Reviews for Casa Rural Los Cuatro Caños

Review 1:Very interesting house with many unique features; charming host, no comforts lacking and only five minutes walk from the finest Tapas Bar I have ever encountered.

Review 2:We spent our last overnight of our European tour in Sigüenza, we found the the Hotel to be comfortable and central, although they have no bar or restaurant you are only a stones throw from many superb eating and drinking establishments. We ate at a friendly fantastic tavern Gurugu de la Plazuela up near the castle, great food at a very reasonable price.

Review 3:no aircon, noise from adjoining rooms kept us awake, but we were moved to another room ,nobody in reception, we had to wait until the owner turned up

Review 4:nice location, good breakfast

Review 5:Some help up the stairs with the suitcase would have been nice, I was recovering from a broken ankle.

Review 6:It's worth visiting just for the breakfast - no need to eat for the rest of the day.

Review 7:We liked the way the owners have incorporated the old elements of the building into the new construction and the many antique decorations--a beautiful blend of old and new. Our room and bathroom were spacious and lovely and had all modern conveniences. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious and the owners gracious and helpful.

Review 8:No phone so need to work out check in but came after siesta and all good.

Review 16:Wonderful breakfast included in the room rate.

Review 17:The manager was not on hand to check in guests until after 5pm, posing achallenge to we weary travelers. But he was nice, and helpful aboutdinner spots and sightseeing destinations.

Review 18:The Casa was in an excellent location. Very nice and comfortable. Theincluded breakfast was excellent!

Review 19:Nothing to dislike at this fabulous accommodation.

Review 20:Excelente! Everything. This was our second visit. Wonderful accommodation and a very special host. Excellent location close to the town. Lovely rooms. Great Breakfast. This hotel has my 100% recommendation.

Review 21:The breakfast toast was a little too well toasted.

Review 22:The hotel was an old, historic building but with all the modern amenities. Its location in Sigüenza was centralized, easy access to all points of the town. The host was helpful and welcoming and warm. The breakfast was really great! We even had pancakes. The home made strawberry jam was a hit with the kids!

Review 23:The kind and accommodating staff are the highlight of this hotel. We reserved a superior room which was spacious and charming with a wonderful surprise - a wood burning stove - delightful.

Review 24:Unfortunately, we visited the town coincidentally with their festivities and we could not slept much as the music band passed by several times at night time. Next time, we will check this before booking because otherwise, the stage was very good.

Review 25:The house and rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The house in very nicely decorated and the breakfast delicious.

Review 26:We had to leave so soon!

Review 27:From beginning to end. Email was great - I set this up from California. Better than expected. Hosts were fantastic - especially trying to deal with our group that even Spanglish was a challenge! Lovely rooms. We had 5 of them - everyone liked their room! Always a pleasure to hear since I set up all the hotels on our 3 week trip. Town is lovely and easy to walk to bars, restaurants, parks, shops, castle, etc. We have NO complaints and we voted this stopover our favorite overall. That includes the city itself, restaurants, hotel, sights, etc. We headed into town for a cold drink after arriving on motorcycles (yes, very motorcycle friendly) and even had a local come over to our table and tell us about the town, sights, and local restaurants for dinner!!! Very friendly and welcoming!! Cathedral and castle definitely worth visiting.

Review 28:The walls of the rooms were too thin, we could perfectly hear we the other guest while we were in the toillet or in their bedroom. It was unpleasant and embarrasing.

Review 29:Very convenient location. No problem to park the car and walk to the castle or to the restaurants area.

Review 30:Walls were a bit thin! There is now a sign in English advising that a phone call to the owner is necessary to get in - he was only 5 mins away so not a problem.

Review 31:Lovely old building that has been beautifully restored. Interesting bedroom with small verandah. Nice bedding! 5 mins. walk to centre of interesting city. As previous comments state - excellent breakfast including scrambled egg, crepes and cake! All served at the table in very pleasant dining room. Would definitely recommend this small hotel.

Review 32:Hard to understand how to get in, it was festival day so may have been the problem. Notice in English on door would help - Little English spoken, so be patient if you have no Spanish. Friendly people non the less.

Review 33:Nice quality and standard of decor. Pleasant town.

Review 34:Sound insulation a little lacking so rooms are somewhat noisy.

Review 35:Delightful room, well presented. Excellent breakfast. Well situated in an historic city.

Review 36:The only thing is that the walls are a bit thin, but that is the case in most hotels in Spain. Don't let this keep you from staying in such a lovely place in Siguenza!

Review 37:We had a wonderful overnight stay! The rooms are well decorated, there are even wood stoves in some of the rooms, everthing was clean, and the breakfast was amazing! The owners were very friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Review 38:We had to go 2 doors down to be let in. We could have done it by phone if my spanish was better.

Review 39:We had the room at the front on the first floor it was large with a coffee table and 2 easy chairs, as well as the radiators there was a large stove in the corner. The breakfast was large and mostly homemade.

Review 40:We were the only ones at the hotel and we never actuallly saw the ownerwho left key with good.a neighbour. Brekfast was late and not very

Review 41:Wonderful location and restored sensitively

Review 42:No staff on site and she was difficult to reach; no sense of ownership in managing the hotel.

Review 43:Spacious, quiet, clean, nicely decorated accommodationand the room had a lovely balcony overlooking a garden area.

Review 44:We loved the town, which is full of historic buildings including the impressive fortress and cathedral. A very relaxing place to stay, and worth spending more than one night to give time to explore the surrounding countryside.

Review 45:Clean, very clean. Very well decorated and friendly owners. Breakfast was fantastic. Not typical huge buffet. actually they serve you the breakfast dish by dish. But it was fantastic. Relaxful. Sigüenza souroundings are great.

Review 46:The restaurant kind of cold in the morning
