Reviews for Le Mas de Plein Pagnier
Review 1:Le Mas du Plein Pagnier has everything to make your stay superb. Beautiful and very peaceful location, in the middle of the vineyards, with a view on the Ventoux. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast with home made products is just delicious. Their wine is excellent. Last but not least, for cyclists who are looking for a nice warm-up in the countryside before climbing the Ventoux, this is the ideal location! When i go back to the Provence and the Ventoux, i will for sure stay in the Plein Pagnier again! Merci beaucoup Geneviève et Edouard!
Review 2:Lacked enough cutlery, bowls and microwave proof dish. We got by, but €30 at Ikea would solve the problem. We had a car and I think this would be essential.
Review 3:This property is located on a working farm and has wonderful views of Mt Ventoux and the surrounding countryside. The loft was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hosts are happy people who go out of their way to make you welcome and spoke good English. We stayed 6 days and only scratched the surface of places to visit and will definitely stay at this property again. Be sure to taste the wine, jams and honey.
Review 4:Maybe the bed was al little too small, but we managed it...
Review 5:The beautiful surroundings and the quietness. Wonderful view at the Mont Ventoux and the grapevines.
Review 6:Gracious and helpful hosts. Spacious apartment with large terrace overlooking vineyard, olive and cherry trees. Beautiful sunsets. Peaceful country location. Well situated for day trips to nearby villages. Daily visits from Zebulon the cat. Wonderful wine, cherries, cherry juice, and jam. Friendly fellow guests. Mazan, a lovely town to explore, has U Express for groceries, a friendly pizzeria, and other restaurants.
Review 7:nothing
Review 8:Very cosy house in the middle of beautiful Provance fields. Close to Beduan and magical Mont Ventoux. Clean room and close area, comfortable, very outgoing owners. Good free Wi-Fi. Wish to visit this place again :-)
Review 9:We loved the owner and her family. Our room with a kitchenette, faced onto a their beautiful vineyard and hills beyond. They were so much fun. We had a wine tasting in their tiny room and like the wine alot. Would love to go back and stay longer.
Review 10:Nothing - any requests / issues were resolved immediately as soon as we raised them with our hosts.
Review 11:Lovely, friendly, obliging hosts, generous breakfast served at a time of our choosing and flexible arrival and departure times offered to us. Nothing was too much trouble! Hoping to return to enjoy the wine tasting offered at Plein Pagnier.
Review 12:very helpful and sincere stuff (owners) wonderful view (you should experience sunset beside the vineyard on your terrace) around 30 mins. away from popular historic places (by car)
Review 13:I can't think of anything that we didn't like there, maybe the fact the we staid just 5 nights :).
Review 14:There were lot's of things we liked starting with location, quite isolated from the main road with a view over the grapes fields. The apartment was very comfortable and nice decorated, clean, and WIFI excellent. What i liked the most was the owner, Madam Genevieve. She could be quite an example for the other people in this industry. Madam Genevieve made this amazing fruit marmalade. At breakfast, which we had in her kitchen, she served 5 types, they were all delicious, my favourite was the one from figs. If you go there you must try the wine they made too. Oh, and if you are a animal lover that you will enjoy the company of this funny cat that came to dinner every night, we really enjoyed playing with him. Just FYI, this location is actually out of Mazan. You drive 1,5 km via Momoiron and on the right side of the road there will be a big banner with Plein Pagnier, then you drive another 200m and take the small road on the left side - you will see a small sign. Enjoy it.
Review 15:A winefarm in the middle of the vineyards. I had a superb view of the mont Ventoux from my porch. Just 10 km. from Bedoin which made it an excellent base to start my ride from. Not untill after I was served breakfast though, and what an amazing spread was laid out for me. I plan to return to the region as i found out there is plenty more excellent cycling to be done besides the Ventoux itself and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
Review 16:By the end of our long motorcycle trip we took a break and spent two lovely days surrounded by a beautiful scenery and a lot of sunshine. The room was very clean, fresh, vivid and cosy with all the necessary facilities. The view of the vineyard was amazing! The local wine Plein Pagnier was even more amazing! Our host Geneviève was very friendly and showed us great hospitality. After a good night of sleep in a quiet and peaceful environment we had breakfast and great coffee in a beautiful garden. This was the right place to stay at and collect enough energy to ride towards Mont Ventoux... It's worth mentioning – my motorbike was parked on a safe spot right next to the entrance door...
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:The hospitality of Genevieve and her family and also the cat Zebulon. The beautifull view over the vineyard which we enjoyed accompanied by a very good 'homemade' wine. Our room was totally renewed and very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast outside under the three at the big table it was lovely.
Review 19:Wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 32:Excellent breakfast, very friendly.
Review 33:The location of Le Mas de Plein Pagnier takes a lot of beating, set in vineyards at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Our room was beautifully modern, spotlessly clean and furnished with some charming touches. It had a super shower room. The small terrace had table and chairs allowing us to enjoy two glorious evenings with a bottle of local wine and cheese, watching the sun set behind Mont Ventoux! The owner is very friendly and provides a tasty breakfast that incorporates lots of produce from the surrounding farm. We ate in the charming main house, but it is also possible to sit in the gardens. The small pool is no doubt welcome in the hot summer months. Be warned though that it is not very easy to spot the Plein Pagnier’s small sign on the main road and the steep driveway is best accessed from the West. There is ample parking but we arrived in a classic car and were a little concerned about ground clearance. In the event it was fine, with care. But, a super “chambre d’hote” that we would certainly return to.
Review 34:The venue was beautiful - stunning views over the vineyards & Mt Ventoux as well as really quiet & peaceful. The little studio was perfect - spotlessly clean & a lovely size. Mazan is only 3km away & is ideal to visit to buy food or try out one of their cafes or restaurants. this was one of our favourite places we visited!!
Review 35:The owner is a gem, super friendly and hospitable. The property is on an organic olive and cherry farm, with views of mt ventoux. It was a really beautiful location. Room was newly fitted and comfortable. The room rate was also very reasonable esp since it included a very decent breakfast in the owner's house next door.
Review 36:Nothing, everything was perfect!
Review 37:The location was absolutely perfect. It's so quiet and thesurroundings (vineyards, olive trees, the Mont Ventoux in thebackground) are beautiful. There's a nice swimming pool with again abeautiful view and last but not least: the hosts are really nice. Weimmediately felt at home with them and they were very open about theirwork and life, their plans for the future. We wish them all the best andlook forward to returning!
Review 38:Excellent place to sleep in! You don't have to worry about anything, just enjoy the typical provencal scenery from your room, satisfy your appetite with homemade breakfast, and feel very special with such a warm welcome.
