Review 2：Poor value for money more like a B and B than a hotel Property needs a major refurb The fact that they didn't have any extra pieces of toast other than the one piece each offered highlighted the service

Review 23：The staff and owners couldn't have been better. They were friendly, accommodating and really helpful. Not to gush too much, but they were great. We also arrived in time for lunch. We had the roast chicken and it was excellent.

Functions seem to get priority. Poor breakfast if you did not have a cooked breakfast. Only cereal and orange juice. Don't have sausages. Awful pillows.

We were a bitconcerned that we would be cramped, but actually the room was huge andthere was plenty of room. The bathroom was also massiveThe hotel is in a beautiful old house, and has loads of character, and beautiful gardens. The rooms were all very spacious and light. There's a bar and the restaurant where we ate breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was traditional cooked breakfast, or variations thereof, and while it wasn't anything particularly special, it was perfectly fine. They could possibly do with offering a little more choice. The location of this hotel is also beautiful, right in the Brecon Beacons and only 5 miles from Abergavenny. You can do some really nice walks straight from the hotel, and it's a good base for exploring the surrounding area. We only met the staff very briefly, but they seemed friendly and helpful. This hotel was fantastic value for money, and I would definitely recommend it.

Review 79：My visit was the first week back at work in January so things were a bit quiet. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly when I was working from the hotel. The food was very good, both breakfast and evening meal were well prepared. My room was comfortable and clean, great value for money.

Review 85：A very friendly and welcoming hotel. My single room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional and the staff were very attentive. I wish I had booked a longer break.
