standard of the rooms and the cleanliness . All of the facilities were excellent . Lovely hotel pool . Staff were friendly and helpful . Also TV had BBC 1 and BBC2 useful for watching Wimbledon ! My husband accessed the wifi .

We requested more sachets of coffee for our room and were told we had to pay for them. 50 centimes each ----- this was NOT added to our bill but felt that a hotel of this standard should not ask guests to pay for such small items that are normally inclusive in 4/5 star hotels. The bar area really needs to be cleaned, especially the windows and shelves ---- they were covered in flies, dead and alive ----- please note, this is not an attractive place to sit

Liked being provided with thick towelling robes and towels for use around the pool area, that was a big plus. Very good parking facilities Full marks to the ladies who were cleaning the rooms. The Superior room we booked was a basic chalet/cabin style room with no view so we had to pay a lot extra to get a junior suite. Very expensive rates for what you get- costs comparable with a very good hotel in the centre of London or Paris. Had to pay extra for hire of hotel bikes. Nothing comes as complementary. Breakfast also very expensive 20 euro for a basic continental meal and 10 euro extra for 2 eggs on a plate - constituting an American style breakfast - anyone who has been to the states will know that means lashings of coffee, and a huge breakfast selection [should you want to eat it !] It has all the hallmarks of a hotel/location where so many people visit it because it is a nice area - so the hotels do not have to make any effort to attract or maintain their business and can get away with making very little effort. Review 83：We were seeking a three day break with our dog and this hotel suited us perfectly. It has a gorgeous location on the sea front overlooking a sandy beach. We had a garden room overlooking the pool at the back enabling us to have access through the gardens when we wanted to take our dog for a walk. The hotel restaurant was equally well appointed overlooking the sea and the staff were very pleasant ad helpful. The dinner menus change daily and are quite lavish and pricey. Lovely for a couple of days but maybe a bit too much for longer unless you like gourmet eating. But a perfect place!

Review 84：Free wifi but only in the hotel itself, not in your room (if your room is around the pool or garden). One annoyance - no kettle or tea/coffee in the room!!

Review 85：The location is perfect if you want to be right on the coast, sea views, and 5 minute walk to the habour of La Flotte where you will find plenty of restaurants. The rooms are fine, but faded and a bit 70's shabby chic! The beds are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are big with proper modern showers and we have your own patio with a table and chairs. Lots of wardrobe space too. You can control the heating or air con very easily which is a bonus.
