Reviews for Résidence Club **** MMV Le Hameau des Airelles
Review 1:Very late chackin on our first day at almost 5pm. It was difficult and tiring for us as we had almost 30 hours of travel form Sydney.
Review 2:great staff and location, good time to travel in January as we are here from Sydney
Review 3:10 minute walk to the centre, a 'maze' between the buildings
Review 4:Friendlyness of the staff, Supermarket right below the complex, Nice facilities
Review 5:The building is not well designed. It's difficult to find ones way. there are far too few lifts, we've had to wait as long as 15 mins queuing for a lift, stairs were not an option as some stair doors were locked!!
Review 6:clean place friendly staff
Review 7:check in queue very bad - need to pay extra to check in early (but worth it) Nobody at reception in middle of the day if there is an emergency Dish cloths, tea towels and dishwasher tablets not included - worth bringing
Review 8:Great Value accommodation spacious for the money. Shops next to residence Ski schools and ski bus pick up from here. Fantastic unpretentious resort
Review 9:Beds and pillows terrible
Review 10:Great to have a lounge area and much more space than a hotel room. Terrible pillows - if you're driving then bring your own. Beds very firm and only a few towels and no kitchen cleaning facilities. You'll need to bring your own tea towels/dishwasher tabs/cloths/cleaner etc. local shops really good though - excellent produce at reasonable prices.
Review 11:The spa (Steam Room & Sauna) was quite small (just one of each), to small really for the amount of apartments in the block.
Review 12:Really good value for money compared to many other ski resorts. Good sized rooms, great location close to the town, bars & restaurants, shops and pistes. Friendly helpful staff and a good atmosphere to the place. Well equipped kitchen.
Review 13:Spa facilities a bit of a let down. Jacuzzi not hot enough. Shower didn't work. Steam room needs cleaning up.
Review 14:Very spacious & clean apt. Helpful staff. Parking facilities. Great value for money.
Review 15:Spa is very small and crowded with people. Our room was quite small too
Review 16:Paying 49 euros to park for week!
Review 17:Staff helpful
Review 18:Pool facilities
Review 19:Good size apartment
Review 20:tiny little second bed room.
Review 21:Comfortable living room with clean proper kitchen.
Review 22:small rooms,i don't think that it is 50 sqm as stated.
Review 23:helpful staff, nice pool convenient indoor parking, location, kitchen appliances
Review 24:Closeness to ski slopes
Review 25:Loved these apartments, the best equipped I've stayed in, everything you could wish for.
Review 26:No noise from the other appartments with friendly helpful staff.
Review 27:parking
Review 28:Location, facilities,
Review 29:The Apartment was excellent. We had booked a two bed but received a three bed duplex. Lovely sunny days so used the pool in the evening after skiing. Montgenevre centre could be reached in less than 10 mins walk or by shuttle bus. Supermarket and baker's were just next door. Fabulous Easter break!!
Review 30:The layout was very confusing with several different lift systems. The apartment was rather small despite us having paid extra for a bigger one. Wifi coverage was very limited Not enough room in the ski locker for 3 pairs of skis and boots and we were in an apartment for 6!
Review 31:The property was reasonably new and generally well maintained Location was OK but the resort itself has a very poor layout and linkage between areas, which made the "doorstep skiing" a bit of a stretch.
Review 32:We would have like two toilets in the apartment. Unreliable wifi in the lounge, no wifi in apartment.
Review 33:Ski in and ski out. Swimming pool and hammam. Comfortable beds. Welcome pack with cleaning products. Good kitchen equipment.
Review 34:Wifi in lounge only and very slow. Long queue for check-in.
Review 35:Great size apartment for a French ski resort and at a reasonable price. Very well equipped - loved the dishwasher. Excellent location next to slopes.
Review 36:children not allowed to use any of the free spa facilities. pool water was quite cold. room floor was dusty and generally not so clean. No WIFI in the apartments and lobby area very slow. Check in was crazy, everyone waiting for 5pm to get keys at the same time.
Review 37:Ski in Ski out great. balcony with sunny afternoons was great. the pool worked well. good value for money.
Review 38:The lifts within the building were always full which meant a long wait and were not referenced particularly well so were very confusing. A map and explanation on arrival would help.
Review 39:Close proximity to slopes. Apartments were clean and tidy.
Review 40:The internet does not work in the apartment only at the reception lounges. You also need a different code for each device and a new one every day that you need to queue for at reception. When reception is closed you can't use the internet as you can not have a code. Very annoying system. They should make it easier for the guests to use the internet if they wish to.
Review 41:The location of the residence is excellent and our apartment had a balcony looking straight to the drag lift. The staff was friendly and the residence was very clean and nice. We really enjoyed staying there and will happily book again for next year.
Review 42:Wifi was very intermittent in the sitting room/salon area but this wasn't a problem for us on hols. Reception can get busy, but again, not a big negative.
Review 43:Location was excellent. Pool area was lovely - sometimes busy, but didn't spoil it for us. Staff were helpful, ski hire was close by, as were groceries, and take away evening meals. View from our Apartment were amazing. Beds were comfy, rooms compact but just big enough for the time we were there. kitchen was well equipped....and fondu, raclette in reception if you wanted one! Great family ski resort and handy from Turin airport. Ski lockers were very easy to access from our apartment, and parking was just over the road. This residence has a great chalet feel, at a great price. The log fire in the salon was cosy, as we're the sofas, and the nightly crepes and chocolat chaud pleased the young members of our group. We loved it was ski in ski out! We would not hesitate to return.
Review 44:200 rooms.. !! so long way from reception, pool, spa etc. and always waiting at reception and no good logistics. f.i. parking fully booked in week 7, so we had to use public parking.
