Review 1：The room was large, space to read and watch the light change from light to dark. The ladies who run the place where very helpful, informative and interesting highly recommend this place to travellers.
Review 2：Greeted by Martha who made us a nice pot of tea and flapjack on our arrival. Could not have felt more welcome here. Excellent breakfast. Cooked breakfast was excellent and loved the home made granola!

Review 10：The room was perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable. Great tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and the fact that there was water provided was excellent. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were made to feel welcome and that if we needed anything just to ask and it wouldn't be a problem. We can recommend a great stay.
Review 11：Property needs a complete refurbish. Tired and old. Noisy front road. No outside garden to sit in. Small area to one side of property that you could possibly sit in is not clean or cared for.

Review 14：the location is great. hotel was really nice and the management were excellent. great facilities for walkers ie= boot racks etc. if you like a getaway that's quiet and yet lots to do, it is ideal. Breakfast was excellent and lasted us all day!
Review 15：The beam that I finally hit my head on when packing to leave! Maybe a small cushion or two could be tacked along it? Bit tight in the car park - but that can't be helped. Bottom window rattles when open and there's a breeze.

Review 18：Location - Castleton is lovely and there are lots of places to eat and visit within walking distance. Cleanliness - one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Size of room and bed. Powerful shower and a bath for a nice soak after a day's walking. Breakfast - excellently cooked and piping hot and the home made granola is delicious. Martha and Mary were friendly and helpful.

Review 20：Very comfortable, clean and thoughtful touches to room. Unfortunately both of us were suffering from health problems - however Martha and Mary were very kind. Would enjoy this place even more if we had been on 'top form'.
