Reviews for Hôtel Le Faisan

Review 1:We have stayed here before & were obviously satisfied, or I wouldn't have booked in again. Unfortunately, this time we were allocated a very small room and many of the advertised facilities were not present. No telephone, iron, alarm clock or heater (the radiator had been removed completely!) However, at breakfast, the waiter explained that all heaters had been removed and they had been waiting for three months to receive replacements. As we ate, a van arrived with, as if by magic, new radiators for the rooms! So, forgiven for no heating.

Review 2:Located near centre of town, and free parking for the car outside the hotel. Breakfast was a basic "bread & jam" for 7.50 euros.

Review 3:The staff speaks French only - but they compensate it with a verykind approach. The GPS coordinates point to another end of the street (a 1 kilometer miss, give or take). Not sure who's fault is this. The staff is not there 24h - not sure what happens if you come late. IMHO, the place is overpriced - as everything else in France.

Review 4:The staff was very helpful, desperately trying to climb over thelanguage barrier by being extremely kind - like putting my motorcycleinto a garage, free of charge.

Review 5:We had a very nice room, but on our way out we saw there were a lot of small rooms.

Review 6:We stopped for the night on our way from Paris to Spain. We enjoyed staying in the town one day - the medieval quarter is very nice as is the castle, and the hotel is conveniently located.

Review 7:The room and fittings were very tired including the towels. We were glad that it was just for a night! Could not get the wretched wifi to work.

Review 8:Staff were friendly and fairly helpful. There was hot water. Breakfast was OK but basic and overall the stay was not worth the money we were charged

Review 9:It is not worth to spend 7.50 € for the breakfast there, which is quite spartanic.

Review 10:The rooms are ok and quite, at least the ones towards the inner court. The hotel is easy to find due to its location close to the train station and offers a good value for the money.

Review 11:Restaurant closed, bar closed, breakfast exhorbitantly overpriced and very restricted to a very small glass of juice and one cup of lukewarm coffee, one piece of bread and one croissant - DISGUSTED. Would NEVER recommend

Review 12:Location

Review 13:The staff was very helpful and even though I don't speak French and he didn't speak English he managed to tell me were the free parking is. Location in the middle of the town centre and if traveling by train it would be the perfect hotel!

Review 14:Tiny, impersonal room. Cramped and depressing. Did not have evening meal as couldn't find any information. Breakfast expensive and sparse. Corridoors long and dirty carpet and no clear emergency exit at end of Corridoors. Booking. Com shoulD reconsider posting this hotel.
