Reviews for Villa Caroline

Review 1:Hallway smelled intensely of cat urine. Quirky room decor. Breakfast was offered from 09:00. I mentioned I had to leave earlier than this but this was ignored by the hostess.

Review 2:Location.

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:French class and the most comfortable bed in the northern hemisphere. Outside you might wonder but step in and your in classic vintage France. Quirky but wonderful and a short walk to the huge beach, seafood heaven and wonderful wines

Review 5:Nothing.

Review 6:Friendly, personal service, with beautifully decorated and equipped bedroom. Our room even contained a small, interesting library! Breakfast was in the continental style and of the highest quality with local and home made ingredients.

Review 7:Check-in at 17 is a bit too late. Wi-fi is very slow. Payments only in cash. A cat lives in the house so be carefull if you have allergies.

Review 8:Wonderful breakfast with home-made jams, yogurts, French cheese. etc. Warm attitude, small talks in French with the owner, a very comfortable bed, a small balcony and a fresh air in the room, a powerful shower just like in spa. Free parking few steps away, on side streets.

Review 9:A great deal of miscommunication regarding our reception when we arrived, finding our booked room, (three rooms tried before finding the one we were supposed to be in) and after our stay, receiving an email confirming that we had been a "no-show"! No acknowledgement of our payment to the accomodation when we left. The room and bathroom were generally good although I would have expected the bathroom towels to have been changed at least once during 4 days, especially when it was obviously needed. On the last day, our room had not been serviced and the bed was left unmade. Rather spoiled what had been a nice stay.

Review 10:Great location for this property, very close to the beach and town, with great access to restaurants and bars. Very comfy bed and good shower. Nice breakfast, prettily presented. Quirky and "artsy" decor, pretty and unusual.

Review 11:Separate loo without a wash basin Traffic noise but unavoidable in such a central location

Review 12:Host (Caroline?) very helpful and friendly Fabulous breakfast with home produce Gorgeous bedroom with small balcony

Review 13:Seagulls screaming at night, a somewhat narrow bed for 2 persons in Venice room.

Review 14:Venice room is awesome: feels like a museum or palace; excellent breakfast with home-made food; nice personnel; great location. Gives you the idea of living a la francaise.

Review 15:We stayed for 2 nights. Our room wasn't serviced and we didn't get new towels.

Review 16:nice shower and good bed

Review 17:Welcome and friendly owner, very good location.

Review 18:It has a great location, a beautiful room, and overall, it was quite lovely

Review 19:It does warn you that there is no parking and during busy periods verylittle road parking nearby. The car park opposite gets very busy aswell, we had to walk a fair distance when we arrived but worth it!

Review 20:Lovely homely feel, very French and quaint. The room was beautifullydecorated and the en-suite and toilet very clean and modern. Thecontinental breakfast was excellent and the table very prettily dressed. The two ladies were very helpful and attentive.

Review 21:Lovely decor in the Indian style room where we stayed. Each of the four rooms has a different theme. Super breakfast prepared by a very welcoming host.

Review 22:Our room was not very spacious and bed was small.

Review 23:Very good location about 200 mns from the harbour. Quiet and nice house, well maintained. Very friendly owners.

Review 24:A nice hotel with a cosy atmosphere.

Review 25:Sceams of seagulls each early morning.
