Reviews for Le Neptune
Review 1:Only a small point when compared with all that was good about this hotel, but the bedroom floor needed a proper clean. It made our feet black.
Review 2:Good location. Very adequate facilities. Very helpful staff. Good value.
Review 3:Excellent position. Clean. Good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Parking. Ate in the restaurant every evening. Good, simple French cuisine. Will return.
Review 4:WI-FI is too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cleanliness is ok but, in case of wind, a lot of sand on the balcony and in the room.
Review 5:The structure is typical of seaside zone and the room was pleasant for fresh temperature. A bit limited in facilities but the staff is very attentive to each need: they could provide everything we asked for.
Review 6:Tatty hotel. Our door had been broken into and not repaired properly. Shower room and balcony disappointing. Bar & restaurant closed.
Review 7:Awesome location right on the beach. Only 2 staff but they were fantastic.
Review 8:Charging (quite a lot) for wifi is not really on in this day and age.
Review 9:Excellent location close to a good beach. Rooms/facilities OK. Good breakfast.
Review 10:The cleaning could have been a bit better. Eg towels left for changing weren't changed. Good job we had two sets each!
Review 11:The location and the breakfast which was better than many we have had in France. Not too expensive either.
Review 12:Décor in the room could do with a bit of sprucing up. It is not really for an overnight stay, but for a couple who want to possibly self cater for a week or two. It is more of a self catering room rather than a hotel
Review 13:Close to the beach and the main evening area / restaurants. Breakfast was good and staff we were friendly
Review 14:Very poor isolation : Our neighbors room was connected via a locked door, so we could hear them talk easily Common areas are a bit gloomy No possibilities of an early breakfast Very late check-in (17h-20h) and early check-out (8-10) policies Shower lacked pressure and water wasn't midly warm at best
Review 15:Good location Good value for money Self-catering facilities are convenient Nice balcony Parking right under the hotel
Review 16:The room was not clean and very stinky!! We stayed for 2 nights but we could not used to this terrible smell...Never recommend to anyone, who wants to enjoy holiday feeling.
Review 17:ocean view terrace
Review 18:restaurant claims fresh fish however it was frozen although whole, roasted on a wood fire and good enough. rather boaring tho. rooms are equipted with nice mini kitchen and fridge (whomever stays next enjoy my boden press pot!) however only 2 star because entire hotel is a bit tired. waaaay better than camping not as nice as most hotels. also, floors 1+2 have private balconys but 3rd floor shares one big balcony with all so hope you like your neighboors!
Review 19:this hotel sits directly on the beach where others are across the street. the only 'street' is a small bike/jog/walking path so the hotel actually sits on the beach. good bar service and friendly young staff. not uber professional but enthusiastic. air conditioning works wonderful too.
Review 20:Patio doors broken door locks unable to lock door. Staff said technician will come and never did. Shower head you have to hold in your hand. Dividing door to next guest room in our room.
Review 21:Location is good on the beach and short wall to bars and restruants
Review 22:Amazing sea view from balkony (only if you order room with sea view of course :0) by luck there was a drum festival nearby , fantastic experience , good beach , fine sand and exciting waves . Fresh baked crossiants for breakfast and warm buns . Good access to parking , good value for the money if comparred to the overall prices in the area . Will be back
Review 23:The location with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Walking distance from daily market. The staff was courteous and friendly.
Review 24:situation bruillante
Review 25:Bathroom a bit shabby, but ok. Rest of the room was fine.
Review 26:Super location, worth taking breakfast in the hotel for the location alone.
Review 27:The shower was quite small .
Review 28:The hotel was chosen so we could visit friends in St Pierre. I would say it is cheap and cheerful.
Review 29:Close to bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Large car park next to hotel.
Review 30:noisy plumbing. no shampoo etc.
Review 31:location
Review 32:Kitchen facilities very small. Adequate.
Review 33:Close to beach, close to excellent daily market. Free parking 24/7.A quiet clean resort.
Review 34:Close to the beach. Restaurant: we had a good supper. Easy to reach the motorway.
