Review 1：took a while to work out taps/shower controls plug etc small cupboard in our roon (204) looked like doors needed some attention & also some of the room paintwork was a bit rough around the edges 9,30am for breakfast was a little early when we'd been at a party until 2am also think the hotel should offer the full bosco breakfast (not much cost to the hotel) and little later serving times for a weekend.

Review 3：The bed on the floor was pretty awful and always rolled away from the wall. I cut my self on a sharp nail on the bed. Under the bed was filthy... for beds that roll easily this should be cleaned regularly....

Review 14：I didn't realise the bar would be open until 1.00am on Friday night, and the music was quite loud. Not so bad for me as I go to bed pretty late, but hard on those who like an early night.

Review 15：The location, opposite Surbiton railway station and round the corner from bus services into Kingston is brilliant. Also, although I knew they had no on-site parking, the use of a large, nearby private car park was really useful and pretty convenient. Good buffet-style continental breakfast, with plenty of variety, including boiled eggs. Very comfortable bed and nice bathrooms.

Review 42：We chose to pay the extra so that we didn't have a room over the bar. It made no difference and we needed to change rooms at 11.30 pm. They put us in a room for the disabled on the top floor. The water was scolding and dangerously hot taking 10 minutes to cool down. Not a good experience and don't stay there on Friday or Saturday nights unless you like partying with the Surbiton 'in' set before you go to bed!

Review 46：On arrival the bathroom was dusty and dirty, the female front of house who we told about this was appallingly rude and didn't deal with it well. Very plain room for the price. Wouldn't stay again.

Review 50：Stayed at this hotel for one night. Air con in daughters room not working.. Temp was 31degrees. MAnagement said there was nothing they could do- no maintenance support on weekends which seemed ludicrous for a 4 star hotel. We had booked executive rooms- apparently there was one other standard available but it was right above the bar and manager said she wouldn't want to stay in it and didn't recommend it. Because the hotel had credit card details we had to pay full amount on departure; management said they didn't have authority to discount, which seemed rediculous. After numerous emails to head office did eventually get some reimbursement - still not satisfied with their response to the poor service. Breakfast staff very unhelpful - had a response bordering on rudeness when asked for more toasting bread. The moral of story don't expect great customer service.

Review 51：Breakfast was on the skimpy side, not much to choose from. No bacon, no choice of pastries. Really a shame as the hotel was excellent otherwise.

Review 69：We stayed 2 nights as we were attending Hampton Court Flower show so our stay was primarily business but as one of the days was our 25th wedding anniversary we decided to pay the almost double room rate (for the same room) for the 2nd night rather than travel home. The write up on the hotel which described it as a boutique hotel 'a stylish sanctuary for guests who desire that little bit extra' a boutique bathroom with 'luxury toiletries from Ren'. On arriving in our room we were very disappointed to find a large sparsely (not in a minimal way) room that lacked any character at all. There was a hand pump dispenser of a generic liquid soap above the sink and the same in the bath at shower level so you had to stand up whilst in the bath to access the soap dispenser, the same for the shampoo (not that I would have used it). Thank fully I had taken my own L'occitane verbena soap so at least we had a little luxury. I would rate the hotel as a good standard Premier Inn but no more than that. Very disappointed. I called reception to ask for a robe and they didn't supply them. In a luxury boutique, stylish hotel!!!!!!!!!

Review 70：Staff not very attentive. Staff in restaurant/bistro abrupt, incompetent and slow. Breakfast took ages and some parts of order cold. Room uncomfortable. Air con not effective. Given a disabled room when not requested. Charged £10 for checking in an hour early. Over priced.
