Review 1：Breakfast could be less expensive. 12 euros per person. You can eat for half of this value close to hotel.

Review 3：Though I felt the hotel was clean overall and I saw and heard the cleaning lady cleaning every single day, I did find some things like a hair on the bed or one stuck in the bath towel. Also found a teeny tiny small little bug in a bathroom drawer that was crawling around on the new toilet paper roll. Also killed an ant in the bathroom. It was very small things, but the kind of things that make me feel a little creeped out about cleanliness. Major thing to note- the walls are THIN. We were able to laugh it off and again I think it added to the ambience of it all, but if you're the type of person that would be bothered by that then I really wouldn't recommend staying here. Lastly, the breakfast is not complimentary. It costs 12 euro and its not good. I'd highly recommend getting your bums up and out to a lovely corner cafe to sit and have a proper meal, cappuccino, maybe a cig if you're feeling bad and enjoy some of the best people watching you could ask for. You're in Paris! Overall I'm glad we stayed there. No regrets here!

Review 4：The location was pretty great. The hotel was tucked away in a little hotel corridor around a few other hotels so it kept a lot of the street noise out- felt safe. It was walking distance from the Gare du Nord train station so if you're taking the Eurostar in its a breeze to get to. Also super close walking distance from a few metro stations. Overall the location was a huge plus. Maybe most important in my opinion. The room and bed were pretty comfortable, though quite small. The entire hotel is tight in fact. My boyfriend likes to say it was "cozy". I liked that we had a little balcony. That was an unexpected plus. I think the combination of this: the locale, the corridor, the quaint/cozy feel, and balcony made it feel sort of romantic for us and very "french". The staff speaks a lot of different languages. My French isn't that great, so a plus there. Though I'm not totally over-the-moon with my value for the money, I also think considering its Paris and the other comparable prices and hotels we found (at last minute) it was probably the most inexpensive we could find for a decent place.

Ochenb good . everything is close by . friendly staffand there is one Russian-speaking girl at the reception, Anastasia. Ifyou have a language barrier it will help you and explain everything.

Review 11：Clean modern room with a great double bed that was very comfortable. Though the room is small (that's what you get for this price range in the middle of Paris), it has all you need in a perfect location. Also, very nice and helpful staff.

Review 12：someone was smoking in room. During all my stay at the hotel it was disgusting to be in the bed, as everything had this terrible smell of cigarettes. I had a headache because of this smell.

The room was barely wider than the average double bed and the bathroom was also very small. The walls were thin so all noises could be heard.

Since I was there for business I and my colleague usually leave the hotel early in the mornings and have our breakfast out before going to work (because my deal with the hotel wasn't breakfast included) One morning I was in a rush and didn't have time to have breakfast outside. At the reception I smelled the wonderful odeur of freshly baked croissants coming from the breakfast room downstairs. And the guy at the reception offered me to bring a few croissants for me to take out. And he did. He was so kind and friendly to offer me croissants. And they were delicious.

Review 29：First night had a room on the 6th floor and the electricity was on temperamental. We complained and were told they were fixing it however it continued and were moved the following day. It obviously wasn't a temporary problem.

Review 37：i visited this hotel just after Xmas time in 2014 and i was very disappointed after my visit. first of all, it is not a 3-star hotel, it is a 2 star motel with poor accommodation. our room was smaller than pictures, the floor had carpet covering, dirty as it was not cleaned for months. the bathroom was also very small, 2 people cannot fit or walk at the same time. we found hair from previous guest in the bath tub. i cannot say it is a safe area, on the way to the hotel, you walk through a little passage and we have seen some guys there hanging and smoking. we had to change our way at night time to avoid passing by them. it didnt look safe at all.. in general, the hotel is over rated from my pov, it is definitely a 2 star hotel, if you consider that, then the prices they have is expensive. unless you are looking for a very cheap, low cost room, dont go there..

Review 38：The rooms are so small and the photos on the website are so deceptive. Barely any room around beds and nowhere really to put your luggage. When I raised this with staff the response was that it's a standard Parisian room but I've been to Paris many times and never had such a small room. The room has things fixed poorly ie lamp shade held together with tape. Bathroom small and mismatched. Wouldn't use this hotel again. Not worth the money. Can get better for same money.

Review 98：I liked my stay at Aston Hotel very much. I was warmly welcomed in the beginning and throughout my stay the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I mostly communicated with Anna and she was just lovely. I was allowed to check in earlier which was very convenient in my case. The room was clean and bright, wi-fi worked very well. It was my first time staying in this area and this location proved to be very good, metro station Grands Boulevards is just 3-4 minutes away. It took me around 20-25 minutes to get from and to Gare du Nord. There are plenty of cafes nearby and Carrefour supermarket across the road. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Review 99：when i was booking a hotel i saw bad reviews about the bathrooms, but i didnt pay much attention too it... but when i was there, omg, bathrooms are like 2 square metres small.. but the worse thing was sound izolation... i literally couldnt sleep beacuse people from the other room were laughing at 4 a.'m. ..you can hear when someone takes a shower from other room..like its raining outside:/ not good.. its one thing being at the hotel.. that its just small and its anoter thin to book a hotel in which you cannot sleep at night beacuse of the noise.
