Review 1：On a busy main road and across from the train station
Review 2：A place with plenty of character. Comfy and bedrooms. Ensured we had somewhere safe to store our bikes. Nice restaurant. The main town has some really nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Review 3：Fairly unwelcoming reception Room drab and dark. But ok for a sleep. Noisy with traffic. Food at dinner ok and good choice. Breakfast basic french continental. Good coffee and hot.

Review 6：We had a one night stopover en-route to the cote d'azur. Easy to find from the motorway, plenty of free, safe parking opposite the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family room which was spacious and comfortable with air conditioning. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and would have happily stayed another night. Highly recommended!!
Review 7：Very friendly staff. Lovely clean shower rooms. It was the hottest of days and the rooms had been kept cool . We had one room with air conditioning and one with a fan. The rooms were good value and look better than on the photos. The food was excellent. It is on a busy road but it was quiet at night and double glazed so we were not disturbed.

Rooms to rear certainly quiet and basic but very adequate and we were very happy. Lovely stone building and staircase. Country style decorations bright and clean.

Review 22：Very quaint hotel in central location within very easy working distance to the captivating Abbey of Saint Philibert. We booked a room for 5, which was a room with a double bed and then quite steep stairs up to the loft where there were 3 single beds. Given that our children were a bit older the stairs were not a bother. We had a wonderful traditional meal of raclette and fondue in the restaurant downstairs and the breakfast provided was delicious. Staff were friendly and made every attempt to communicate in English to compensate for our very basic french!!!

Review 28：Room stayed true to the 'olde worlde' character of the hotel. Atmospheric dining room with brochettes delivered on stands and 'le Chapeau' gridirons. I dined rather better here than i did at a more lauded restaurant 200m down the road three months ago.
Review 29：It would have been nice to have been able to check in a little earlier, we had to wait for an hour in the bar of another hotel across the road for the door to be opened at 5pm. Breafast a little expensive for what is provided.
Review 30：Location close to the old town, easy access to the motorway, proper French hotel with all the quirkiness and character that goes with it, far better than any chain hotel on an industrial estate on the extreme outskirts if you want to properly experience this country. Made very welcome and is so often the case a secure covered area was provided to park our motorcycle. Good value.

Review 59：We used this hotel twice. First night we booked it for a stop on our way to southern France. On our way home we decided to stay there again. The rooms are small, but very decent. Proper bathroom and bed. We had a room at the garden side of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet. Be sure to eat diner there. The food is plenty and delicious.
Review 60：A convenient place to stop going south from Calais (for us from Paris to the Alps) with much to see in Tournus including the abbey; le Relais was a perfect place to finish a tiring day's drive, with a comfortable room, a welcoming restaurant and friendly and obliging staff. Hope to go again many times in the future.

Review 62：Absolutely wonderful location, only a few blocks from the Abbey. Eating at the restaurant at the main level was a wonderful experience. The room was basic but delighted with the modern bathroom. I will be back to the area and certain stay here again and again.
Review 63：Felt a little ripped off as found out the Hotel double rooms were 45€ which quite honestly is all they were worth. I had booked in advance and paid double that for a room for 2 adults and a child.
Review 64：Everything was just okay. Decided to eat in the restaurant. We had the speciality fondu. Don't get a loads for your money and we weren't full at the end but the meat quality was absolutely fantastic.
