Review 1：bathroom sink and toilet not as clean as I'd like. shower extremely small. no safe in the room. hotel safe only accepts passports and nothing else. no cash or credit cards or cameras / laptops. very thin walls so we could hear street noise and other guests in hallway and in their rooms. could not turn on heater in room. toilet leaked onto tile from a pipe leaving puddle of water each day. shower & sink did not drain well and filled up with water with use. very strange door keys. the hotel staff asked you to leave the key at the reception desk upon leaving so we had to wait sometimes to get our hotel key when we would come back which was a bother.

Review 14：I didn't like the fact that they changed towels every day (there is no way to make them not change towels, for example when you used a towel only once). Personally, in this time where we're all concerned about the earth's environment, I don't think that is still okay. They also changed my soap whenever I had just opened the package; meaning they throw almost unused soaps away. Very unfortunate. I hope to see this changed in the future.
Review 15：This is a really good place to stay at. Good, friendly staff. They even helped me out when I was getting sick. Also the location is very convenient - on my free day I decided to walk around Paris, it took me half an hour to get to the Bibliothèque nationale de France and then probably another half an hour to get to the Notre Dame. (But if you wanted to take the T, there are two stops close-by.)

The water in the shower was barely hot. The sheets seemed clean but there was a large black stain in the middle of the bed. The room was small and quite expensive, but it seems normal in Paris.

Review 68：The toilet seat was a very unpleasant surprise, I wouldn't recommendanyone to sit on it. The room has a persisting smell, you have to airthe premises every 2-3 hours. Breakfast menu should be sensibly reviewedand updated. Under these circumstances, I consider the price should bereadjusted.

Review 71：I had a very small bathroom and when you tried to get into the shower the opening was so small you had to squeeze into it! Also I had a room on the 3 rd floor facing the street which was not so wonderful. The Port Royal is a very busy road with a hospital and so there is a constant sound of sirens going off and on the weekend there must be a bar or nightclub blasting away till quite late. The windows are double glazed and cuts out on the noise but I was there and it was extremely hot and wanted the window open for ventilation as there is no fan or air conditioning.
Review 72：I liked that I was in walking distance to the Metro and had 2 excellent bus services virtually outside the hotel..No's 21 and 83. A couple of friendly cafe/restaurants very close by not to mention Rue Mouffetard a few streets away. The place is cheap enough and the positives outweigh the negatives. Staff are helpful and were quite friendly.
