Review 1：Google maps got us lost in old section of Valence where it said the hotel was.

Review 2：The excellent reception from the guy who greeted us at the front desk who fortunately for us spoke perfect English. Nothing was any trouble for him.

Review 3：Breakfast staff unattentive and lazy. Hotel not within walking distance from city center. Not possible to book taxi at a pre-specified time six hours in advance (maybe not the hotel's fault, though). Not a 4-star hotel by international standards.

Review 53：Noise from other rooms - most importantly the slamming of other room doors was frequent and LOUD (it seemed we were next to a large family with several rooms and people moving constantly between the rooms - so perhaps this was exceptionally frequent door banging). It would be difficult to sleep through your neighbor coming or going. Plastic cover on mattress made it quite warm to sleep on.

The ir own restaurant was closed on a Sunday night but the desk staff were very helpful suggesting other local eateries. The bed was comfortable and room very quiet, assuring a good sleep. Good breakfast also included.

Review 81：The hotel is a hidden gem with its terraces overlooking a garden andswimming pool, and its rooms all sheltered from a busy highway. And thegastronomy matches the finest dining we have had at expensive châteauxin the Loire. Put simply, we ate one of the finest meals we have everhad in years of travel in France, and understand very well why localsshow up with hotel guests to dine at mid-week. You cannot find bettercuisine at twice the price, and all of this at a hotel in what isotherwise a very ordinary American hotel chain.

The staff were friendly andwelcoming. The room was comfortable, buffet breakfast was plain buttasty - we enjoyed the fresh bread and red berry juice. Plus freeparking in a spacious car park with security gate!
