Review 1：One morning the house keeping said they would be back in half an hour to clean the room, but the room was not cleaned that day.

Review 2：The hotel is located quite near to the city center. The stay was incredibly cheap and included the use of the spa, which was not very large but sufficed quite nice. The breakfast was okay, but the breakfast hours were quite limited. Free parking included also.

Review 3：I had to use the aircon in order to get fresh air in the room.Would be so much better and defenetly more green way just to be able to open the window once in a while.

There should be a warning notification, that one of the saunas in the women's sector is shared with men and men can enter it from another side! But there only was a request not to wear swimming suit in the sauna. That's weird.

Review 7：We arrived before the check-in time and our room wasn't ready, and we had very little time to get ready for a wedding. The staff found us another room right away, for which we were extremely grateful.

Review 8：Room was not really well cleaned or someone slept there after cleaning. There were hairs on the pillow and bed. one Spa Jacuzzi was not working and other one had some strange controls. All in all not very pleasant. surface around pools was very slippery, did not feel safe walking there.

Review 10：In a very good position of city, with everything you need in about 5 minutes by feet. Perfect service, good cleaning, good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helped me with everything I asked (information, cruise trips, restaurants). If you want to spend a good holiday in Lappe this is your hotel (they have free wifi, free sauna, steam bath, swimming pools and free parking).

If you are looking for a sign that says 'Lappeenranta Spa', you will be looking for a long time - the actual name of this place is 'Lappeenrannan Kylpula'. The hotel is two parts, the older building by the lake and the new building across the road - the reception is in the newer building. The saying 'nothing to write home about' sums up this hotel. Average but nothing special.

Review 16：Some of the staff need to learn how to smile! The furnishings in the room and decor need updating-feels like walking back into the 70's when you enter your room.

Review 18：The hotel is situated in one of the nicest places of Lapeenranta and even more. You can walk by the lake promenade, take a glass of wine in one of the floating caffees around or even take a boat trip. Nice view from the old building gives you the whole picture of yachts, fountain and the lake's bay. The old building is a historic one, built in the beginning of 19th century. It has been very nicely rennovated and repaired but you still feel the touch of history and old fashioned luxury during the stay. The rooms are compact in a way it was made in old times but it is even more homy and cosy. Breakfast are nice and they are made in a restaurant building by the lake. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful and consists of very nice girls.

Review 19：We had very dirty room! There were a lot of dust on the floor, window-sill and radiator. We fond used razor in the bathroom! We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and our room WASN'T made up absolutely despite we left appropriate tag on the door-handle!!! Without a doubt that was our first and the last time there.

Review 22：Nice and spacious room tastefully decorated. The hotel is located on the lake shore and at the center of the town very close to the fortress, ships and shopping area. Good adjusting parking lot - almost ideal for car travellers. Friendly smiling recepcionists, one of them is fluent in Russian.

Review 23：Rooms were dark and looked like they were furnished in the 70s. Wifi didn't work but they did provide me with an ethernet cable which worked. Tried to use the pool and there was 20 older women having a workout class (which I wasn't told about). Reception wasn't very friendly and getting help from them was like pulling teeth.

It is very inconvenient to get access to the aqua zone if you stay in Old Hotel. the aqua zone itself is very small and old (two swimming pools around 15-20 meters length and one jakuzzi). Jakuzzi was broken. Major part of hydromassage features in the swimming pools didn't work either. Restaurant closes at 3 pm, so there is no chance to have dinner right in the hotel.

Review 82：We stayed in Old building (the one opposite the lake) with lake view rooms. Nice cosy room, very clean and pleasant bathroom, enough towels, good fan. Breakfast was also fine. In general, I can say that the hotel is fine, but it is definitely not for staying for aqua facilities - just nice hotel.

Review 93：On the arrival at the hotel, we waited more than half an hour, when the room will be cleaned. However, the room was forgotten to be cleaned! Linen and robes have not been changed. We discovered this when going to go to the spa. At our request, the room was cleaned. But, the trash has not been thrown! At the same time, some personal things were thrown! I'm tired to go on the reception and asked to put all in order. A very unpleasant situation, which spoiled all the impressions of the hotel.

Review 96：The hotel is extremely well located. Our room was really clean, very well maintained and well equipped. Free bicycle rent for two hours is a perfect condition to spend some time around Saimaa lake or in the fortress.

Review 97：Душно.Окна не открываются, а жаль. Очень хотелось подышать свежим финским воздухом. Номера для доп.кровати явно маловаты. Троим было тесно. Завтрак хуже, чем в других финских отелях. Мы жили в корпусе на берегу озера, а бассейн - в другом корпусе, не очень удобно.

Review 113：The hotel occupies two separate buildings on both sides of the street, with the rooms in one building and the restaurant in the other. That's uncomfortable, especially when a relaxed guest after water massage and sauna needs something to eat and drink.

Review 114：Calm and cosy hotel. Located just in front of the "bay" of Lappeenranta; local fortress can be seen from some rooms. Spa is not bad, not too exciting but still able to make you relaxed.

Review 115：We were told that they did not have a room for us when we arrived despite the fact that we had phoned up previously to check that our 4 night booking was confirmed. We believe that we were ousted in favour of a group. We complained and they gave us a room for 2 nights only, not the 4 we had originally booked. We found the reception staff on arrival extremely unhelpful and rather brusque; it was an unpleasant experience. Overall we therefore would not recommend this hotel as they do not seem to honour bookings.
