Review 1:None
Review 2:Beautiful setting and wonderful service from friendly staff. I had the pool all to myself for a relaxing swim before dinner. This was our seond stay and we loved it just as much as the first time.
Review 3:Nothing
Review 4:Immaculate decor, beautiful room with extras such as complementary soft drinks and bath robes, helpful staff, lovely secluded location, excellent value. We couldn't have asked for more!
Review 5:We arrived to a very polite lady who made us feel welcome. I love the set up of Warren house it felt like our own little private cottage would recommend again.
Review 6:Radiator made incredibly loud noises during the night. Woke us up several times. We noted this to the reception.
Review 7:Lovely atmosphere, decoration, location. Friendly staff. Good facilities, including nespresso coffee in rooms. Also, great breakfast!
Review 8:Although the furniture was nice the wardrobe was big, made out of wood and very heavy in look and use. Maybe a little fix up would make it easier !
Review 9:Excellent ! Good quality. Room 34 was fabulous ! Nice hot batch in a clean bathroom. Relaxing stay, big bed :) Very classy and we had our privacy. Just what we wanted. We like having weekends out or staying in hotels on occasional days and we'll definitely come back to Warren House! My fiancee was very happy and she's the fussy one. ;)
Review 10:Housekeeping had not serviced our room after we had been out all day after first night. No fresh sheet changes. (Stayed for 3 nights).
Review 11:Nice property in tranquil location, stone throw from scenic Richmond Park and easy access to Central London. You feel safe here at all times of day. Plenty of parking, generous and tasty breakfast, beautiful grounds, and polite and courteous staff with plenty of etiquette. Very generous complimentary contents in mini bar, state of the art surround system and flat screen tv, coffee maker. All round luxury comfort. Very nice swimming pool.
Review 12:Unfortunately my side lights were not working in the bedroom and in my brother's room he did not have a loo roll so I had to give him my spare one. We didn't want to complain as the overall impression was excellent.
Review 13:The atmosphere was lovely and homely and just right for our New Year's Eve night.
Review 14:Nothing!
Review 15:Very friendly staff, beautiful house with many open fires, comfortable rooms, stunning gardens and architecture. Perfect for us! Oh and a great swimming pool!
Review 16:Uncomfortable bed, heating did not work and the windows were left open all day... In December! Shower was a trickle and the plug hole was blocked.
Review 17:The food was fantastic
Review 18:I left two completed feedback forms which were both complimentary and positive. I had to travel from Dublin to Kingston-upon-Thames urgently as my brother is gravely ill in the hospital there. As the staff became increasingly aware of my plight, they were hugely helpful and sympathetic. It made things a lot easier to handle.
Review 19:Only 2 other people in dinner room when we ate. Lack of atmosphere and although food good , there was too little of it.
Review 20:Friendly staff High standard of furnishings Attractive public rooms
Review 21:Second stay here and once again great hotel couldnt fault it, we stayed in suite room 1 again which is a great room and makes the stay a special one to remember all the staff are excellent and very professional. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a luxury stay in a great hotel. Thanks again
Review 22:Be very wary of this hotel. They have billed me £15 for the'included' breakfast, £35 for guests who visited for 1 hour and£100 surprise charge 5 days later when I asked for the invoice. Theytook £150 total without authorisation this hotel is a fraud anddon't believe the price you are shown on the website!! Avoid at allcosts!!! A £99 room has been billed at £266 - ridiculous! Avoid thishotel!!!!!!
Review 23:Room is very nice. Easy to check in.
Review 24:Is the second time I book room 5. Last time I made the staff aware that the sink taps were leaking and the bath tap closes itself while having a shower. Sencond time was expecting to get it fixed but I had the same problem
Review 25:The room are very nice. Is was a quite and characteristic place. Staff is pleasant
Review 26:The ceiling fan didn't work but they supplied us with a replacement fan straight away.
Review 27:I can't speak highly enough of Warren House and the staff. I took my girlfriend there for a weekend away and to propose. The staff helped arrange all my requirements and were very discrete. They went out of their way to make it special and help in whatever way they could. The room (34) was lovely and the bed so, so comfy. The food is excellent as is the service. If you happen to be having champagne on your trip I recommend the Clicqout, it's worth the extra money. The house, and grounds, itself are beautiful. well worth a wander round the mazy corridors, you never know what's around the corner. This was our 2nd trip to Warren House, we'd been here 3 years ago, and it certainly proved we were right to come back.
Review 28:Certain members of staff were obnoxious, rude and arrogant, would certainly not come here again, very poor facilities too, with a pool with lights that didn't work, a receptionist who argued with us as we checked out, another receptionist who barked out orders to another receptionist and porters.
