Review 3:single room is very small, dated decor, the room was not very clean, there was dirt in the kettle and the shared bathroom could do with a refurbishment
Review 4:people who run this place are lovely breakfast
Review 5:Pillows were a bit hard
Review 6:Room large and clean, bath robes supplied, good free WiFi, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Would definitely stop again.
Review 7:Parking in a side street was a little difficult.
Review 8:The breakfast is excellent, with more than enough to eat. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean, with lots of extras.
Review 9:The friendly staff and very accommodating about breakfast times Delicious Breakfast Comfortable room Very convenient for walking into town Plenty of parking around
Review 10:Shower room was out of action for a couple of days so was locked, would have been useful to have had a notice put up as I was waiting patiently for someone to finish.
Review 11:Wifi signal wasn't that strong in the room.
Review 12:The staff were very warm and friendly, making it the top reason why you should stay in this BnB for that family experience. The beds were clean, breakfast was nice.
Review 13:The house is within 2 yards of the main 'A' road to Hereford and there is no parking at the house, if you are lucky, space is only available down a narrow side road on one side of the road only and at 5 pm when we arrive there was no parking available. I asked the owner if there was parking near by or we would have to cancel and move away altogether. I was then given a space in the dogs outside play pen but the floor needed to be cleaned [there are at least 3 dogs using the area] before it was possible to use the dogs area. Including our selves there was only one other person using the B and B and we all had been asked to complete a 'breakfast choice form' the night before. Sadly not one of us actually got we had ordered but to be fair to the owner she had a lady in the do the cooking and a young girl to serve and clear away. The whole event was a disappointment. At £80 for the night and 2.5% added for the use of a credit card it was a grossly overcharged affair and I could not in honesty recommend the B and B to anyone.
Review 14:the owner was helpful and the room was very comfortable with the addition of a spacious lounge. Plenty of tae/coffee making
Review 15:The hosts, Mike, Hazel and Lynne were extremely lovely, helpful and accommodating! I asked for an evening meal and was delighted with the homemade meat pie and chips and selection of vegetables. I was only here briefly but it felt more like staying with friends than being in a guest house. Highly recommended.
Review 16:Welcoming friendly
Review 17:The staff...I felt one among the family. The food and the care was excellent.
Review 18:Very friendly and helpful and very clean and GREAT Breakfasts -- Group of 6 stayed for 3 nights, and every one very pleased with the establishment .

Review 25:The location The staff The breakfast David Basildon Essex
Review 26:Very creaky single bed!
Review 27:Great breakfast! Very clean and comfortable
Review 28:Very satisfactory; I did not ask for WIFI; assumed there was not any.
Review 29:A pleasant stay in a likable house. Bit dated but that was part of the charm.
Review 30:A bit if a hike from the station, otherwise was great.
Review 31:Nice & comfortable
Review 32:I thought that the parking not good ,but Mike did allow us to park in the neighbours drive, so every thing was ok
Review 33:We liked Mike & Hazel they were very nice & helpful
Review 34:Would prefer end suite but there are 2 bathrooms and a sink in the room so it wasn't a problem.
Review 35:Friendly helpful staff. Gave us a lift into town as it was raining and offered to bring us back. Lovely little place and great breakfast.
Review 36:Very friendly hosts and provided us with an evening meal without booking ahead, with last minute changes. Helped with bags and drying us out as it was really pouring.
Review 37:A bit noisy in the morning with young children.
Review 38:Incredibly helpful staff - going above and beyond the call of duty when I left my debit card at the guest house after checking out. Very well appointed room.
Review 39:My room was road facing and it was a little noisy in the morning, however there are other rooms facing into the garden/side road so will request that next time.
Review 40:Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.
Review 41:My only minor issues was no actual off road parking but was able to find a space in a side road next to guest house
Review 42:It was perfect for my needs Very clean, quiet and friendly staff Excellent breakfast Very good value all round
Review 43:parking on the street was a bit tricky later on at night as not much space nearby
Review 44:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was suitable for my needs. Breakfast was exactly as I asked for and more!
Review 45:We booked the Family room - for the two of us it was huge ... but it hasonly a tiny bathroom. As well it seemed that the room / bathroom hasn't been cleaned for ages. I have no idea how it got such a lot stars / and good recommandations (and it was fare to expensive)
Review 46:Very helpful staff - Breakfast cook to order
Review 47:wifi on my iPad was only possible in my room when I put it on top of the bin, which had to be placed on top of the coffee, placed by the door (room 3 only). A wifi repeater is needed! This was minor & didn't detract from what was an excellent b&b
Review 48:I was there cycling, they made me up a sandwich when I got back in the afternoon to take on the train home with me - brilliant! Cycle friendly, chatty, homely feel. Easy access into town and easy to find
Review 49:Charged my partner breakfast I thought it was included Checked the paperafterwards did not included breakfast this caused a disagreement withpartner My responsibility I did not check first. Felt afterwords wecould have got a hotel for the same price maybe cheaper
Review 50:Very helpful and friendly Took me to the station very early Took £10 offfor my partner to stay Packed me breakfast (continental)
Review 51:I think it would be nicer still if they had a sitting room especially for the guests, but having said that we had a room with a comfortable settee so did not need use of a sitting room.
Review 52:we stayed for three nights in a family room which was beautifuly furnished and comfortable especially the beds. So much choice at breakfast and staff very helpful (carried our heavy cases to our room etc)
Review 53:rooms not being ready,
Review 54:was disappointed that when we arrived the rooms were not ready and then was told that i would be staying at another guest house !
Review 55:Friendly staff who went well out of their way to be helpful. We stayed only one night so cannot expand the comments much except to say that the rooms were very clean and the one we had contained a spacious en-suite. I have marked location as "good" but I am not quite sure what that means.
Review 56:Wifi didn't reach the room I was in. Advertises Sky tv yet has justterrestrial channels and not even freeview channels. My room wasn'tready at 12:00 when check-in is stated as commencing.
Review 57:I thought it was the most charming little place! The staff were very friendly and kind, and my room was clean and wonderfully furnished. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming.... I would definately stay there again!
Review 58:As it is located on a major road the front bedrooms (rooms 3,4,5) are very loud. Also, floors and doors are very squeaky so we could hear all the goings-on of the other guests. We weren't given any sort of welcome orientation by the owner and though it did state in the information that breakfast was served from 7:30am, we were told when we went down that breakfast started at 8am.
Review 59:Rooms were very well presented with lovely in-room tea and coffee and the location was great in terms of walking distance to everything in the city.
Review 60:My room didn't have en suite facilities.
Review 61:The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's clean, fairly central and reasonably priced. They also give you a fantastic packed lunch for a fiver.
