Hotel L' Ancolie sits at the foot of the slopes and ski-lifts of the Orres Ski resort. Rooms overlook the slopes and the valley with Lake Serre-Ponçon.

Review 1：Great people running this very nice hotel - very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Review 2：The price was a bit steep for a small room in a 2 star hotel. I hadbooked for one person, but due to unforseen circumstances I had to addone more guest so that we were 2 in the room; they charged an additional40€ / night for this.

Review 4：Good location at the ski station. Very helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable and larger than expected. The breakfast was adequate, but the dinners were very good. An excellent place to stay

Review 5：Really minor point but there was nothing we didn't like, however, breakfast could be improved with some hot food or some additional cold cuts of meat, but very minor point really, as everything really was first class and very typical of continental breakfast in european hotels.

Review 6：Location is superb, right beside the ski lifts. The place is spotlessly clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The owners couldn't be of more help and the chef is an amazing cook. We had the good fortune to enjoy his Christmas Eve and New Years Day dinners and they were excellent. They had been fully booked for New Year dinner but between teh chef and the owners they fitted us in and the 4 hour multi course dinner was an experience in itself. If it all sounds too good, not a bit of it, we have travelled the world on business and this small hotel is a little gem.
