Reviews for Almazara
Review 1:The place was very run down. The pool was beautiful but needed some attention as did all the sun chairs and other equipment.
Review 2:The location was in a peaceful spot, really away from it all in rural Spain.
Review 3:The restaurant could do a bit better (quality of meat) and does not really merit the 4 stars.
Review 4:Swimming Pool, spacious room, splendid nature, relaxing atmosphere. What else do you need for a little break from business life?
Review 5:AC in our room did not work also the WiFi which is pretty inexcusable these days. Breakfast could have been a lot better. Not much choice.
Review 6:Quiet with a nice big pool, not good for swimming though , far too shallow. First room lovely, big, able to sit outside but AC did not work. They quickly moved us to another room at 22:30 hours as we could not sleep in room at 30 deg. The temp outside was warmer than inside so no good opening the windows which would otherwise have been ideal.
Review 7:We were there towards the end of the season so everything was beginning to look tired.
Review 8:This hotel is only open in the summer and provides a restful venue to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. o be recommended for this. Easy access to motorways for driving to Granada, Cordoba, Seville and so on.

Review 18:I liked the location, very spacious and comfortable room, excellent staff, lovely swimming pool.
Review 19:When we arrived at 14:00 there was no staff other than the manager. Somestaff arrived at 16:30 just before a French tour bus. After breakfastthe following morning the staff disappeared returning at the same timeas yesterday, just before the next French tour bus. Through the day wenever encountered any other guests until the tour bus arrived. Theadvertised hotel facilities were not available to us. The hotel charged10 Euros a night for our small dog but there were no bins to put the"doggy" bags. The tv didn't work when we arrived, thefridge never worked, the toilet seat was broken, only 2 hangers in thewardrobe, all of which were reported to reception.
Review 20:The was in a quiet location, the occasional train was not a particularproblem, nor was the faint hum of the traffic on the Autovia. The viewfrom the hotel was spectacular. The walk down to the charming village orRio Frio was pleasant, although the climb back up to the hotel was astrain for my wife. As a one night stopover it was adequate, but thethree nights we stayed were 2 too many.
Review 21:- Pool and garden of very, very poor quality (not maintained anymore?!) - Very small, separate beds - Shower hardy working - Toilet stopped flushing at our last day - Very old tv: no video, only audio was working - WiFi was never working from within the room (only within reach from the reception or the restaurant) - The pictures on the website only show how it, probably, once was. But this must have been a long time ago.
