Review 12:Good size rooms, clean and comfortable with great view. Good breakfast wih plenty of choice. Super location close to summer lifts for MTB or walking. Large pivate car park, garage for bikes and hose to wash them off.

Review 38:Small central location and very friendly team
Review 39:Small room but perfectly comfortable.
Review 40:Really made an effort to cater for our vegetarian requiremnts.
Review 41:Impatient maid waiting outside room half hour before checkout time .
Review 42:Excellent breakfast, good wifi.
Review 43:-excellent location -friendly staff -big room -excellent value for money
Review 44:Place a bit dated
Review 45:Great staff very helpful Amazing location
Review 46:There is a set menu(no choice) which was really nice but it was the same menu for our 4 year old, also dinner was not until 1930 which was a bit late after a days skiing for him.
Review 47:Food was excellent, room was clean tidy and comfortable.
Review 48:Some of the cheeses with the main meal, but thats just me! Others loved them.
Review 49:Good choice for breakfast with fruit juices, continental pastries and cakes, bacon and eggs. Main meals in the evening were excellent with prompt friendly service. Bed was clean and comfy and plenty of hot water for showers after a day on the slopes. Close proximity to main ski lifts and shops/restaurants. Quiet in the evenings. Staff friendly and helpful.
Review 50:Bedroom needed a little updating, but you get what you pay for.
Review 51:Location to ski slopes, was excellent only a few minutes walk away. Also, although the menu was a set menu and you got no choice in the meal, it was 4 course and the standard was excellent.
Review 52:Food could be a problem if you didn't like the set menu as there didn't appear to be any alternative.
Review 53:The food - four course dinner was of excellent quality
Review 54:Food good but a choice would have been nice
Review 55:Accommodation was basic but spotless and comfortable. Good location very close to slopes.Owner very friendly Children loved the breakfasts
Review 56:The was no choices for food food variations. The given food was very tasty, but if somebody does not like it, he has no alternative. The staff in the kitchen id not speak English
Review 57:Location was very good. Very short walk to the ski lifts. Very clean place. The food is tasty. The rooms are clean and comfortaable. The Wi-fi is fre in the rooms. The staff is very friendly.
Review 58:Bedroom was a bit dated and small for three people but perfectly adequate - not spending much time in there anyway
Review 59:The breakfast was brilliant, great choice and top quality. The room was very clean. Overall, great food, warm, masses of hot water, central location and good value. Pool table was used a lot!
Review 60:It is a minor point but it would be great id the bar area was open all afternoon for drinks and coffees, when you can't ski , if the weather is lousy, people are only to happy to sit and relax with a drink and book next to a fire.
Review 61:The food was exceptional in the evenings, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Review 62:Staff were all v.friendly and helpful. Food was always good, especially at supper. Our needs as a trio of middle-aged skiers were more than met. A good choice to stay if you don't mind a slightly quieter nightlife.
Review 63:A group of other guests were extremely noisy most nights and would often wake us in the early hours. The hotel eventually closed the bar to all guests to try and solve the problem but I felt this punished everyone for the actions of a few that should have been dealt with indepentently. There also seemed to be no one on night duty to monitor noise.
Review 64:The food was fantastic as was the size and comfort of the room. You could not get much more central in Les Gets and hotel was a 5 minute walk to the lifts.
Review 65:There was nothing we didn't like!
Review 66:Comfortable, clean, very friendly hotel, ample parking (free!) right in the perfect part of the town. We loved it! Also the breakfast was really excellent.
Review 67:can sometimes get noise from the street but that's the trade-off if you want to be right on the main street which is extremely convenient.
Review 68:the convenient location, the accommodation had everything we needed and friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was also very good.
Review 69:Quiet and spacious apartment (Galaxy) opposite the hotel. Excellent position right in the centre of this very friendly village. Most helpful and pleasant owners.
Review 70:Really had to think about this - no kettle (but was a coffee maker) and sofa beds not all that comfortable even for kids
Review 71:Extremely friendly, bakery and supermarket nearby, easy access to main lifts in resort, secure parking, spacious apartment
Review 72:Decor a little dated. Could here the people in the room above walking about (sounded like baby elephants).
Review 73:Friendly, relaxed, clean, comfortable, good service, lovely views of the mountain, quiet (no noise from the village), very good food, conveniently close for the ski lifts.
Review 74:Quite a basic apartment so options for entertaining a small child quite limited - needs a DVD player! No shower curtain A bit noisy at night when the local disco comes out - difficult when a young child needs sleep
Review 75:Extremely clean Ski locker a real bonus Good that all the beds fitted into a seperate bedroom Balcony and amazing views of the village and surrounding mountains Friendly staff Ease of access to the slopes - 5 mins walk max.