Review 29:Location was good, with excellent open views, good restaurant
Review 30:Beds could have been of a better quality to match the overall excellence of the hotel.
Review 31:Friendly Staff, Clean and comfortable, Excellent breakfast, Lovely gardens.
Review 32:The hotel was on a private road, in a really nice area. Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast ordered to room was fantastic turned up exactly as requested.
Review 33:A lovely old mansion type house, set in fantastic gardens in a private road. Very comfortable and well appointed room of a high standard. The restaurant and breakfast service was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stay.
Review 34:Could not fault this Hotel. The reception staff were exceptional, nothing was to much trouble. Our room was comfortable and the facilities far better than average. Freebies in fridge and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. The Hotel was interesting with immaculate décor. Very clean and tidy. Would book again for longer next time.
Review 35:Loved my stay here - I booked at the last minute and got an excellent rate. Made use of the gym/sauna/pool, was served an outstanding breakfast and was generally treated like a rock star by all of the staff. An excellent experience all round - and a bonus that it's located a block away from my workplace. I hope to visit again soon.
Review 36:Pleasant helpful and efficient staff, delightful, comfortable room, house and garden. Very reasonably priced. Would be very difficult to find fault with anything.
Review 37:Lovely location, not too far from Central London. Beautiful gardens, elegant public rooms, polite attentive staff, even show you to your room, which is a rarity nowadays. Good breakfast. Proper coffee makers in the rooms and quality tea bags, also fresh milk in the fridge.
Review 38:Bar shuts too early - around 10.30am. Breakfast only until 10am at the weekend and check out is 11am, too early for a Saturday.
Review 39:Lovely secluded location, room was very well appointed and comfortable. Nice fluffy towels and bathrobes and great to have fresh semi skimmed milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. All staff extremely attentive, friendly and helpful.
Review 40:The hotel staff were absolutely charming and without exception made us feel really welcome at this sumptious hotel. Superbly comfortable bed in a delightful bedroom in the eves with a view of the gorgeous gardens. So much to choose from at breakfast, which we followed with a meander around the grounds. Set down a private road this hotel is the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby Kingston-upon-Thames.
Review 41:We love staying at Warren House and do whenever we can get a great price from Booking.com. This last time they recognised and upgraded us. The breakfast was even better than usual and we had a perfectly lovely stay. Thank you
Review 42:The restaurant for evening meal was a little too formal - needs to be more relaxed and let customers be rather than fussing around them.
Review 43:Fabulous friendly staff, gorgeous location. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 44:I booked two rooms last Friday to treat my best friend on her 60 birthday. My room was good, but her room was extremely noisy due to the kitchen beneath her room and fans on very late. Then late arrival guests were very noisy. She did not sleep until 5.00 and we hadanearly start next day. So very disappointed.
Review 45:The toilet was not clean. And I had to sit in the tub to take shower as it wasn't fixed on the wall.
Review 46:The front desk is one of the best in the world. The breakfast is delicious. They were kind to server me even I was late. The location is breathtaking. Nice scenery from the road. The house is one of its kind. Very authentic. A must stay.
Review 47:The only negative, and it is a small one, is that there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the wardrobe. I mentioned this at check-out, this was down to a special cleaning agent used to preserve the wood (beautiful wood actually) which they said they'll do something about.
Review 48:- The location, quiet side road in an upmarket area of Kingston - The staff, excellent service, some of the best ever received especially from Amanda at the front desk. - Changed to a bigger double room with bath free of charge - Impeccable room service, delicious dinner menu at a reasonable price too - Stunning value for money for a 4-star mansion house hotel, with genius discount it was cheaper than some "budget" hotels - Superb, will definitely stay again.
Review 49:Late arriving guests at 1.30 am wedding party talking loudly outside our bedroom and then more noisy guests arriving with children!!!
Review 50:Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food, facilities, pool and grounds were brilliant. We were very impressed.
Review 51:Staff were superb and very attentive, rooms were excellent, spotless and well equipped. Restaurant great for a light dinner, as was breakfast. It was a pity it was a one night stop for a theatre visit.
Review 52:Nothing. Everything was perfect
Review 53:The single room was large and comfortable and felt like home The pool was beautiful and warm and the restaurant was excellent. Could not fault my stay.
Review 54:The area for the toilet in the room is cramped at the corner. I prefer a proper shower room, as I had before, instead of shower over the bath. Breakfast time finished a bit too early- at 9.30am. I missed breakfast at 9.45am after a swim.
Review 55:Cleanliness n comfy bed, fresh decor - not over the top, convenience, very friendly n helpful staff.
Review 56:Bed was far too firm for me.
