Reviews for Moulin Sainte Anne - B&B and Gîtes

Review 1:There is nothing to dislike about such an enchanting place. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and well situated - in close proximity to key attractions. Just a general comment for those visiting the city of Grasse -- taxi fares are ridiculously expensive. Looking forward to seeing Uber expand their operations in this part of the world!

Review 2:The staff's attentiveness exceeded my expectations as well as the ambience and immaculate cleanliness.

Review 3:Very nice location and clean B&B. The owners are welcoming and take their time to help. Wonderful stay in a historical building. We would love to come back again....

Review 4:There was nothing remotely negative.

Review 5:Owners are lovely people and very welcoming. The room was huge, with genuine sitting space. The moulin and its grounds are a haven of peace and tranquillity, and close to Grasse town centre. Well worth every euro.

Review 6:No wifi in the rooms, no comfortable relaxing lounge area inside or outside, grounds need more maintenance

Review 7:Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed, easy parking

Review 8:A mosquito in the night. But I caught him.

Review 9:Very tiny old oil mill with rural atmosphere, completely renewed, respecting the structure of the building and the remaining parts of the mill, a museum!!

Review 10:We liked everything.

Review 11:David and his family are fantastic hosts. The place is absolutely quite, charming and romantic. The room was large, with beautyful furiture, nicely decorated and perfectly clean. We received a wonderful breakfast with fruits from the garden.

Review 12:A beautiful place, a little paradise! The owners were very helpful and friendly. We regretted not having spent more time here, we would really love to come back one day.

Review 13:Very beautiful yard and rooms. Had a wonderful experience talking to owner. The owner speaks very good English (well he is from England) and would like to provide help for my stay in Grasse.

Review 14:Apart from the lovely historic mill house the main feature is the charm of David and Audrey the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we were both made to feel very valued.

Review 15:Ideally situated for our first visit touring the region, within easy striking distance of the Cote D'Azur and some epic scenery. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the room excellently appointed.

Review 16:You need a car to get here and move around.

Review 17:We were warmly welcomed by hosts and felt like coming to a friend's place. David introduced us the old oil mill and told about the history of the place. The room was really big with a comfortable bed and a spaceous bathroom. Nicely restored while maintaining the atmosphere of the old mill.

Review 18:Lovely place, the garden is really pretty and the building fabulous. The rooms are huge and very nicely furnished. We were there with rain and we loved it anyway, but we want to go back in the summer: must be fantastic! And the family is really nice and makes you fell at home.

Review 19:Cards not accepted for payment on departure was very inconvenient for a large sum on money. Difficult access to road. Entry and exit dangerous

Review 20:Very tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. Friendly staff.

Review 21:We loved it all

Review 22:We stayed for two nights in this lovely place. We loved everything: the big rooms, The beautiful bath, the great , breakfast And the wonderful owner. We'll remember this special place for a long time.

Review 23:No TV in the room, tea and coffee was given on request which was needed as there was no bar facility.

Review 24:The Moulin Sainte Anne is different and has a lovely setting so lovely to enjoy breakfast in the garden area which is so pretty. Lovely to look at the workings of the old olive mill and see the old photographs.

Review 25:The Moulin Sainte Anne, Grasse is a really wonderful place to stay. We arrived in mid of July 2014 for a 3 days stay only, as we did another 14 days trip thafter visiting various lovely places and villages in the provence area and at the cote dázure. We received an indeed very warm welcome by Mrs. Walter and her son Ludovic; it felt we arrived like friends who stayed at the Moulin already a couple of times before. We enjoyed Mrs. Walter and Ludovic´s very warm hospitality in an fantastic and unique atmosphere. The mill, as shown and introduced upon our arrival by Mrs Walter, is perfectly restored with a fine sense and a great love to detail; in fact the mill still has the facilities to be operational again. The breakfast on the terrace with a splendid view to a huge and nice garden area was fabulous as we enjoyed excellent coffee, fresh baguettes and croissants and a wide choice of cheese. The accomodation itself is more than perfect. Our room was comfortable and really huge ( like an appartment even ) with stone walls and a refurbished antique furniture. The bathroom is highly sophististicated with crystalline designer washstands and bath tub incl. shower cubicle. Very important to mention the indoor temperature in the room was less than 22 degrees centigrades whilst the outdoor temp during our stay was still above 35 degrees centigrades in the shades. During our round-trip at various other places and resorts in Southern France we actually missed this wonderful location and accomodation of the Moulin Sainte Anne; the Moulin Sainte Anne had been our high-light during our round-trip and deserves the highest recommendation that can be given. For sure, we shall be coming back again very soon.

Review 26:Nothing

Review 27:The mill has been restored to a fantastic standard with great character and lovely grounds. In a great quiet location but only a short distance from central. The room we stayed in was huge, Walter and his family were great hosts and would highly recommend! Hopefully we'll be able to return soon.

Review 28:The accommodation was fantastic- a very spacious room with an excellent ensuite bathroom. It is a very peaceful place to be and a lot of work has gone into both the architecture and interior decor.

Review 29:The hosts made us feel so at home and were really helpful with things to do and getting around!

Review 46:very friendly service in beautiful setting

Review 48:The refurbished oil mill

Review 49:That is what you are exactly waiting of Province! In my opinion, being in Province, it makes no sense to stay in a city, all the more in a standard hotel. It's much more better to stay in some cosy family hotel "outside civilization" to take real pleasure of Province spirit. Here you can be a lazy one: to sit at the terrace or near small pool with a cup of coffee and just breathe with the smell of flowers and fresh grass. Or you can run over the lawn with two friendly dogs (as you are a child) :) And surely you should take a car or taxi to visit Grass, Mougins and other charming villages, each with their own individuality. Moulin Ste Anne is incredible hotel! Its charming owners have done such a huge job to restore it but preserve its old spirit! Here, you feel to be back in time... I am very impressed! Thanks a lot!
