Review 1：We stayed on a Sunday, Staff at the hotel were minimal. We had asked for a table for dinner via the Booking.com web site but was not told the reastuarant was closed on a Sunday. The Bar was also closed. To be fair the receptionist did her best to help but we chose the hotel because of the restaurant. Very disappointing!

Review 3：lack of warmth behind official smiles. Long delay in order being taken for dinner-lack of client attention, but not by the younger staff.

Review 5：Room didn't have a proper shower, rather had a bath with a hand shower attachment. It's a personal opinion but i would always rather shower than bath

Review 7：Our room was up very steep stairs which was difficult with luggage and a dog! We arrived tired and hungry and were unable to be accommodated in the restaurant. The hotel appears to be all about the award winning restaurant but paying hotel guests should not be forgotten. We had to walk the streets looking for somewhere to eat. Not great!

Review 23：Though the hotel has recently been extended (very tastefully) the old attention to detail & customer service is still paramount. The Restaurant is one of the best I've eaten in & the same comment applies as it's been extended drastically (presumably to cope with the increasing number of diners aching for the great produce, wonderful cooking, innovative menus, great presentation & friendly + knowledgeable service
