Review 1：We were so happy that we decided to stay in Villefranche instead of Nice. Welcome Hotel is a perfect choice to get away from the busy pace of Nice but still be very convenient. Villefranche had lots of lovely restaurants and the water was nice to walk along in the evenings. We loved the hotel, location and staff. Julien was very welcoming and helpful for planning our visit.

Review 8：Very expensive for what is offered however i would stay there again as the location is exceptional! Lunch on offer was terrible! Breakfast was 17.50 which is the most expensive i encountered on the Riviera and very little on offer for that price!!!

Review 10：We booked a standard room, which was on the west end of the hotel. We did still have a partial bay view from our balcony, which was lovely. However the western exposure of the balcony, as well as the bathroom, made for a very warm room, even with the air conditioning set to a cool temperature. It was warm even at night, so perhaps the air conditioning system is just a bit weak. I would recommend avoiding the west end rooms, and if we are lucky enough to return I would definitely spend a bit more for an upgrade to a room with a different orientation. Still enjoyed this hotel immensely!
Review 11：As noted here by just about everyone, the staff at this hotel could not be friendlier or more helpful. In spite of the never-ending stream of guests, the front desk staff spoke to us by name every time we passed. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable, though small. However, it was one of the standard rooms, and who spends time in their room when visiting the Cote d'Azur anyway? Perfect location; gracious staff; sparkling clean rooms!

Review 27：The room was dirty with a stained and ripped carpet. The cushions on the bed were dirty. the walls were stained and had food on them. the bathroom had dusty corners and a tile hanging from the wall. The builders in the next room were noisy.

Review 39：This hotel is in a excellent location in a small fishing village just outside Nice. Rooms are European size (generally small) but are comfortable and look over the sea which is immediately in front of the hotel. This is our second visit to this hotel and will return as this is a place you can do a lot by visiting nearby attractions or very little with a swimming beach within 200- 300 meters walk along the road that lines the foreshore. Very picturesque and beautiful part of France.
Review 40：a swimming pol with surrounding area would have been the icing on the cake as beach a fair walk away with no shade { i have a dodgy hip which limits the amount of walking that i can achieve.

You cannot beat the location and views from the sea front rooms. The wine from the bar is also reasonably priced and delicious.

Review 57：Everything! Although we didn't use their restaurant. Too many other options to try! Cosmos Cafe was a good breakfast find & we enjoyed great dinners at Caravelle & L'Aparte in the small lane beside the hotel. Our comfort room afforded delightful views over the waterfront.
Review 58：Our room had very low ceilings, and we had to constantly bend over to duck down, otherwise we would hit our heads on the doorways to the bathroom and toillete room (separate rooms). Shower was difficult to enter; older people would have difficulty with this.
