Review 1:lighting system too complicated in room Whats wrong with an on/off switch!! bathroom floor tiled, lovely tiles, but very cold when you got out of bath... needs underfloor heating

Review 3:Fantastic room, even with two dogs. Was looked after very well by the staff with an exceptional evening meal in the restaurant. I love a good hearty Breakfast to set me up for a day walking, this certainly didn't disappoint. Would highly recommend and will definitely be revisiting in the future.

Review 9:The only negative we could come up with was the parking. We weren't given instruction on where to park and as it was dark when we arrived and it was difficult to see.
Review 10:The room for the B&B was comfortable, warm and clean. A couple of complimentary drinks in mini bar was a lovely touch. Helpful, friendly staff!!
Review 11:No food available in The Saddle Room or the local Forresters pub on a Sunday evening, but not the end of the world as there was a few good alternatives in Middleham not too far away.

Review 14:Beautiful place, beautiful cottage. Will be back for sure. The forbidden corner right on the doorstep, beautifuk walks and things to see and do. The cottage was 5* and the heated flooring was such a treat :0)

Review 17:The safety light in our bedroom was far too bright. It was like a spot light onto the bed and I could not sleep well because of it. I did I inform the staff in the morning so hope that they will have dimmed the light by now.

Review 21:Staff were so helpful and welcoming. We were only there for one night but it was a superb location for exploring the dales. We didn't eat in the restaurant but went in for a nightcap and wished we had, food looked very good indeed and there were a lot of happy diners. You can either self-cater or have all your meals in the restaurant. We will return for a longer visit next time.

Review 23:Stayed in a beautifully presented and very well equipped, one bedroom cottage named Coverdale. Living room, kitchen, toilet downstairs with access to both front and back of cottage. Upstairs, spacious bedroom, bathroom and landing area. Booked dinner and ate in The Saddle Room. A unique dining experience and and the food was excellent. Would love to return for a longer visit!

Review 29:We are two families with young children and babies stayed at Littledon cottage, and every one enjoyed it! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The facilities are well looked after. Great location too! Right next to The Forbidden Corner. We all have had a fantastic time. Definitely will go back again and stay longer.