Review 76:A little on the expensive side but the location is fantastic for proximity to skiing and general amenities of Les Gets.
Review 77:Great food. Relaxed, friendly, helpful staff with a family-run feel. Brilliant location for access to skiing and general amenities of Les Gets.
Review 78:Hot water in the bathroom not quite hot enough for a bath. A kettle in the room would have been nice
Review 79:Very friendly staff. Good position for ski ing very close to the lifts, shops and bars. we enjoyed the food very much
Review 80:The bed covers were old and shabby. Blankets were supplied instead of duvets.
Review 81:The location was ideal being so near to ski lifts, shops, restaurants and supermarket. Great view from large windows.
Review 82:It's in serious need of modernising. It's not shabby but everything except the TV is from the 1970's..and looks like it. We also were quite annoyed by the noisy neighbours who seemed to hve dumped their kids in the next room while they stayed on another floor!
Review 83:Location, great view, price
Review 84:The rooms are dark, not enough lighting. The tiles are old. No showercurtain. The pull out bed is old and uncomfortable. The sheet andblanket system does not work for a ski accomodation. They should usecomforters.
Review 85:The location was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The kichen equipment was sufficient.
Review 86:Would not recommend this hotel for young children as restaurant managerfunny little chap who very obviously didn't like children. Also nogood for fussy eaters.
Review 87:Quirky little hotel, fabulous location in village. Great food (althoughno choice). Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Review 88:I liked everything!
Review 89:Proximity to the ski lift. Spacious studio apartment in Stella Galaxy, fully equipped, comfortable. Perfect for people who come to ski, lots of fun for kids, quietness and want mid-range accommodation. Any request or concern that we had was promplty attended by the Stella staff. If you want some extra luxuries (one million channels TV, massages each night etc.) book one of the 5-star hotels and do not complain about Stella!
Review 90:Nothing !!!!!
Review 91:Very comfortable and very friendly. Excellent location for Les Gets Ski lifts. Extremely clean and well presented. Well worth considering for a Ski base !
Review 92:Quirky restaurant manager isn't as bad as some say, but still couldbe more friendly.
Review 93:Location. Quality of evening meal. Good basic room and showers not asbad as some reports indicate, small glass screen over bath.
Review 94:Small room. No pool.
Review 95:The hotel is well located - 3 minutes to the telecabins and on the central street. The dinners were extraordinary delicious. Wake up in the mornings we thought what we would have for the dinners!) The cooker is the master!
Review 96:A bit noisy from other adjoining apartments. Needed a better light in the kitchen. Kept banging head on low oven hood - this could be easily fixed with a protector.
Review 97:Great location. Good size rooms. Well equipped kitchens. Very clean. Helpful staff. Plentiful hot water when needed. Load of natural light from large windows.
Review 98:If you want to stay close to town, its is good location andreasonable price.
Review 99:One of staffs was not friendly at all. He was around from the breakfastand also evening but no smile and when we asked something, he just gaveus very simple answers and seemed very grumpy. May be because we didn'tspeak French but it shouldn;t be as we were one of " customer" whereeverpeople come from, the staff should not discriminate.
Review 100:The decoration was dated but as long as you can see past this, it is a great location. I had no problem seeing past this.
Review 101:The staff were fantastic and the room was immaculate. It was a great location and I would definately stay again.
Review 102:The waiter was very rude and difficult. He was unfriendly and made it very clear that he did not like children. His attitude spoilt our meal times.
Review 103:Very clean tidy hotel. Food was good ad breakfast and average at dinner.
Review 104:Rather basic, but ok for money
Review 105:Close to ski lift Nice breakfast - more than regular croissants, butsome choice of yogurts, ham, and boiled eggs Mountain view
Review 106:Restruarant Manager a little Hitlor and needs to learn some peoples skills. No choise of food at dinner if you did not like what was served you were stuffed. Breakfast continental and very good.
Review 107:Friendly and helpful staff (except Restruarant Manager) Good Food Ideal Location for Skiing Very Clean Discount on Ski hire
Review 108:The only complaint we have is that there was no curtain on the shower.
Review 109:The hotel was extremely clean, tidy and well-presented. It was veryclose to the slopes and easy to go back and forth. Staff were friendlyand approachable. Excellent food and service in the restaurant. Anenjoyable and delightful stay.
Review 110:What a fantastic hotel. We have stayed in the resort on at least 10occassions and merely walked past this unobtrusive hotel. However youshould not let outside appearances fool you, the hotel was superb, thefood terrific and the service excellent, from the moment we walked in tothe moment we left. The room was sizeable, clean and with an awesome viewof the mountains to wake up to. We booked on a short break, but wouldhave loved to have stayed longer and would happily return tomorrow!
