Reviews for Hotel Le Central

Review 1:The room smelled a bit of stale smoke.

Review 2:Welcoming staff, traditional French Hotel & Brasserie with nice refurbishment, comfortable, modern and clean rooms. Great restaurant and food. Outdoor heating seating in the winter too.

Review 3:The hotel is pretty old, and since is situated exactly above the brasserie, the smell of the kitchen is everywhere, room included.

Review 4:The position is great to explore the town, you are in the city center.

Review 5:Was not aware reception closes at 20.00 and nearly missed receptionist with the key to the garage. Quite difficult to stop nearby the hotel as it is very central and the main door, leading to the reception which is on the first floor over the restaurant, is on a pedestrian only street.

Review 6:Lovely bedroom décor, clean, spacious room. We had a family room (which had two double beds and two tv sets). t would be rather difficult to get to room with large suitcases as corridors are rather narrow and the lift does not go to certain floors. We had room 405. Continental breakfast is served in a very atmospheric bar/breakfast room.

Review 7:The noise early in the morning due to suppliers that are delivering their goods to snackbars, restaurants,... (even on 4th floor). Poor breakfast even more expensive than some breakfast offered around the courner in a bar ?!

Review 8:Friendly, helpful reception. Clean rooms, shower,... As the noun of the hotel says: ' Le Central' location.

Review 9:We found no fault with this lovely Hotel.

Review 10:The room was large, well appointed with great finishing touches. The bathroom with separate shower was large and very clean. Superb seafood oriented restaurant. Staff were helpful and very polite throughout our stay.

Review 11:if there has to be something then it would be the inability to make a cup of tea in the morning when you wake up

Review 12:Great location, lively and above a fabulous restaurant

Review 13:Nothing.

Review 14:A very French experience ,stylish , great atmosphere, lovely old building, breakfast room ,very good décor, service excellent , good breakfast . A total air of efficiency, we will definitely return. The restaurant underneath very good also ,you don't have to look anywhere else once settled in.

Review 15:They promote their parking in tiny boxes, while public parking is free from 7pm till 9am, so basically we paid 2 extra hours in the morning, around €2

Review 16:Location across the fish market, fresh seafood downstairs, the name says for itself, very central indeed, good value for money, 2min drive from Deauville beaches

Review 17:Bit noisy early in morning but bearable some staff rude because of language barrier.

Review 18:Spacious clean beautiful decoration breakfast ok . Short 5 min walk to lovely beach

Review 19:Smell from the restaurant below. No lobby. Parking only for small cars and difficult to reach through pedestrian streets.

Review 20:Position across the Fish Market if you like oysters. Restaurant of the Hotel is good.

Review 21:the double bed is small and not comfortable

Review 22:Nice and friendly staff

Review 23:The room was to our taste. The location was great. The staff were particularly helpful and accommodating.

Review 24:Good service. Nice Meals. Cosy room

Review 25:nothing

Review 26:Location right on the front by the fish market. Lovely lady on reception. The room was nice.

Review 27:Wonderful location, excellent facilities and lovely friendly staff.. Can't fault it!

Review 28:Access Fish Smell from the restaurant

Review 29:Location Friendly staff

Review 30:No common area - entrance with restaurant not very practical & pleasant

Review 31:Confort and location

Review 32:Expensive.

Review 33:Wi-Fi, good restaurant, cleanness.

Review 34:Noise from the bin trucks very early in the morning

Review 35:Parking facilities very difficult to find in a busy town. Could have been a bit cleaner.

Review 36:The staff were extremely helpful. Location excellent, lots to do and see. Harbour views excellent, very popular throughout the day and night.comfortable room and very good breakfast, viennoiserie, bread, fresh fruit salad, juice coffee.superb building.

Review 37:High price of drinks but this is common in France. This applies to all drinks soft coffees if you want a cafe au lait and beers. Hotel is very busy at weekends and the restaurants are open till midnight but the noisy patrons are still around till 1 or 2 am. Not good if you need to sleep!

Review 38:The location and available restaurants belonging to the group, although they all sold similar dishes. Close to quay side and a short walk to the beach.

Review 39:Hotel has 6 garage boxes; don't bring anything else but a small, even tiny, car when you plan to use the garages... But on the other hand, the charge for its' use is extremely fair.

Review 40:Excellent staff deploying clearly a lot of teamwork. Everyone seemed to help one another and performed several different tasks. Very friendly staff too.The restaurant service is very efficient and the food was good.

Review 41:The reception desk is on the first floor and difficult to find. There are restaurants along the road in front and at the side of the hotel and it was impossible to sleep because of the noise. I wouldn't go there again.

Review 42:The room was a good size, comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom was modern with good facilities. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was quite good.

Review 43:Better soap.

Review 44:I loved the closeness of the busy restaurant, the constant bubble of energy. The continental breakfast was as good as The Deux Magots in Paris. The staff are very friendly and efficient.Pretty rooms with super comfy beds and pillows.

Review 45:An empty wine bottle was left in the balcony. also could have been nice to have had breakfast included in the deal.

Review 46:A great hotel, the ambience was very nice .

Review 47:We got double charged! We stayed only the night of the 29th of December - we came a day early and they said they had a room and not to worry and that we would only be charged for that night. We left the next day but we were charged for both the 29th and 30th. I emailed them on the 30th when I saw the charge go through, but they never responded. Can you help us? We loved the hotel, but certainly do not want to be double charged! Amy Brooks

Review 48:There wasn't anything that displeased us. The area was lovely, service was great and room was very clean and nicely furnished.

Review 49:The hotel was spotlessly clean and offered old fashioned service which was of the highest standard. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Review 50:Streets around at night may be noisy.

Review 51:The hotel comes with a huge brasserie serving delicious fish and seafood dishes until 23.00. Staff from the hotel very welcome and careful.

Review 52:The smell from the elevator. The fact that you have to pass almost through the restaurant to get to the front desk.

Review 53:Clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach.

Review 54:Due to its location in a busy part of town it was noisy on occasion due to traffic and night-life.

Review 55:It's a traditional, "one off" French brasserie and hotel. Lots of character, comfortable, but no air-con so it could be hot during a more normal summer.

Review 56:Breakfast was not worth the price. Coffee, juice, one croissant each, and some canned fruit salad. Get breakfast elsewhere.

Review 57:Location in Trouville was excellent...a short walk from the train station and close to all sights.

Review 58:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Central Hotel. Receptionist Marie-Laure was very welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay verymemorable. Ken & Yvonne Australia

Review 59:There is nothing I didn't like, but for those seeking quiet it isset in a busy spot and you may be woken early by deliveries and thesetting up of the fish & seafood stalls on the quayside.

Review 60:Excellent situation overlooking the port, very good restaurant(traditional French brasserie specialising in fish). Like thetraditional feel of the place.

Review 61:The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to everything in Trouville and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the evening around the hotel. We would definitely return this hotel for another stay!

Review 62:main door a little thin therefore quite some noise from the corridor and next room in the mornings.

Review 63:nice room

Review 64:Location and one of the best restaurants in town.

Review 65:Fishy smell due to restaurant but well... not a big issue :)

Review 66:Nice rooms, friendly staff, very good location (parking a bit difficult to access)

Review 67:The hotel is located in the busy heart of the city surrounded by many sidewalk cafes which make for a very noisy room.

Review 68:Central location. Good beds.

Review 69:Nice room, but small.

Review 70:Centrally located. Nice room. Friendly staff.
