Reviews for L'Arrayade
Review 1:Staff only there for a short time. No English and despite the location no Spanish. Made if difficult especially as at first they indicated that they didn´t recognise the booking.
Review 2:Set in beautiful parkland, easy parking. Probably as cheap as it gets in France. Generous Breakfast.
Review 3:Poor access for pedestrians at night as gate on Francis Planté was sometimes locked, not enough bedside lights, would have been nice to have access to making hot drinks during the day. But, the things we didn't like we're very minor and were far exceeded by what we did like. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Review 4:Architecture, friendly staff, surrounded by trees and owls, good breakfast, hearing choir rehearse, drinking hot chocolate in foyer.
Review 5:The shower unit, although a good shower was in the bedroom and not in a seperate room.
Review 6:It was comfortable room with shower and toilet, it was quiet, a good breakfast was served, ideal place for a one/two night stop over.
Review 7:The individual beds were slightly small but since they were used by children, in fact, they fit well to their size.
Review 8:The staff was excellent as well as the location because it is a quiet place ideal for rest after a long drive or a busy day. The room and toilet was very clean. The room had a quality TV set and good mattresses on the beds. On the outside there are enough parking lots close to the hotel entrance and in a very green and inviting environment.
Review 9:My Sat Nav Did not Like your post code And repetedly took us to the centre of DAX. It also did not recognise your Road (Rue) name. It took an hour to findL"Arrayade, in the dark. Your coffee machine was broken, we were refused coffee at breakfast.
Review 10:Value for money
Review 11:Very convenient as I had with me a glider in a 9 metre trailer and parking was excellent. Accomodation basic but adequate.

Review 19:Nothing
Review 20:Nothing.
Review 21:Spotlessly clean, situated in the middle of a huge, beautiful park with big old trees, fields, rabbits, absolutely quiet and peaceful, huge window in room, free WiFi, a desk in the room for working. Extraordinary value for money.
Review 22:This room (203) had a waterpipe making noise when somebody was using hot water. Pipe was "isolated" so it was a known problem, but not solved. Madras was from poor quality comparer to other rooms
Review 23:As a stopover to Spain, this is o good alternative
Review 24:It's a good 25 minute (2km) walk into the centre.
Review 25:The single room, though simple, was cheap at festival time, surprisingly spacious and very bright. Shared showers are good and hot. Overlooked a quiet park. Totally silent at night and peaceful by day, so a good base for resting after late nights during the Toros y Salsa festival.Easy free parking right outside.
Review 26:The breakfast was too basic (cofee. cocoa, bread. cereal and not much more). Far away from the city center & from any restaurant. Use a car is mandatory.
Review 27:Good enough for a cheap hotel. Clean rooms and the bed was better than expected. The have 2 basics vending machines. No problems parking the car
Review 28:Room was quite simple & could have been larger but overall value formoney & would stay here again.
Review 29:Large bathroom very clean excellent evening meal only 12 Euros 3 coursewith karafe of red wine. Staff were excellent in lovely quiet locationset in park - only 20 mins walk to village centre with bars &restaurants.
Review 30:Dissapointed about :-The staff not really knowing how to help us get to the city centre apart from providing a map. we were meant to collect a rental car from the city centre and wanted to know if we had the correct address/had a bus nearby to catch to the hotel. One of the anwers we got was "even we dont know as we dont take the bus round here!" In the end, my husband and i followed our map and walked about 45 minutes into the city centre to get our car. I work in the same industry in London and one thing we teach our team is to always go the extra mile to assist guests with their queries as they are new to the city. -Our second dissapointment was the breakfast which we added to our booking (5euros per person per night which totalled an extra 40 euros for the 4 nights booked) The first morning ,we were late to the breakfast room and got there 10 minutes before the end of breakfast time. Nobody fromt he hotel acknowledged us and there was literally just a small piece of bread left to eat between my husband and i ,and the coffees/teas. We brushed this one off thinking maybe we were just too late that morning. The second morning we arrived in plenty of time and to our amazement there was still just the basket (with more bread this time),a fruit basket, some yoghurt and the coffees/teas. This is certainly no 5 euros breakfast value. The irony is the hotel lobby has a vending machine which sells sandwiches /breakfast cakes and coffees which add up to less than 5 euros. My husband and i went on to cancell breakfast for out last 2 nights at the hotel. We recommended the hotel to another 4 people who stayed 2 nights with us last august 9th/10th and they did not add the breakfast to their bookings luckily as we would have felt bad for them.
Review 31:Quiet ,relaxed atmosphere of hotel and close to city centre withoutbeing too close to the busy area. Lovely green area around thehotel too.
Review 32:there are no tv. It is necessary to ask for the wifi code and user every 4 or 8 hours and you only can use it for one device.