Review 35:Great Beach location . Great restaurant as neughbour. Good value
Review 36:This hotel is very basic, suitable for people on a tight budget. Its best feature is the position, overlooking the beach and sea.
Review 37:Everything
Review 38:Nothing, we left the morning after we arrived.
Review 39:Bed small and bathroom basic. Could do with updating.
Review 40:Excellent location, a great hotel for a family. Especially useful to have kitchette in room. Balcony small but had lovely view of beach. Easy walk to bars etc
Review 41:Some people may complain on noise (morning garbage, night celebrations when high season). There were lot of mosquitos in mid-September due to weather: so, better to take fumigator with you.
Review 42:The best here is location: just on the beach, however this beach is big: you should walk 100 m to a water (it is not thin stripe lake elsewhere). Our room had back/garden view (not to a beach), therefore it was probably not as noisy as those with front/beach view. Aparthotel is rather basic, but you get enough for money paid: not big room but with normal beds (we had sofa beds in other places - and it was not comfortable to sleep there), a small balcony with a table and pair of chairs; a kitchenette with minimum tableware, MW oven, fridge and 2-plate hob. No dishwasher. Hidden payments - city tax (normal in France), payment for TV (35E weekly), internet - 5E/day or 20E/2 weeks with no interim solution, so we paid 20E for just one week. But - no cleaning fees (you should clean a room yourselves) and other fees (bed linen etc.). So all in all, it is economy-style location, which may ot satisfy you if you expect gorgious, chateau-style accomodation. But cost reflect it all. One more hint - no need to pay for parking, as big public parking is next to hotel (it is for daily local market which is close) and it's empty almost all day (after lunch at least). Very convinient Petit Casino market is just cross the street. Also good basis for exploring surroundings - lke Narbonne-plage, Gruissan (Pierre Richard's vinery Bel Evoque is there), Narbonne, Beziers etc. We liked a lot our trip to Minerve and Safari park in Sigean, as well as walk to local geology mistery lake L'Oeuil doux. At last, but not least - extermely nice and helpful staff (however reception working hours are: 8-12 and 16-20).
Review 43:Parking - having made enquiries about parking earlier in the year beforebooking, advised no need to worry about booking allocated spaces asplenty of space available in adjacent public car park - expressedconcern as arriving peak period, August. On arrival, car park full aswas paid car park, parked elsewhere on streets and moved car to publiccar park early next morning - later to see posters put up advising carsshould be moved by 2.30pm until following afternoon 3.30pm due toanimations - effectively no parking.Television did not work despite asking to be recitified, no feed back and no television during olympics
Review 44:Sea view, proximity to beach and cycle route, also close toshops/restaurants but far enough to be quiet; equipment providedappreciated, eg fridge.
Review 45:Climbing the stairs with cases!
Review 46:Another good stay at Le Neptune, it can't be beaten for location and isa very short stroll away from all of the bars and cafes. Staff were veryfriendly and helpful. Wi Fi was reasonable at 5 euros per day. Nocomplaints whatsoever for the money paid.
Review 47:We did not like the fact that there was NO LIFT and our apartment was on the third floor. Each time we went in we had to negotiate 51 stairs and as we are no longer young people this was quite a problem for us. Other than this we had no complaints.
Review 48:The location was superb right beside the beach. The apartment had everything you needed to cater for yourself or you could eat out if you wanted to as there were restaurants nearby. It was very comfortable and we would recommend it to other people. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful and offered to carry things upstairs for us if we could not manage.
Review 49:The beds in our twin room were not so comportable and a bit too small for tall northern Europeean people.
Review 50:It is just at the beach. They offer breakfast even out-of-season. It is very close to the citiy center and has a supermarket just across the street. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. There is a fridge in the room and you have the possibility to use a little kitchenette. I guess they can be used for an extra charge.
Review 51:Nothing, all good !
Review 52:Great location right next to the beach, staff really friendly and helpful,
Review 53:few services, expensive WiFi
Review 54:location at the beach, free public parking available
Review 55:Location
