Reviews for Appart'City Lyon Villeurbanne

Review 1:Lift was out of service, the front of the hotel was demolished, there was only street parking, the wifi was only available in the lobby & I did not feel safe in the lobby.

Review 2:They left the wrong key in my envelope, so I had to call the call center 3 times to finally receive another key, that would open almost every room in the building (I opened the wrong door for accident and found persons there), except the new room (and the first one) that they gave to me. There was no places to charge a cellphone, and I spent almost an hour trying to enter my apartment, and it ruined ALL my plans in Lyon. In the end, I had to call one more time, receive a THIRD key and number of apartment, all because they couldn't make it right in the first (and second) time. There was no person to help, and in the next day, no one was in the reception, so I had to just leave the keys there. Totally bizarre and annoying. After all that, knowing that I had a master key made me really nervous, I couldn't sleep and was afraid to leave my stuff in the apartment.

Review 3:Nothing like photos, very old and dated and hard to find. Expensive parking too

Review 4:Not really my standard of hotel. Bathroom was not cleaned to my standards, very dated decor

Review 5:Check in counter said that They will leave keys if I arrive outside opening hours, but they didn't! I end up waiting for more tha two hours. First impression I am not happy at all! Bed is snapped they support it with something else underneath. Cheap solution

Review 6:Room clean.

Review 7:" Bad " starts from the extremely narrow parking where scrathes on the walls demonstrates I was not the only one to suffer. "Bad" continues with dirty lift: carpets NEED to be cleaned, bathroom room show dark & smelly moisture while the windpows were cleaned for the last time probably 2 years ago... Am a frequent traveller and this was long time since such a bad feeling: will never come back there !!

Review 8:The principle of a large room + kitchen

Review 9:we had 2 rooms 302 was great but my friends in 206 said it smelt of sewerage and were not happy about the room. Address on website wasnt the place! so put in follow directions and another address comes up!

Review 10:spacious room, great kitchen facilities though didnt need them. Great shower. Nice and quiet. used garage, though would be helpful to say on website how to locate! ended up going around the block! also spaces quiet tight for large cars!

Review 11:Good blinds on the windows, but since the room window faced the street with car traffic, you need to replace the ventilation holes in wall on the internal ventilation through the roof.

Review 12:Optimal design in marine style, spacious bathroom, friendly staff

Review 13:What I disliked HUGELY is the fact that their is no one at the reception desk at night, nor on Sundays. If something goes wrong, the client is really stuck: one cannot phone anywhere from one's room when there is no one at the reception desk (nor, if I understood correctly, when there is! A client cannot even phone 15 (the ambulance service) -- and not everyone has cell phones, plus one's phone or battery can stop working even if one does. The hotel does not even have Wi-Fi: the cable in my room did not work, so they gave me another one which did--but I was without internet access for two days. Another potential major problem is that a client could forget or lose the entry code: if so, with no one at the reception desk, the client would have no way whatsoever to get indoors, no matter the time of day or (especially) night, and no matter what the weather. That could be fatal, literally. My "superior double studio" was sparsely furnished--a comfortable armchair or (preferably) sofa be desirable. Appart'City Lyon Villeurbanne says the nearest subway station is Flachet. In fact, Cusset is twice as close. That mis-information should be corrected immediately. The hotel does not seem to offer maps of the neighbourhood, so one cannot go to the nearest swimming pool easily (it does not appear on commercial maps). Maps of the neighbourhood as well as of both Lyon & Villeurbanne would be very helpful.

Review 14:Location. Friendly, competent staff. I had a nice deck, but it seemed that only my unit had any deck at all. Appliances worked well, although fridge setting was too cold.

Review 15:Proximité des transports publics

Review 16:Would like wifi in room

Review 17:Stuff

Review 18:reception was not so kind and it is a little noisy during night ..!

Review 19:comfortable, well placed and very clean.

Review 20:wifi payante

Review 21:Very poor breakfast

Review 22:price was very expensive for what they offer, but most probably the demand was very high due to an exhibition in the city

Review 23:clean room, decent space

Review 24:close to metro station

Review 25:The bed was a pull out couch

Review 26:Low price

Review 27:The idea of cleaning the room on your checking out. At least the room should be cleaned once in every other day if you are staying up to 5 days and above.

Review 28:Nice Apartment, good location and it really meet our needs.

Review 29:The appartment is very expensive and doesn't have room cleaning service. The bed is a sofa convertible to bed so is very uncomfortable.

Review 30:The first day the staff of the hotel was very careful.

Review 31:nobody was in the reception, my name wasn't in the list, i tried to call 2 numbers to reach someone who can explain me why i booked a room and nobody can give me one, the security gard gave me a room which was booked by another woman, she took the room and the security gard gave me another room

Review 32:The apartment was surprisingly well equipped in respect to kitchen tools and a little dishwasher as well as nicely clean and furnished rooms A very good opffer for everybody who wants to explore this wonderful city with its three centres. We walked all the way from the hotel into town and then took the subway home. Easy: for 1,70 e back to 5 minutes away from the hotel. We had a great time and recommend this hotel for people who like easy access from the highway and off again and enjoy a little apartment with exclusive shopping facilities in the shopping centre of Villeurbanne!

Review 33:no internet access (problem not fixed during my 3 nights stay)

Review 34:no wireless connection and no hair dryer.

Review 35:Rooms are lovely. bed transformed to couch. cosy and clean apartment.

Review 36:Nothing - had everything we expected.

Review 37:Location - Handy for Metro. Local shops close by. Comfortable room. Very quiet.

Review 38:Hotel corridors weren't very clean. The shower drain was blocked. I don't think it deserves a 3 star rating.
