Review 1：I disliked the owner/operator smoking in the dining room as he stood behind the bar reading the paper while I was trying to eat breakfast. I thought it was beyond rude, and against the law. I won't go back there again due to that.

Review 2：I love the german shepherd; I love the decor; I love the breakfast; I love the location.

Review 3：Late checkin automatic system was very handy for us. Great decoration, posters and pictures in the rooms and around the hotel. A great fantasy and SF world you normally only see in movies.

Review 4：Most friendly service of BOD airport hotels. Owner/operator always very accommodating, shuttle to airport available on demand. Note reception closes at 20:00 so advise hotel of late arrival and they will send you night entrance code.

Review 5：The bathroom was inadequate, missing some key elements. The bathroom tended to flood. The AC was not working. It was very noisy. No shuttle service to the airport at 7am. Also no staff at 7am to check out. The bar was never open. The hallways were completely dark at night, had to use my trusty iPhone light. Smells like cigarette smoke everywhere.

Review 7：No running hot water be it morning or evening, and did not get even when requested. There are no shops nearby or cafés, that's again a big minus for a solo traveller.

Review 8：If you don't have an early morning flight it's a waste to stay here. Too far from the centre of Botdeaux town. Walking distance from airport though. It's quiet so that's good, but that's about it.

Review 9：My husband did have a hard time getting back into the hotel to get the bag... it was very very early morning and nobody heard the bell but luckily someone was leaving their hotel room & able to let him in! Not really the owner's fault but might want to make a louder bell for early morning unexpected arrivals!

Review 10：The kids (even at ages 10 & 12) found the hotel really cool; friendly reception & free parking & internet; the location was perfect--adjacent to the airport, which helped when I forgot my bag there with our early morning departure & my husband had time to dash back and get it and still make our flight!)

Review 11：Hot water heater broke so 2 days without hot water was tough. Once repaired it only stayed warm for 4-5 minutes. Bed was not comfortable. No basic essentials-kleenex, bath products, hair dryer, or washcloth. I got what I paid for I guess...bare minimum at best.

Review 13：Hot water is only in the early morning. WiFi requires to re-connect every minute. Staff is a bit ignorant - do not expect they will greet you. A host has prevented us from using tea amenities, although did not refuse to provide hot water for a child.

Review 19：We'd run out of phone credit. no buzzer on front door sat waiting over an hour. manager couldnt have cared less. no food or drinks. manager disappeared after booking in. when we discovered we had key to occupied room we had to call out and hunt him down. shuttle bus front seat covered in dog hairs. manager wanted to wait for another guest though we were already late. he did drive just us but no help getting luggage out and expected us to close heavy sliding door. there are loads of other hotels with friendly staff and with shuttle service so try them first.

Review 21：According to the check-in per our confirmation, we could check in any time past 12 pm, however when we arrived at 3:30 pm, we were told we could not enter the unit until after 6 pm which is quite late compared to most hotels.

Review 26：Close from the airport. I arrived very late at night, but everything was well-organised for me to check in so I had no problems to stay in and I could relax after a long tiring journey. Bus stop going to the city centre is right next to the hotel as well so it was very convenient. ; )

Review 27：This hotel is conveniently located near Bordeaux airport. We travelled by bus from Gare Saint Jean & then walked the short 10 minute walk from the airport to the hotel. When we checked out the next morning the owner kindly drove us in the shuttle bus to the airport which was great! The hotel is quirky & a decent place to stay for a night or two.

If I hadn't called beforehand I wouldn't have been able to get the access code and would have been unable to get in to the building. Rooms were a bit on the small side, but somewhat expected given the competitive pricing.

The wi-fi was speedy in my room. The couple who run the hotel were friendly and helpful. There were boiled eggs at breakfast which is a rarity in France!

It was pleasant, not spectacular until we got the bill!, then discovered it was €24 and what was an economical stay turned out to be very costly for a simple unexciting meal.

Key code sent in advance so I could access the hotel very easily despite the fact that my plane was late. Perfect for one night stay. Bus stop to the city centre just opposite the building. The collection of film icons in the lobby is a must see! Very nice and helpful staff.

Review 47：I think the walls and ceiling were made of paper... I could hear very loudly my upstairs neighbor every time he walked in the room! Maybe he was a very fat fellow :) And my next door neighbor snored. I didn't really liked the fact that the WC walls don't go all the way to the ceiling.

Review 49：The separation of the shower and toilet in the room was not so nice. For someone travelling alone that might not be an issue, but if you are sharing a room, it gets pretty embarrassing.

Review 50：Having a hotel room close to the airport is the best decision I have ever made in my life. With the flight at 6 am, the stress of reaching the airport in time was as good as gone. The bed with a hard mattress was very comfortable. The room was small and equipped minimalistically. The decorations of the hotel itself though, amazing :) The collection of comic book characters was mind-blasting!

Review 52：A lobby, sitting room and dining room like a museum to pop culture and flying. You could spend hours looking at the owners collections. The couple who own the hotel are super friendly so you get a potted history and can handle the objects too, if you want to - I did! Super home cooking and a great bar. Review 53：i loved the crazy decor at this place - it let me know the people who ran it had character, and it wasn't going to be a boring sterile hotel experience. the crew there are very friendly and easy going, the wifi connection was great, they drove me to the airport, and breakfast was nice. of course its a small room, and the surrounding area has nothing except the airport - but the bus stop to get to the center of bordeaux is right outside the door, and the journey only takes around 35 minutes.

Review 55：I liked the fact I could just sit in the public room with its quirky decor and have a wonderful Bordeaux wine and chat with the guests while using WiFi on my IPad and watching TV. Perfectly relaxing and comfortable. The evening meal served in the same room was very good. The ride to the airport was appreciated.(no charge) the room was small, but basic, and very clean .

Review 58：very friendly staff, our flight was at merignac 22.05 so we got a night code to the outdoor by email and got in and into our room although there was no staff that late in the evening. the breakfast was nice, including also eggs and cheese and ham. And in the morning we got a lift to the airport! That was superb!

I arrived quite late at night and after making contact with the hotel, they told me how to gain access and left my bill out in my room for me. Great value and couldn't have been closer to the airport!

The decor is great, really does make a nice change from the usual boring hotel style. All in all I couldn,t find any fault with the hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

Review 79：Given a room next to emergency exit to hotel and asked for another room, but priority apparently is given to long-stay customers, and owner assured it will not be noisy. But it turns out this exit is used frequently night and day, also as a night entrance, and when it slams shut, the room door shakes and trembles. No good for light sleepers, and also no good for heavy sleepers I think. Suggestion: 1) Be aware about noise of doors, and change rooms for clients if they are light sleepers and get that room 2) Fix something on the door so it doesn't have to slam shut. Shower handle in room was also broken.

Review 80：Value for money, close to airport, free airport shuttle, close to bus stop that has a bus that takes you directly to downtown Bordeaux.

Review 81：When booking the room I was told that the front desk would close at 10pm and that I would not be able to check in after that time. In reality I could have accessed my room by using the night door code and the key would have been left on my door. The formality of checking could have then occurred the next morning. The gentleman that I talked to prior to my trip did not explain that and I had an anxious drive down to Merignac from Paris worried that I would miss the chance to check in and have to book another hotel for the night. This was an unfortunate oversight that put me under an unnecessary amount of stress during my trip. Other than that, I had a good stay.

Considering the reasonable price, however, and the many other great amenities along with a super staff, I would return even if I weren't traveling alone.

They shuttled me to the airport without even the slightest wait. The location near the airport is convenient and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Although we only booked the one night as we were just passing through. We dicide to book two nights on our return journey.
