Review 2：The staff were very nice and the room large with a good size bathroom. The location slightly out of the Centre of town but there is a good bus service which we used.

Review 15：Very hot at night, minimal equipment in kitchen- no corkscrew ( but one was provided when asked), no bread knife, no oven, fridge froze all the food and drink in it! only one loo between 6 meant we had to go down 3 floors to use the public ones at times.

Review 17：We booked the fully furnished apartment. There was no air conditioning . Although the advert says air-conditioned rooms we were informed that this did not relate to the apartment. We had two horrendous hot nights. Three very grumpy children and two miserable parents. The second night we deliberated whether to sleep in the hall way or the lobby as it was so hot. The apartment had hardly any cutlery (2 forks and plastic spoons) - the electric shaver socket was not connected to the wall. An electric socket in our 8 and 9 year old's room had bare wires. Two handles fell off two separate doors. The bath was dirty. It says it sleeps six yet there were only two chairs in the kitchen and in the living room. The ensuite was a sink and a bidet. We had an invasion of ants. It looked as though no one had been in the apartment this year. We couldn't wait to get to our next hotel.

Review 18：The Restaurant was excellent. The staff were very helpful . The staff fixed all the problems in the apartment immediately except for the air conditioning and did not offer to move us.

Review 19：The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not effective. We asked the reception to fix it and it improved slightly but still didn't make the room cold enough. The other room was fine. The pool needed painting and cleaning up a bit.

Review 20：The bathroom was lovely. The room was a good size. The pool and jakuzzi were very enjoyable to swim in. Bus service to town was good. Plenty of lovely places to visit round about. It was great to have a balcony with a nice view over the pool and the mountains.

Review 60：A long stay like our last can work out a little expensive. The bar is not separately staffed and it is sometimes necessary to bother otherwise busy people to get a drink. This did not seem to concern them however.

Review 61：I have come here several times while my daughter has been at the nearby university, so the location is perfect. The welcome, the sunny terrace and the views are also great and we spend a lot of time in the restauarant which seems to get better all the time. Combining the hotel with a residence for older people is an excellent idea both logistically and socially.

Review 68：Layout of apartment was a bit strange. Only one toilet with no sink, looked like a broom cupboard and inner kitchen was a bit dark and claustrophobic. No wardrobes or storage space in two of bedrooms. No kettle! No food service at all available between 2pm and 7pm so they must miss out on selling food during this time. We would probably have had something at this time during the 3 days, but we went elsewhere.

Some guests did the trick of putting their towels out at breakfast and leaving them there all day (hotel staff did remove them at one point). A tiny point - but the terrace in the small apartment would benefit from an external light.

Review 79：The hotel was easy to find and about a 25 minute walk into the centre of Perpignan. Exceptionally clean and all the staff we spoke to were very friendly and spoke perfect English. We had the 3 roomed apartment, which was perfect for our party of 2 adults and 2 grown up children (21 and 17). We also used the little terrace for late night drinks with our friends who were also in the hotel. We will be back in Perpignan next year and will stay here again.

Review 80：Bus services almost essential if going to town for a drink/evening meal. Hotel food was expensive, however the last bus back is 8pm. Horrible smell from bathroom drains, never got rectified. Pricey for what you get.

We only wanted a croissant and a café, which the hotel said was quite OK, we would only be charged for what we ate; however 6€ for a café and a croissant seems a bit excessive. There are no clothes hooks in the bathroom. The hotel is quite a long way from the city centre, where parking is difficult, although there are bus services.

Review 87：It was very clean, comfortable and functional. The bed was 160cms and comfortable, the room was a decent size, well-equipped and quiet. We liked the spaciousness of the lobby with several small access areas. We were able to park only a few metres from the hotel entrance. We had tapas in the restaurant, which were good, if not as good as proper Spanish ones. The service was friendly and efficient.

Review 89：Useful hotel if you are stopping off for a short while during a tripdown to Spain, Otherwise it is near a busy main road with no restaurantsnearby and not really much to do. There is a pool however with small sundeck and small but well kept gardens.

Review 90：My only negative comment would be that the accommodation is for six people but the tables and kitchen equipment were only provided in sets of four. This seems a very common problem at lots of accommodation not just here so not a major problem.

Review 91：We stayed in the apartment and the layout was very good. there was six of us travelling so this set up suited us very well and unusual to find this in a hotel. The hotel overall was very good. The staff all helpful. Food in the restaurant was also to very good standard. The waiters were helpful friendly and made the kids feel welcome. We would stay there again no problem.

The personal in the restaurant had less skills in english but excellent attitude and the food was great! The pool was nice, but even the lower end was 1 meter high. It is nice for children with swimming skills. The room was big enough. Separate toilet and shower. We stayed 6 nights and were very pleased all the time!

Review 98：Avoid this place ! We actually rented an apartment, and the one givento us was the only one in the hotel. The rest was only normal hotelrooms. For the apartment : There is 3 rooms, so a total of 6 personscan sleep but :- only 2 chairs in the sitting room (may be the 4 other persons have to remain standing...!!!!), in our case they sat down on the floor. Kitchen does not have windows... Micro-wave oven was dirty Only 2 chairs in the kitchen as well Very poor wifi connection etc... We were coming back from holiday in Spain where for less than 150 euros we could have wonderful apartments fully-equiped, well located in Madrid and Barcelona, so we were very disapointed by the low level provided in this hotel in Perpignan where we had to pay 180 euros for this so-called serviced-flat in the suburbs of a small french city. We will never go there again. May be the rooms are better, but avoid the apartment.

Review 100：We liked everything about Mas Des Arcades as it gave excellent service and facilities without being fussy. It was let down by poor pool maintenance, particularly the jacuzzi. After speaking with reception staff the maintenance crew (external service) appeared to inspect and take samples - we hope it has now been brought back up to standard. We used the pool as it appeared reasonably clean - it was cold but refreshing in the hot weather.

Review 101：We stayed for three nights. The staff were helpful friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean and well serviced, comfortable beds, good air conditioning and bathing facilities. Spacious communal areas and dining areas. Breakfast was an optional meal. Simple selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, breads and cakes. Hot drinks available all day from the machine. Evening dining at the restaurant gave choices from snacks, set menus and a la carte. Tasty food well presented and served, if a little pricy. Plenty of eating options just outside from the hotel though. The location was perfect to us as it was easy to find when arriving by car with quick access to the main road networks. The town centre can be accessed on foot or by a short bus ride. The grounds were carefully screened to give privacy and make the best of the views across to the Pyrenees.

Review 103：This hotel is situated on the Southern out-skirts of Perpignan. We foundit difficult to find from the Auto-route travelling south even with"Tom, Tom". The buiding itself is a well designed, reasonably attractivelooking block set around a swimming pool and surrounding terraces and asmall garden It is built on a slight rise, and commands views over thesuburbs. The night we stayed the weather was not good enough to use thepool. We also found the staff a bit off-hand. However, the facilities ofthe hotel are very good, and the room was spacious, well appointed andequipped, and very comfortable. The chef was obviously having a bad day,however! Our dinner was highly disappointing, and very pricey for whatwe received.How can any French restaurant ruin magret de canard, forgoodness sake?! But they did! This was probably just a one-off, however.The restaurant boasts a high reputation normally.
