Reviews for La Colline de Vence

Review 1:Fantastic place! Perfect position far from the traffic, cosy romantic room and beautiful garden and view. The owner Kristin is very kind and take care of the guests!!

Review 2:The hosts went out of their way to make our stay a most memorable experience. The setting is beautiful and private and has incredible views from every window.

Review 3:Everything. The location is fabulous and even though I rated it as a 'good' this is simply because it was up the side of a hill and for those a little less fit, this would have been an issue. Having said that the plus side is that the views are fantastic and provided you are prepared to take a taxi back home, the 20 min walk down the hill is not too bad. The property itself is a typical Provencal mas and Kristen and her family could not be nicer - you get the sense that they are very happy to help you out. The whole place is gorgeous and as a friend of ours said, 'this is like no B&B that I've ever been to' so think boutique hotel rather than B&B. Would we go back - yes, like a shot.

Review 4:Because its quite high you might have more rain than the hotels in vence or st paul because of the mountains.

Review 5:Its a beautiful place up on the hill with view on the sea and saint paul. Breakfast at the Pool under the Palmtree. Many Places where you can sit and relax, read a book or for sunbathing. The owner is extremely helpful and aware of everything you might need. very quiet without traffic . Although you are in middle of green the Nizza airport is just 35 minutes away.

Review 6:This is not a criticism but be aware the last part of the drive is narrow and windy in spots but it’s certainly worth the drive.

Review 7:We stayed 6 nights at La Colline de Vence B&B and it was stunning, just 20 km drive from Nice airport but a million miles from the chaos of the coast. This B&B deserves the reviews it is receiving for both quality and care. The rooms are beautiful with stunning views back to the coast and all with their own little outside garden areas. We had breakfast by the pool on warm days and in the lovely breakfast room on cool days. Kristin is a charming host and Severine spoilt us with breakfast and keeping our room spotless. Dreamy bed and great Wi-Fi We would recommend Colline de Vence without hesitation and will certainly return.

Review 8:Wifi was sometimes slow and spotty in our particular room.

Review 9:Location high up in the hills with great views and peaceful setting. Comfy room. Great service.

Review 10:The heating system does not work properly, therefore was quite coldover night

Review 11:The view around the hills, room facilities, breakfast on the open airterrasse, good advices from Mrs. Kristin

Review 12:Our wifi was playing up a little bit. But who goes to a place like this for the wifi!!!

Review 13:The location is beautiful and relaxing. Kristin and the family are so friendly and helpful.

Review 14:Bathrooms were clean but grout is rather stained. Booking confirmation clearly confirms visa and mastercard available however it was not when it came to payment - cash was required. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion not supplied which was dissapointing. Just 1sachet per person of shower gel/shampoo to last for 2 nights.

Review 15:The situation is very special. We had lots of private garden space to meet up with our family. Wi fi was excellent.

Review 16:Internet connection a bit weak in our room, but it worked just fine

Review 17:Wonderful kind owner, spotless clean, new facilities and rich breakfast. Stayed just for one night and wished we would have stayed more.

Review 18:what a wonderful place. Stunning location, lovely swimming pool surrounded by delightful gardens. The breakfasts were delicious served in the open air by the pool. There was a very warm welcome.

Review 19:Nothing

Review 20:What's not to like. The family is great and their attention to detail is the best. Felt like I was at a great friends vacation home with beautiful accommodations, view , environment, and everything a couple would want including guests who were very enjoyable to share conversations and local experiences with. Met several who were making their second and third visits.