Review 111:Bathroom was a little on the small side and the restaurant manager can be a little intimidating at first as per comments posted by many others. It would have been nice to have the option of B&B instead of half-board so we weren;t restricted to eating in the hotel every night.
Review 112:Location in centre of village and close to bottom of pistes is excellent. Room was decent size (though so see bathroom cpomments below) and had good views. Bar area was nice to relax in before and after dinner. Free parking was also very handy as were the ski locker facilities.
Review 113:It is way over priced for a 2 star hotel at the end of the ski season. Not good value
Review 114:The location is great - a 3 minute walk from the main ski lift and rightin the centre of town. The buffet breakfast was very good - something for everyone.
Review 115:Sadly its going to get knocked down to make way for new flats in the next few years so get in while you can
Review 116:The half board was very good, the drinks at the hotel were very good, eg wine 11 euros a bottle at lunch this was great value, when they could have really stiffed us. Really close to the slopes, and a big off road car park. 20% of ski hire and our lift passes were waiting for us at the hotel. Stella is just great value.
Review 117:all is fine and provided by Stella appartments, the only negative is the double bed which was not really double...if they change beds it would be the fantastic place to stay due to its proximity to the main ski lifts.
Review 118:location , close to ski lifts ,restaurants, right in the center of Les Gets. rooms big enough for what it says in the offer, kitchen, ski storage space . Bed clothing was very clean.
Review 119:The waiting staff in the dining room and bar were very rude andunfriendly but the owners were lovely and helpful even though they didnot speak very good english. Dinner consisted of 4 courses which wassuperb although served from 8pm which is quite late for children and didnot involve a childrens menu.
Review 120:The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were spotlessly clean andcosy. Parking was secure and convenient.
Review 121:Very simple rooms with outdated furnishings : curtains and carpets could do with an overhaul
Review 122:Location: central in Les Gets Half Board : nice enough food - friendly staff
Review 123:Ski room is a bit basic - no individual shoe driers.
Review 124:Great location, close to ski lift. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are basic but clean and functional.
Review 125:Some of the staff unfriendly. Tired decor. No shower curtain, butpossible to minimise the drenching of the bathroom.
Review 126:Good location with own car park. Basic but very clean and sufficientrooms. Lots of hot water with pressure in the showers. Good breakfastwhich gets replenished regularly. Hotel has a lift.
Review 127:Easy to find, comfortable and friendly hotel that is a short stride from the slopes. Good value for money, with free wifi in all rooms a pleasant bonus for a 2-star hotel.
Review 128:Although I booked on the hotel Stella website I ended up in theirapartments situated across the road in the Galaxy building. I was notexpecting to have to make my own bed, provide my own soap etc nor tohave no daily maid service. This is not made clear on the website. Theaprtment is like walking back into a 1970's timewarp. Very dark withwood cladding everywhere. The pillows were very old, dirty anduncomfotable as was the bed. This place needs, at the least, new softfurnishings and preferably a complete renovation. The property is ighton the main road and directly opposite a very popular (and noisy) bar.
Review 129:Reasonable situation in the middle of town, just a 3 minute walk to theski lifts. Good breakfast in the Hotel Stella (diagonally across theroad). Good sized ski locker and boot room (but no individual bootdriers). Free wi-fi.
Review 130:Slightly tired decor but very clean and far more than we expected to get for the price we paid!
Review 131:Clean, comfortable rooms, with bath in bathroom, and exceptionally good food.
Review 132:The comfort of the apartment was correct although a slight modernization(dish washer, better sofa) might be a plus. However, value for money isabsolutely good.
Review 133:We booked a 'one room' apartment in residence 'Le Galaxy' (belongs toHotel Stella). Perfect location in the centre of Les Gets, close to theski lifts, shops, restaurants, cinema, etc friendly owner.
Review 134:Great value for money. The meals were excellent and the hotel issituated right in the heart of the town and only a few minutes walk fromthe ski lifts. We had a double aspect room with a balcony which waslight and airy. The room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom wasspacious but it could have done with a shower curtain across the bath-it was possible with care to shower without one. Lots of hot water atany time of the day. Very friendly and polite staff - in particular thelady receptionist and the young waiter who served in the evening wereboth very attentive and efficient. We would certainly return again.
Review 135:Really happy with the room they gave us, nice view, on the 4th floor, only 2 rooms on the floor which gives more privacy. Breakfast wasactually also really good! Loved the placed and would definitlyrecomend it!
