Reviews for Casita Bentayga
Review 1:The shower only runs hot water for a short time, but its manageable with quick showers! Local restaurants in Tejeda didn't perform for us, though nearby Cruz de Tejeda is better and eating in Las Palmas can be exquisite.
Review 2:The outdoor covered barbecue area is fantastic! The central location is good for exploring the island if you are a confident driver on narrow mountain roads and don't mind 1 hour+ journeys through spectacular country.
Review 3:The house was a bit dark, and the hot water is very limited (small tank for a quick shower of only for one person)
Review 4:Nice open oven for making barbecue, lovely location
Review 5:Due to the cold weather at the start of our holiday it was a little cold in the evening, the extra blankets did the trick at bedtime, however I'm sure a second oil radiator would make all the difference.
Review 6:A lovely welcome even though we were later than planned, a nice clean & tidy place to stay with a short walk to all the village facilities including a bakery & a Spar that opened until 7.30pm which was really handy. We enjoyed the outside cooking/wood burning of an evening! The views were amazing, it was also so peaceful and such a great location for all the walks we did.
Review 7:We stayed for Christmas so it was of course a bit cold at night, there was a heater but maybe a more effective one would help making the house warmer during the colder evenings.
Review 8:The location, the helpful welcome from the staff, the beautifully situated houses (the two rented out houses Casita Bentayga and Casita Nublo are situated next to each other but our neighbors were really nice so that was not a problem). Amazing views of Tejeda and the mountains! Lovely garden with herbs and lemon trees etc. Very good oven and stove for cooking.
Review 9:-the interior of the living room could have been nicer for indoor life when bad wheather prevent outdoors life (plastic flowers and kitchy paintings, too bright lights for cosyness, no comfortable sofa, insufficient heating arrangements)
Review 10:-fantastic views -great cafe nearby -great outdoor space -well equipped -cleanliness -tranquility -very welcoming hostess/assistant
Review 11:No comfortable seating inside. Poor hot water supply, hardly enough for one shower.
Review 12:Location. View. Quiteness.
Review 13:One of the walls in the bedroom has a humidity problem.
Review 14:Beautifully situated, cute little cottage with a nice big terrace and a great view. Lots of equipment (even a BBQ, and a little heater, can be handy in winter). Very friendly welcome and helpful manager, thanks again!
Review 15:The casita is at the end of quite a steep slope - a bit of a hassle dragging your suitcase into the casita and out again when leaving!
Review 16:Very authentic Spanish casita. It's not very big, but it worked for us. Lovely terrace with great view of the mountains. Plenty of privacy. Lots of hiking options out of and around Tejeda. Most restaurants in Tejeda are not worth mentioning, with the absolute exception of "DéjateLlevar" - one hell of a great salad bar and lounge café (and much more) for those who've had enough of the unavoidable "pescado a la plancha". http://www.letmetakeu.com/index/index/lan/en
Review 17:We had Bad Werther and the heating facilities were very poor
Review 18:The view was very nice and the Building was beautiful and the Location very good
