Review 6：We felt Dax was an ideal town to explore the South West by car and using it as a base, we travelled to Biarritz, Lourdes, and the Dordogne using the excellent road network. We prefer to have evening meals in local restaurants and the hotel, being in the town centre, was well placed. We appreciated the gym and terrace (for sunbathing/relaxing) and the staff were extremely helpful. Despite being in the centre, there was a good car park.
