Reviews for Résidence Le Couarôge
Review 1:If you stay there don't forget bathroom soap, dish soap, your own towels, dish towels and bed sheets. These were not provided. *Bed sheets were provided for a cost but the sheets we were given did not fit the bed. I'm sure it was a mistake and the staff was very friendly so we could have asked for different sheets but we just lived with it. No problem. But I did not like having to "rent" bed sheets and bath towels.
Review 2:The 6 person apartment was fantastic. Newly updated with the log cabin feel. We couldn't have asked for more cozier locations. Highly recommend it.
Review 3:Nothing bad to say.
Review 4:Fabulous location great facilities excellent value for money trip to Munster was well worth the journey the outdoor piscine was amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly will definitely return.
Review 5:It is located next to a rather busy road, so it can be noisy.
Review 6:Decent lodging for a fair price. Nothing spectacular, yet nice and comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Surrounding is really beautiful. Great trails for hiking and cycling in the summer. Several lakes suitable for swimming, scuba and the other water sports in the walking distance.
Review 7:Nothing. It was lovely.
Review 8:The location is superb and absolutely beautiful. We imagine it must be gorgeous in winter but it was green and lush in summer. There were shops nearby and loads of places to hike and explore. Our host Fabienne was lovely and took lots of time to help us plan our walks and outings. We will definitely return with friends one day.
Review 9:Good location, short drive to town but in the countryside so very relaxing. Great for walking and cycling. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we'll be back for a longer stay
Review 10:Apartment (5 pers with balcony) was a bit dissapointing: not very friendly and comfortable. Kitchen is small and poorly equipped.
Review 11:Very beautiful environment, good facilities around the apartment, like tennis court, tennis table, BBQ & picnic site.
Review 12:No Internet in the room.
Review 13:Staff was really great. We booked a studio but when we got there, we were upgraded to a new apartment. The lady was present all the time, happy to answer the questions and give advices.
Review 14:Nothing
Review 15:Everything
Review 16:Very nice modern renovated room. Excellent value for money. Staff is very helpfull.
Review 17:no wifi
Review 18:Bed was very hard and skewed towards the middle. The chalets are clearly nicer then the appartments.
Review 19:Location, balcony
Review 20:Rented a studio, got a chalet. A good fireplace and lots of wood to get from the forest, awesome! HDMI cable from your laptop to the sony bravia tv makes sure for some cozy movie time.
Review 21:there is nothing negative to report!
Review 22:Ideal location for skiing at the ski resort La Bresse-Hohneck. Very nicely renovated apartment, all in wood. Very friendly staff.
Review 23:-breakfast, it's a joke! one advice: do not take it! -to be clear, you eat your breakfast in the room. -not easy to dry your clothes. -the pictures do not correspond with reality! -it is far from the city, though close to the slopes. -do not try to light the fire in the fireplace
Review 24:not much! rooms rather modest.
Review 25:The fireplaces had some problem, since when we started the fire the smoke just took over our appartement. It was not only our fireplace since the exact same thing happened to our neighbours the day after, the fire alarm even went on. Wifi should be provided all over the place and not only at a designated room, though for me this wasn't a problem - I wasn't there to be connected to the online world!
Review 26:The staff was extremely helpful and friendly The appartements are spacious, comfortable, the kitchen is well equiped with anything you might need during your stay - kitchen utensiles, pots, oven, fridge, even different types of glasses (water, wine) and plates etc etc etc Big window with a lot of light, pretty view of the surrounding mountains. Well heated
Review 27:Beds are small, I'm 1.78 and my feet were hanging from the bed. Second time that we got an appartment were the previous guests were ill in the bedroom. Place was not so clean because you can clean it yourself or pay 40euros and that was not mentioned when I booked the place. Hat it when the french doest even try to speak english.
Review 28:Owners were friendly
Review 29:Beautiful location in the heart of the Vosges mountains. We stayed in the cabin "Le Lonier" which was superbly appointed, spacious and comfortable. Although principally a winter sports location, La Bresse is also an ideal location for local mountain walks and a good base to explore the surrounding Alsace & Lorraine regions. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
Review 30:there is nothing at all that I didn't like that could have been dealt with by the team at Le Couaroge
Review 31:To start with the place looked amazing. It really felt liked it was looked after and that people cared. The staff was very friendly going above and beyond the call of duty, and they felt really genuine and helpful. I was staying in the studio La Fouine and although it was freezing outside it never felt cold inside. I think there was some underfloor heating. Staying at Le Couaroge was ideal to go and ski at the ski resort of La Bresse.
Review 32:Fireplace was nice, but the chimney didn't work good enough. So even with the very nice dry wood, there was still smoke in the room. And the bath is very nice, just to bad you couldn't take a shower. Also bad wifi, but that was nice, because a holiday without wifi is a real holiday... But I'm still going back next year!
Review 33:Friendly. They gave us an apartment just because we asked for a double bed which they didn't have in the studio. (and they had en apartment available of course). Close to la bresse hohneck if you have a car, closer than the town 'la Bresse' itself. Nice to have a microwave, oven, ...
Review 34:Very friendly reception and excellent recommendations for hiking and picnics. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed.
Review 35:couldn't get wifi in the room, boule park need tidying up
Review 36:location, service, room, parking
Review 37:Chalets were very pretty; location of chalets was wonderful.
