Reviews for Maison Pic

Review 1:Easy to get to from the autoroute, and although we drove right past it, once we realized our error, getting back was easy. Lovely quite room, outstanding meal, staff was watchful and attentive but did not hover. Both Pic stores had wonderful items for purchase.

Review 2:Would have expected breakfast to be included in very high price not to have to pay an additional 30 euros each. Charged 10 euros for a cup of tea? Only Pic restaurant open in the evening. Although lovely fare, took far too long to serve. We left the restaurant after midnight without finishing our courses having been there over 4 hours.

Review 3:Lovely hotel in lovely surroundings

Review 4:No wifi in room, strong signal at reception area only. Surprised to notice large dog allowed in hotel?

Review 5:Quiet.Secure onsite location.Attentive staff.Restaurant.

Review 6:The main 3 Michelin star restaurant was closed on Sunday evening and we elected to eat in their Brassiere and the staff and food were not up to the expected standard for a 5 star establishment

Review 7:the hotel staff were very nice and helpful and nothing was a problem.

Review 8:The mini bar is in an unvented armoire. This heats up the entire armoire, making the refrigerator less efficient.

Review 9:Room comfort and special last minute rate. The "bistrot" is really a full restaurant in and, while not anything like the *** restaurant, it is quite good in its own right.

Review 10:The street outside the hotel was a rather dull walk.

Review 11:The dinner at the Bistro was excellent, much better than we expected. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We missed a dinner in the main restaurant as we were there only for a Monday night. But the restaurant looked very classy.

Review 12:Nothing much - no full length mirror in bedroom. Edges of bed hard and could catch you!

Review 13:Quality of staff and facilities. Style and comfort. Bistro Sept excellent. Main restaurant Pic fantastic although menu options mean you can't eat there two days running.

Review 14:Breakfast is expensive considering it is continental in style

Review 15:Loved the bed and the Hermes toiletries which smelt divine. Lovely big shower and warm towels. Hospitable staff.

Review 16:The only downside is having to leave, but there is always next time to anticipate.

Review 17:From beginning to end our stay at Maison Pic was idyllic. The staff ever charming and helpful, the accommodation superb, the dinner, exquisite. We enjoyed staying here last year but felt it was even more exceptionable this time.

Review 18:very modern clean and comfortable great stop off en route to South France from UK

Review 19:The staff were very nice & accommodating. The hotel & room was perfect in every way. Highly recommend this hotel.

Review 20:It''s a wonderful place for a short break. You feel the taste in every moment in every thing.

Review 21:Beautifully designed hotel. Excellent staff and wonderful food

Review 22:Everything

Review 23:Everything.

Review 24:Leaving

Review 25:All expectations exceeded, amazing welcome, beautiful bedroom, fabulous food

Review 26:recepies of A.S.Pic

Review 27:I was travelling with a group of restauranteurs and chefs and had a terrible meal at the brasserie

Review 28:The design of the rooms was great

Review 29:the hotel and the exellent restaurant, radiates dignity, history and uncompromosing elegance.

Review 30:What we did like is that the illumination in the room and bathroom with LED is excellent

Review 31:Bistro fixed menu somewhat limiting. Service was not up to standards; very young and inept.

Review 32:Excellent rooms and staff. Wonderful breakfast.

Review 33:A fantastic place to stop on the way to Provence! A truly memorable meal!

Review 34:Nothing to not like.

Review 35:The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us.

Review 36:Nothing really except for the minor qiobble over the meal.

Review 37:A lovely haven in an otherwise unprepossessing town. Superb service and facilities. We ate in the bistro and the food was beautifully prepared, but a little insubstantial. When one has three courses instead of nine in the 3* restaurant one needs some starch as part of the main course.

Review 38:Comfortable and clean room with modern decor and complimentary mimi bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bistro and restaurant were excellent.

Review 39:We were so over fed by delicious food at dinner that we just couldn't face breakfast , although we normally would always have breakfast, which we were previously looking forward to... :-(

Review 40:The entire experience was brilliant, the ambience, furnishing, facilities in the room, and of course the the restaurant at Maison Pic were one of the best experiences of our travels (and we have travelled a lot!)

Review 41:Location quite busy.

Review 42:Room was very clean, lovely linen and comfortable. Bistro good option to fine dining as much quicker and simpler after a long journey. Lovely picnic upon departure. Close to tollway.

Review 43:Although all the staff was very professional and very helpful, we found them lacking in passion and enthusiasm. We expected them to have more of a sense of pride for working in such a grand place as the Maison Pic. The breakfast was good but with too much emphasis on the "sweet". For the price, it should automatically include a small dish of cheese and ham. Charging €6 for an egg seems ridiculous! It was a nice idea to give departing guests a bag for the road with water and a croissant however, at least give two croissants, one for each guest!

Review 44:We very much appreciated the quality of the food, the creativity of the dishes, the discovery of new ingredients. Each dish was a special creation.

Review 45:Food Staff Service Amenities

Review 46:Excellent hotel but suffers from poor location.

Review 47:Fine cuisine by Grand Chef Anne-Sophie Pic!

Review 48:Noise from extractor fan

Review 49:Excellent service; probably best in Europe
