Review 6:We booked for a room in the hotel, knowing the attractive location. We were put in the annex which was in a dark back street and depressing. The annex was also dark and depressing and rather run down.

Review 7:The way we were treated.Having informed the Manager we required an evening meal on arrival at the Hotel, when we turned up for our meal we were told there was no room in the restaurant as the people in the terrace had priority as it was raining, she did offer us a place in the breakfast room,to eat our evening meal.

Review 8:Nothing good about this Hotel

Review 9:Excellent position for picturesque, French town centre with good restaurants nearby. All staff friendly and helpful as were local residents we chatted to during our stay (our poor French was helped along by locals).

Review 10:The overnight garage and the breakfast

Review 29:Not much I don't like here, As it's my sort of place for an overnight stop.

Review 30:Traditional old school French hotel With charm and good restaurant. Secure car parking available for modest supplement. Very spacious bedrooms.

Review 31:Central hotel - dog friendly (we have two) and offering very good food. Staff efficient and friendly. We could have paid to park in the hotel garage for 9 euros but found street parking nearby.

Review 36:Very good menu excellently presented. Well-priced place to stayif splitting journey from Calais to the Alps. Historic town.Stunning abbey.

Review 37:Restaurant in the Hotel was a little expensive.

Review 38:Our room was huge and had a view over the main street. This was not a problem as it was very quiet in the evenings. Friendly staff.

Review 39:A visit to Logis Hôtel De La Paix feels like a pleasant trip down the memory lane in French country hospitality. Here you will find a time-proven mix of informal reception, courtesy, slightly dated decor and a touch of culinary excellence in a small family-run hotel in a splendid old town, all of which is likely to put you at a wonderfully relaxed frame of mind. The hotel restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Burgundy and the mijotée de joue de boeuf should not be missed by anyone taking even a rudimentary interest in "la cuisine". Oh yes, no elevators, spatious corridors or large bathtubs. But even without them, you will think fondly of your stay.

Review 40:Rooms are basic by some standards but do the job well. Breakfast veryFrench - but ok.

Review 41:Location to town and river are both excellent Food, as you might expectfrom acclaimed chef is excellent too. Covered parking good to have(reserve is best)

Review 42:The decor was a little dated, and the shower, although powerful and with plentiful hot water, had a broken head. Minor details compared with location, price and comfort.

Review 43:The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is obviously run as a family business, with the commitment that involves. The location is fabulous, in a beautiful, quiet and atmospheric town on the Saone. We stayed in the annex which was especially peaceful.

Review 44:As this is a two star hotel, one does not expect an elevator. However for a couple nearing aged 70, the walk up and down to the top floor required a bit of effort, although the manager helped us carry our bags up to the room. Our room itself was small but adequate for a one- or two-night stay.

Review 45:The young woman who manages the hotel with her partner is a one-woman show. She runs the reception desk, works in the dining room, directs guests to the parking area, serves as the "bellboy", gives tourist information and makes phone calls for the guests and still finds time to help them with any wifi problems they may be experiencing. Often she has to deal with several guests at the same time, which she does with charm and good humor. For my wife and me, she was the hotel and the main reason we would recommend it to others.

Review 46:We used the hotel as an overnight stop as part of our holiday, we found the hotel to be comfortable offering everything we required and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Review 47:Didnt expect the annexe to be so far from main hotel