Review 57:The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much when it came to helping me. Food was delicious and delivered to room as requested.
Review 58:Food & drink quite expensive but service very good.
Review 59:Pleasant helpful staff & comfortable room in lovely setting. Good free coffee & soft drinks in room
Review 60:Bit difficult to find especially when dark evening as sat Nav says no access road
Review 61:Nice friendly clean comfortable hotel, food very good, breakfast good Really nice rooms with character
Review 62:Breakfast room service was approx 15mins late & taxi booked didn't arrive (although I can't really blame that on the hotel staff!).
Review 63:Very comfortable, charming room
Review 64:Receptionist when we arrived was a little rude, I don't think she realized she was being rude but it wasn't best welcome. Room was very small and they put us in an inner sort of courtyard type view which was disappointing considering we had booked so far in advance.
Review 65:There was a guy on the front desk who was extremely helpful as we were going to Twickenham and needed to work out the best way to get there, he was also very good in the morning when we were checking out - can't remember his name
Review 66:Despite the beauty of the location, Warren House maintained an extremely welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very warm and the facilities were great. We enjoyed the quiet. Breakfast was top notch!
Review 67:Swimming pool and changing room area are shabby and don't fit the rest of the hotel which is the opposite of shabby! Also some staff leaving the hotel after their shift at around half midnight woke me up as they shouted goodbyes to each other. Not the end of the world but they should have been quieter near the rooms.
Review 68:The staff couldn't have been more friendly, the grounds are stunning, room was lovely with beautiful windows that felt homely not corporate, and we couldn't believe how peaceful and calm it was given its proximity to London. Also the communal areas are beautiful - again an interesting not corporate feel.
Review 69:Was made to feel very welcome. All staff I had contact with were friendly, helpful, and above all, respectful. The grounds are visually stunning. The dining room looks out on an incredible garden setting.
Review 70:slap bang in the middle of the heathrow flight path but not too off putting as there isn't many hotels around there that aren't. Sky light in shower need a clean.
Review 71:great staff best service i have received in over 100 business trips. A real premium feel and very nice finishing touches.
Review 72:The location is so convenient and a short walk to Richmond Park. Very peaceful setting, beautiful building and you wouldn't know you are so close to the main road as no traffic noise. Friendly and clean. Loved it!
Review 73:We stayed for our sixth wedding anniversary and chose this hotel because it was close to home (where we had left our 2 year old daughter with granny). Stunning setting, well appointed room, delicious food, excellent service and unbelievable value on the night we stayed... what a find!
Review 74:On arrival we received a very warm welcome We was given free complimentary drinks as we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff were very attentive. The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning.
Review 75:I loved that the room we had was like our own little house, away from the main building with its own front door. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. The fact it is so close to the beautiful Richmond Park was a definite bonus.
Review 76:Friendliest staff ever, so polite, stunning accommodation with excellent facilities and the restaurant was first class! I'll be returning... soon!
Review 77:The swimming pool was quite small and became deep quite quickly.
Review 78:I loved the scenery provided by the hotel such as the garden. We had a huge room for my 2 friends and I which overlooked the garden and outside dining area. The staff were very polite and helpful. On arrival, my friends and I got lost on the road of the hotel and the receptionist kindly came outside and directed us. There was a homely feel to the hotel which isn't very common. The sauna in the spa was lovely. I cannot wait to revisit as I was very upset to leave.
Review 79:Kingston itself was a but of a problem with road works at the time of our visit so we found it a little hard to find on arrival.
Review 80:Everything was excellent and great value for being where it was
Review 81:Not a bad experience, but menus would suit many people such as my wife betterwith a low at option eg main course salad and fruit salad.
Review 82:Unobtrusive, courteous service in calm environment.
Review 83:Only grumble is the price of drinks, £8.50 for a gin and tonic is a tad steep! Oh and my poached eggs were undercooked.
Review 84:The location was beautiful and the room ideal for my needs.
Review 85:Maybe due to my ignorance, I found reaching the property was challenging.
Review 86:Staff was very accommodating going the extra mile to help. Richmond Park was beautiful.
Review 87:I think Booking.com didn't pass over all the info as we requested a ground floor room with 2 children's beds. The room we were allocated was a (beautiful) loft room which was quite small and no children's beds. The staff were fab though and brought up a z-bed (we also had a travel cot with us so used that). The bathroom only had a shower, which wasn't ideal with 2 young children.
Review 88:The staff are amazing. Everyone we came across treated us like the only people in the hotel, from the cleaners to the managers, we were made to feel amazing. The room was beautiful, the food was great. Really can't fault it.
Review 89:Had to get help to close the curtains. Took three phone calls to Reception, three minutes each, before someone answered. Couldn't be bothered to ring again when I discovered heating didn't work.