Review 45:Nice ski in/out, but at the far eastern end of town, so long walk to restaurants, shopping etc.
Review 46:- Wifi only in lobby, we were in a separate building so we had to go outside first. Same goes for the free spa. - The spa was crowded and water of swimming pool was not very warm, probably because of heavy snowfall. - Personell was not very kind - We had to clean the kitchen to get our deposit back... unpleasant surprise. - The room was for 6, we were with 4, but it was already quite tight room wise.
Review 47:- The apartments are very close to the slopes - The parking garage is very convenient, especially as it snowed a lot.
Review 48:We had problems with accommodation. We arrived in the midnight, and of course, the reception was closed. Despite we asked during booking to inform us, where the key will be left, nobody e-mailed us. The phone number for the late arrivals didn't answer. Suggestion for others: if you plan to arrive late, please ring to the reception during working time and arrange the details of the entrance to your room. Despite the hotel has 4 stars, but there were left much rubbish in the terrace.
Review 49:Excellent location-very close to the slopes. Nice sauna and water pool.
Review 50:No housekeeping. No soap. No toilet paper. I cannot say that the room was clean. They demanded 70 Euro for check in at 11 am! (you must check in at 17:00?!)
Review 51:It's quiet easy to reach pistes. (ski in/ski out)
Review 52:Staff is rude and not welcoming, doesn't speak english. Most of thetime reception is closed. Wifi is very poor.
Review 53:The hotel is clean, located in a good spot at Montgenèvre. Rooms arequite big and cosy.
Review 54:The staff doesn't understand English, was hard to communicate at reception. Free Wi-Fi was poor. Half hour to check one email letter without attachments. WiFi in apartments didn't work, at lounge zone was very slow. The rooms very small. Very little storage space for skier's things. Without drying places at apartments and at ski rooms. Ski boots every morning were wet. Ski room's closet for four skis and for eight boots was very small and all time wet. It's very strange hotel for skiers and for foreign tourists.
Review 55:The location was good. From apartments can go directly on the ski pistes. Kitchen had very well equipped.
Review 56:not all the staff understands English, additional write-off the credit card after the departure without explanation, a rather small time pool - only 3 hours per day, and as a result - and very closely in the sauna and shower, the water in the pool is quite cold.
Review 57:wooden Furniture, location
Review 58:Free Wi-Fi is very poor. Half hour to check one email letter without attachments. English language knowledge at reception is fair.
Review 59:Free pool, sauna, jacuzzi.
Review 60:The staff speaks realy poor english so it is quite hard to comunicate. And also they were not quite frendly so you can forget warm welcome. It is good to know in addvance, that you have to leave the deposite of 400 euros. We have some problems whit that, since our card did not covered additional 400 eur (we solve it whit cash). The saunas and pool were not quite what we were expected (lot of loud people inside), but still nice. There is realy slow wifi, which we also caought in our appartment but could barely use it (in the lounge it was also slow). And realy small beds (saying two pesons around 180 cm tall). Other than that we enyoj our stay.
Review 61:The ambient is realy nice. Kitchen is verry well equipped. The view from appartment is great. Also the location of appartment (to get on the ski pistes) is great. Prices in lokal stores are reasonable. Skiing pistes are amazing (a lot of natural snow). Pool and saunas included in the price.
Review 62:No wifi in apartments and free wifi in lounge wasn't working. Not really a big problem!
Review 63:Very Friendly and helpful staff. We were given an upgrade to a bigger apartment as we had a sick child and our one wasn't ready (due to us trying to check in early). Couldn't believe it, how lovely of the lady at check in! Fabulous apartments, very well equipped. Fantastic location, fantastic hotel, everything you could possibly need and more and for an affordable price. Would highly recommend this hotel and plan to go back!
Review 64:Our flat was not very clean, the path to the main building was covered in snow that at some point transformed to ice with some risk of a bad fall if you were not careful (the could try to remove it or throw some grit/salt). It is still surprising to me that people that work in tourism still do not speak English (I am Italian!)... Given also the closeness to the Italian border it was also surprising that only one could speak Italian. The wi-fi connection is a bit awkward and the internet speed is slow: do not plan to work in the evening...
Review 65:Staff was very kind and tried their bes to get us to feel at home. The residence is very close to the slopes and in fact you can almost ski to the front door of the residence. you can book your bread and croissants in the evening and collect them for breakfast. From time to time they sell cheese and sausages in the main hall.
Review 66:Wifi in lounge very very slow. Small jacuzzi always full throughout the day. Spa doesn't open till 10.
Review 67:Very close to piste. Lovely warm and well equipped apartment.
Review 68:Not a lot.
Review 69:Unbelievably good value (we went at the start of the ski season), I had to double check my invoice several times, especially after lounging in the heated swimming pool with the mountains and stars all around. Beautiful.
Review 70:We arrived a bit late and found the reception closed and they left us a note on the door what to do but it was in French and took us some time to understand what to do!
Review 71:The location is great and the rooms are very comfortable
Review 72:Checking in was chaotic with the staff asking for a voucher that we hadnot recieved. It also took a ridiculous amount of time! We wereallocated a parking space but then told to park any where as people justparked where they liked.
Review 73:Very close to the slopes and a warm comfortable apartment
Review 74:The beds were woefully uncomfortable
Review 75:Spa too small as only open 3.5hrs a day
Review 76:Ski in - Ski Out
Review 77:Parking charges Bunk beds not twin beds Not much snow!!!!
Review 78:Kitchen facilities Decor and resort facilities Comfortable beds
Review 79:No access to internet in the room
Review 80:Good sized appartment, well appointed for the price pool and spa added value
