Reviews for Château Saint-Martin & Spa

Review 1:Restaurant was horrible. Food poorly cooked and inedible. We were so bummed because it looked so great.

Review 2:We were upgraded and our room was amazing. View breathtaking. Service was great and nearly the edge of being too much.

Review 3:Beautiful and peaceful setting, comfortable room with wonderful view. We had a problem with our final bill but it was sorted out quickly, politely and efficiently.

Review 4:The lovely view from the balcony and, of course, breakfast on the terrace. The food and wine served at diner was outstanding. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to enjoy the lovely pool, maybe next time!

Review 5:A e 700 a night room should be 110% perfect, instead dirty spots on theceiling, and bad finishing near the window. Also additional items (E.G.e 7 for regular coffee, and e 14 for an ice tea which was 80% ice and 20%liquid) were way overpriced, as was the room rate for what we recieved.Perhaps we have seen to many nice places and know that at this rate muchbetter valued hotels are to be found.

Review 6:View from hotel room and breakfast terrace, friendly staff.

Review 7:A few small service issues quickly resolved, would suggest not indicative of the hotel.

Review 8:An almost perfect small luxury hotel, charming and helpful staff. Beautifully appointed bedrooms and public areas. Quiet location with great views of the coastline.

Review 9:Beautiful grounds. Amazing room with an amazing terrace and view of the countryside. Caring and friendly staff took care of us. We would return again.

Review 10:i had some problems with wifi, when moving from one building to another or to the garden, but it was not so annoying. you need to fully relax there!

Review 11:it has been the best hotel in my life so far. Everything was at high level and it was worth the money. I didn't use spa as i think spa is same everywhere ! but i enjoyed Michelin 1*star restaurant and great swimming pool and saunas, perfect breakfast where fresh raspberry juice was under my expectations). we visited St-Paul-de-Vence and it was so nice, felt like Siena in Italy.

Review 12:The exercise room was a bit lacking with some of the (limited) equipment not working.

Review 13:Room was very spacious with breath taking views from the balcony (Junior Superior Suite). The property offered lots of space to roam without the bustle of the city. Restaurant food was outstanding. Service was exemplary.

Review 14:wifi dropped often but was decent when it worked. Signs to get there on the windy road could be better (its ok once youve been there and know where it is).

Review 15:views, rooms are spacious, staff are friendly, breakfast on the terrace is lovely

Review 16:SPA (expert advice) suite room design time to leave

Review 17:dinner in gourmet rest.(expert advice) service (really Premium) location wine cellar breakfast great view

Review 18:GOING HOME-I could hardly get my wife out of the bedroom as it was so beautiful with such a panoramic view to die for. The bathroom was all marble-the best I have ever seen. It was like living in a castle all weekend!!!

Review 19:everything- people. food. surroundings. facilities. family atmosphere. feeling of being valued. a faultless holiday to be repeated as soon as possible. the place was perfect to every last detail. the staff were really happy and smiled all the time-we really loved every minute

Review 20:Rooms were too hot at night , To many Mosquitos

Review 27:Amazing service and hospitality on a stunning property

Review 28:The in-room Breakfast is very poor!

Review 29:Everything was very good.

Review 30:Everything

Review 31:Price

Review 32:Service location

Review 33:Cost cost cost so that value for money becomes questionable

Review 34:Great building and grounds pool a bit cold staff lovely

Review 35:dont get a drink unless you dont care about the price

Review 36:spectacular facility and view

Review 37:Great cycling & town also. Staff was very helpful & accommodating-we booked 2 nights & added another 2 because we loved it so much.

Review 38:The setting, the environment, the pool. Eveything

Review 39:Spectacular views in every direction. The patio breakfast (included in the rate) offered a wide selection of bread, fruit, cereal and cooked egg options. The property and service levels were worthy of the Relais and Chateaux collection -- at which we have always had a top notch experience. Pool staff and housekeeping staff were excellent.

Review 40:The menu for the 180 restaurant is confusing when ordering fish. Instead of stating the price either for one or two people it's done by weight. 100 grams of fish is 15 euros, what does that mean?

Review 41:Everything! From the moment we arrived we felt very pampered. It is a luxurious hotel with magnificent property.

Review 42:The food and wine prices are way too high--the "casual" bistroentrees average 45 euro. Moreover, it is just not that good and far fromMichelin-caliber. Wine list is extensive but exorbitantly expensive, andthey were out of the reasonably priced bottles. After our fist night, breakfast became the only meal we ate there--it was included in the roomrate. We would've patronized the bar and restaurants every day hadthey been better.

Review 43:The setting and views are incomparably beautiful. The grounds andbuildings absolutely spectacular. Rooms are large and lovely--many havelarge private terraces. The outdoor areas include a huge terrace with aview to the coast and mountains. Front of the hotel is perched on acliff, back has gardens and view of the massiff. It has a luxuriousfeel without being stuffy. Intimate, but not small. Many strikingpublic areas.

Review 44:everything good ....

Review 45:The food, wine and beverages in the cafe restaurant were very expensive.

Review 46:Magnificent views and spacious accommodation

Review 47:they gave us an upgrade to a beautiful room, and the staff was so lovely.