Review 90:Beautiful garden, relaxing location. Food was wonderful.
Review 91:Nothing. Would love to visit again
Review 92:Everything. Very clean, welcoming, polite etc. We didn't arrive until 9.05pm after a long journey. But the team were very helpful in making sure we obtained food before the kitchen closed a 9.30pm.
Review 93:Executive room was quite basic and TV not plugged in.
Review 94:Staff were excellent and very informative with local travel and advice Free juice & water in fridge as well as tea and coffee
Review 95:the deal was very competitive and included breakfast which is such a pleasant change to room only - staff really nice and genuine in wanting to assist with your comfort and onward travel etc. would stay again soon
Review 96:Only thing I could say which wasn't the fault of the hotel, was my room was over the garden. Some people were sat out drinking till about 2am laughing which is frustrating when you've to get up early for work.
Review 97:The price for what you got
Review 98:Lovely garden. Great shower. It's a hidden Jem. Very elegant hotel but the staff attitude is very pleasant but not over the top. Very homely indeed. I've had lovely stay.
Review 99:The hotel does not cater for people with a disability. Examples of thisis the lack of a lift and the inability for wheelchairs to be cateredfor. Basically the hotel does not consider the requirements of theDisability Act Legislation.
Review 100:Although not an ideal hotel for one slightly disabled person in myparty the location of the hotel suited us for the reasons we had to bein the area.
Review 101:I couldn't check into my room when I arrived as I was too early, so I asked the receptionist if I could have something to eat - I had to ask numerous times as she didn't answer, and then wasn't very helpful in this - it seemed like I was an annoyance to her.
Review 102:Gorgeous venue and fantastic food
Review 103:the first night I had a room in the annexe, the other two in the main building and I vastly preferred it. One foreign female receptionist tried to be helpful but had a slightly unfortunate manner caused by her language skills ( possibly german first language?) as we were met with the comment "your room of course is not ready yet".Why of course? and she failed to recognise me the day later, small things but the fact I remember them shows that small things matter!
Review 104:peace and quiet and really excellent food for breakfast and dinner
Review 105:Lovely hotel, close to Kingston but with a countryside feel. The bedroom was lovely, comfortable bed and complimentary drinks. The pool was great to relax in before dinner. Wonderful garden too!
Review 106:Third or fourth stay here but best room yet. Very quiet, comfortable room with excellent complimentary bits and bobs. I stay here whenever I'm in SW London. Room 20 was very good.
Review 107:Mattress was very soft and the shower pressure was a little low making hair washing difficult but I do understand the hotel is updating and expanding. I also feel this should never put you off from trying this hotel as it really was excellent in every other way.
Review 108:Lovely location, excellent, efficient, friendly staff, really good facilities. The food was excellent. Room was well equipped and extremely clean.
Review 109:The staff were helpful, welcoming and professional. Facilities were excellent, the property was beautiful and the grounds impressive. This is a really special place.
Review 110:Waited 1hour and half to get into our room. Toilet in our bathroom wouldnt flush after reporting 4 time to reception . Wasn't work when we left hotel.
Review 111:Building and location
Review 112:Getting through Kingston on Thames to get there. Kingston is a disappointment. Great location but bad, crowded roads ( especially on Saturday pm) and tatty buildings back from river. Needs a re build !
Review 113:Location, quality and very good restaurant. Nice gardens and good walks nearby. Great place to stay for visit to Hampton Court
Review 114:Fire alarm going off early - but understand due to health and safety we had to evecuate!
Review 115:Friendly welcoming staff, room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable.
Review 116:Wonderful place to stay. Found this gem of a place by accident. Fantastic value too in comparison to many hotel chains which all look the same. Great welcome and service, lovely staff and beautiful venue. Very convenient for access to work and will be staying again soon.
Review 117:Maybe if anything at all a little more variety on the menu
Review 118:Beautiful old building with lovely staff and a very special ambience. Bedrooms comfortable and clean easy access to the City. Beautiful gardens
Review 119:Nothing at all...
Review 120:Everything about this hotel was extremely well done; a very very good hotel. In fact it has to be the best place we've stayed at in years - can't wait to return!
Review 121:Hotel building had lots of character in a very nice and interesting suburb of Salisbury, allowing for very pleasant evening walk. Evening meal and breakfast were very good.
Review 122:Only the buffet breakfast was a disappointment. Pre cooked fried eggs with a skin on, and tired microwaved bacon.
Review 123:Sounds daft but the real bottle of milk in the mini fridge is inspired! Room 14 was just right with a very comfortable bed, lovely view of the garden, and a brilliant ceiling fan on a muggy night.
