Review 1：The cottage. The one we lived in had a smell of damp/dampness. Ourthings still have this smell stuck to them. As we were well in a hurrythe first day of the stay we did not asked to substitute the cottage 89for smth else. So I would not assert this would have been a problem ofall the cottages. As there was no antimosquito netting in the windows,we had to keep them shut. The kitchen is poorly equipped with dishes(places to cook and wash are ok although). We had to manage with whatwas there and what we by chance took on us, but cooking then took moretime it should. They say the dishes are stolen regularly..., Well may bethey can invent something, but they do not bother. The price for rentinga cottage is too high for such facilities and comfort, but no othercamping aroung Lappeenranta (monopoly!), so if I return, I will again goto Huhtiniemi

Review 2：Good location, close enough to the keskusta of Lappeenranta. Location inwoods, near beautiful lake is also to be appreciated. Staff is friendly.Shared bathroom and toilettes are ok. But these are the only things tolike. Everything that goes beyond is feeble.

Review 3：actually staff gave us good information but didnt tell us about the correct bus stop for a ride to the station (3€) which made us wait for half an hour. wifi in common room didnt work properly when a laptop got connected. shed only accessable through grass. hard mattresses.

Review 5：It's not very central, and near to shops. But the lakes are far better than the city center of Lappeenranta!

Review 6：In a quiet position, surrounded by a wonderful lake and a forest. It has kitchen and barbecues, for a very small price in Finland.

Review 7：The wifi wasn't working and the matresses were so thin I had to put two of them on top of eachother to sleep.

Review 9：It is camping, and the best will be stay here in house-on-wheeles car. But I booked a one bed in room. I think, that it is hostel, but it is really camping. It's good as camping: nature, forest, lake, good reception zone. But not good as hostel: no kitchen, no dinner zone and not cheap. And wi-fi not worked on second day.

Review 11：If you like to sleep at night, dont't choose this. The beds were really bad - old poor foam mattress, flat in the middle (back ache guaranteed). The fridge was so noisy (old) that you woke up when it starts running. Also unacceptable noise from the other cottages after 23:00. Low hygiene in lavatory (e.g. no hand soap available) and breakfast was sold for way more than it was worth. Considering previous facts the accomondation was overpriced.

Review 13：You have to take all the dishes with you, as there is nothing on the kitchen itself. Also, it would be nice to have kettle, and maybe even microwave oven inside cottage itself.

Review 14：It's a nice camping, and location not that far from a city center of Lappeenranta and ashore of a lake Saimaa is it's main advantage. You can take the boat and visit nearby island - or more remote islands. They said that camping wasn't properly maintained, but in my case there were no problems neither with cottage, nor related to common facilities. Airport is nearby, but there are only occasional flights from and to it, so the noise is not a problem.

Review 15：The cottages weren't kept in amazing shape considering 50 euros a night. The kitchen facilities didn't provide any equipment to use. Wifi was only available in the office area and restaurant.

Review 16：The location set in a beautiful forest setting right near the lake was wonderful. We stayed in the cute little cottages. The staff were really helpful. Easy to access from city centre with public buses.

Review 17：It was said that check-in is from 15:00 till 18:00 in a booking email. And we were a few minutes late due to a huge line on the Finnish border.So I was afraid to be late.But when we finally arrived the reception was open and working with a lot of tourists standing in a line.It would be great to provide real check-in hours in order to avoid making the camping guests nervous.

Review 19：The free wi-fi connection is only in the reception area (which is fine by me), and there are very few vegetarian options at the on-site cafe (but the city centre nearby and the cooking facilities cover up for that).

Review 20：The location is great - just on the shore of the Saimaa lake, which is accessible from the site. It's peaceful and quiet there (at least it was on Sunday night when I visited), and I've had the dormitory room all to myself.

Review 21：We've stayed 1 night in a house for 4 people (3 adults and 1 dog) - house is clean and frankly speaking we excpected it to be less spacious :) Employees are super nice and helpful, breakfast is fine. Don't forget to bring your own bed clothing and enjoy your stay :)

Review 22：The cottage had an unpleasant odor, so that all our luggage smelled like the cottage when we left. In the east of the lake there is a big factory and in the north are some multi-story buildings which destroys the view. So you can only enjoy the view looking to the west. The bathrooms and kitchen are a little shabby.

Review 23：To stay in a cottage for a few nights is an interesting and finnish authentic experience and a good opportunity for those who do not bring a tent. There is a nice lake at the camping site in which you can go for a swim or paddle on the lake with a boat provided by Huhtiniemi camping.
