Review 1：I found the heating/ air con system difficult. It was cold enough to need the heat on, and it was very efficient in that it heated the room up quickly, but seemed to spread dust around as well as heat. It made me cough.

Review 4：Location was excellent. Near bus to Monaco and Nice. Easy walk to shops, restaurants. 20 min walk to train station. Great view from terrace. Nice to have lounge chairs, table on our deck. One of the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast room with good food, view and friendly hostess.

Review 5：Room was a bit small. Shower didn't work well.Shower head too high and water ran out all over the bathroom floor. Hotel was in good location but a lot of steps/ hill up to it. Bar was closed the whole time we were there. Breakfast is far too expensive!

Review 7：A little bit far from the train station. The hotel is on the mountain, close to the old town. So it has good view and it's convient to have nice meal in old town. Not a bad place except the transportation. (Actually there is a bus...)

Review 11：Fantastic location. Near bus stops although we did lots of walking along the coast as far as Cap Ferrat. We had an extra bonus of a hot tub which was amazing to sit in and enjoy the beautiful view. The lady who did the breakfast was very friendly and breakfast was excellent.

Review 12：Stayed here 20 years ago, and it hasn't been refurbished since. It is tired. The bathroom tiles are cracked, the toilet ran, the outside shutters are broken and the staff was either great (man) or unhelpful .

Review 15：Our room had a big terrace with an amazing view. The breakfast had a huge selection and the lady who ran the breakfast room was really friendly. Amazing views of the bay again in from the breakfast room. Nice sized clean room. The pool was nice and great for the kids. Location was good. Some restaurants, shops and a playground 5 mins walk away, harbour / main stretch of restaurants 10 mins walk away.

Review 18：The views from balcony on seaside rooms are awesome. Okay, so the rooms are quite basic, on the small side, but clean and simple, but if you opt for a seaside room you are met with a spectacular view over terracotta rooftops to the expansive port and mediteranean beyond.

Review 22：The balcony is reached by a couple of steps up through the french doors which I didn't like. The bathroom was tiny and not planned out very well at all, the shower would saturate the bathroom floor as the door, as well as not being high enough wasn't sealed. The toilet seat was loose on one side, so you had a slippery hazardous floor and a toilet seat that wasn't secure. It was totally impractical! If we were to stay in Villefranche again, we would not use this hotel. Maybe the larger rooms with a terrace are better?

Review 35：My friend and I stayed at La Flore in July 2015 We had booked well in advance for a twin room through your website. When we arrived there was no twin room so we were offered a attic room - not nice shower had fallen off the wall not very clean moldy wall paper huge stairs to climb with luggage opening window onto roof. We paid over $300.00 New Zealand dollars worst hotel of our stay for a room on our holiday in Europe. Almost burnt my hand from the heat of the hairdryer. Had a nice pool and the hotel had nice views just a very bad room for a couple of nights. They offered us one mornings breakfast and said that it was rated as a 3 star. We stayed in other 3 star hotels and they were amazing for the price we paid .

Review 38：Breakfast expensive so we went elsewhere each morning. Need cameras in parking lot, our car was side-swiped sometime during the two day stay. We never moved it once we arrived until we checked out, but no one saw anything, so no witnesses. Not much help from front desk and had to drive into Nice to report at the airport. Not the hotels fault, but a camera would have been nice to have a record of the incident. Even so, would stay here again.

Review 43：The hotel description states that there is a bar but there isn't. As we had a very early start the next morning we wanted to have a quiet drink at the hotel but this was not possible. Triple room was shabby. Shower was over the bath and sloped ceiling meant you couldn't stand to shower! Very noisy due to other guests.

Review 53：The hotel Flore is well situated in the beautiful town of Villefranche-sur-mer. We had booked a room with terrace and sea view and, although this is more expensive, it does add a great deal to the pleasure of the stay to be able to sit out and admire the view. That said, the pool has good loungers and the same view (albeit a little lower) so no one need miss out. Our room was very quiet and the bed was big and very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with ample hot water always at the turn of the tap and nice toiletries for our use. The staff were lovely and always had a smile. The wifi was excellent. The breakfasts were tasty with a good selection of foods to keep you satisfied till lunchtime. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Villefranche as we plan to.

Review 54：Orange. What is it about Europe in general that makes for so many orange rooms?? This one was at least tasteful with poppies as the theme.

Review 94：We did not like the Loft Bedroom. The ceiling was low and awkward for the two adult children. This was not advised to us on booking. We believed we were getting two proper bedrooms for a family. I did advise the hotel of this. It was expensive for what we received. The bathroom is very old and looked unclean, even though it probably only looked unclean because it was old. The shower drainage was awful.

Review 96：When booking I had not appreciated that some of the rooms had only a skylight rather than a window. We opted for some rooms without sea view but had expected to be able to see out. I shall know to book the sea view rooms in future.

We did not take the optional breakfast but just walked down the street to a cafe for breakfast at a much more reasonable cost. We had one of four loft units as it is more spacious for three people. It would be good if they provided a small refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and could easily accommodate five people with one queen bed and a single bed in the loft and another queen bed on the main floor. I would definately recommend staying in Ville Franche rather than in Nice.

Review 100：Room down by pool was basic. Absolutely comfortable in fine weather, air conditioning was good. However, slight musty smell would make me unsure of how it might be if weather was damp and one wanted to spend more time in the room...
