In a scenic location in the Gosau Valley, at the foot of the Dachstein Mountain and 3.1 miles from Lake Gosau, Hotel Sommerhof is a family-run 4-star hotel with a restaurant, spa area, and free WiFi access.
The 1,000 m² garden features an outdoor pool heated throughout the year, a children’s playground with a trampoline, a bouncing castle, and a sunbathing lawn with sun loungers. For children aged 2 and older, Sommerhof offers free child care and a children’s club. Babysitting is available at a surcharge.
Spa facilities include 2 saunas for adults, a children’s sauna, and a hot tub. A sun bed and a selection of massages are available at an additional cost.

Review 1：It cud be a bit more light in the rooms

Review 2：We arrived late in the evening, at 21.00 with 2 sleeping kids. Kitchen was closed. Only bar was open, but the personell cooked hot sandviches and salad for us. That was really great. And the next day when we travelled to Dachtein, very nice girl on reception offered us 2 pairs of warm gloves for our kids (4 and 8 years old) that was very helpful later on the mountain.

Review 9：Dinner table setting is a serious point of attention for hotel staff because they were trying to put my family in the middle of a corridor with many guests walking around me. Staff was trying to keep service simple for THEM but table location was very bad for ME ! STAFF should have MORE training in hospatality how to please NEW GUESTS ! They should change ALL rooms with modern card door locks and to get rid of the heavy old fashioned keys.

Review 11：Wifi was poor and communicating in English was a bit of a struggle with the staff. There is no air conditioning and no mesh screens to keep the bugs out of the room. No biggie though

The best part is the view overlooking the mountains and the fresh air that comes with being in a smaller town. Would love to stay there again
