Reviews for Chambres d'Hôtes Villa Heliotropes

Review 1:need to pay in cash

Review 2:Amazing Host couple. Set some coffee on the side for us and croissant when we woke up late and missed the breakfast (due to late wedding night). There was shoe polish in the room which is really a smart idea as many people come here to attend a wedding nearby

Review 3:Beautiful villa situated just up in the hills from where you can enjoy a beautiful view on the sea! It is just a few minutes drive from the beach. The owners are so nice and excellent and that was an extra that you don't expect!

Review 4:You can smoke in the room. But you smell it just in the staitcase.

Review 5:It was very comfortable, de staff or owner was realy friedly. Breakfast is together with the other guests on a big table. Really interesting but nothing for morning-grouche!

Review 6:Wifi intermittent. Couldn't get in until 6.00pm in evening.

Review 7:Very comfortable bed

Review 8:Privacy, tranquility, breakfast!

Review 9:Would recommend a hire car

Review 10:Nice B&Bin a quiet location .

Review 11:Everything. But the hospitality of the couple that ran the business was the most important. They made us feel very welcome and the house and rooms are beautiful.

Review 12:Booking confirmation stated that visa and mastercard were accepted by the hotel. This was not the case and, although a trip into town for some cash, solved the problem it was disappointing that incorrect information was provided to us.

Review 13:Very accommodating hosts who were only too pleased to fit in with our schedule and provide an early breakfast. The room was comfortable and the views lovely.

Review 14:Most eating establishments in Toulon close between lunch and dinner. We arrived to the harbor front hungry and unaware! This is nothing to do with the lovely Villa, however!

Review 15:Isabelle and Philippe were very gracious, and accommodated our travel schedule. The provided breakfast was plentiful and beds were comfortable! The bath in our suite was particularly nice and I made use of the oversized tub for a good soak. Although the weather was a bit cool and rainy, it did not hamper our enjoyment of the area. We spent one rainy morning in the comfort of our room, overlooking a lovely view and sipping tea. As it cleared, we walked down to the ferry and rode across to Toulon to spend the afternoon on the harbor front. We hope to visit Villa Heliotropes in fairer weather, perhaps in late spring!

Review 16:Nothing really, even the big dog was super nice

Review 17:The place looks wonderful - really nice with the swimming pool tucked away, view on the sea and the breakfast/dinner served under the gazebo on the terrasse. The hosts are really friendly, they gave us good advice on where to go and when we choosed to have diner there, the "apero" was a really nice moment before the nice diner. Our room was the Terre de Provence, it was really big with a really nice terrasse and super confortable.

Review 18:Pine trees over pool area.

Review 19:Lovely location only 10min from sea and beach. Very quiet and green surroundings. Rather small but nice pool and fantastic jacuzzi which was very welcome after long ride on the route du soleil. Beautiful rooms in romantic style and soft cosy beds. Another big plus the tasty breakfast on terrace with morning sun and sea view!

Review 20:if you don't want to drive the centre of town and the beach are a good 15 minute walk away, but it's still with beautiful views.

Review 21:The Hosts were lovely and even arranged a stunning evening meal for all of the guests. local cooking and good company. stunning views also from everywhere around the site, with breakfast on the veranda. peaceful and homely

Review 22:The walk up the hill to the villa!!

Review 23:The staff and family feel were fantastic - very welcoming and friendly. Delicious food. The accommodation itself was quintessentially French and very enjoyable. We stayed in 7 different hotels all over the south coast of France during this holiday and Villa Heliotropes was our favourite.

Review 24:Was a bit tricky to find - the GPS coordinates didn't seem to match the actual location. The smell of cigarettes whilst eating breakfast was a bit off putting.

Review 25:The view and the property itself looked amazing. The staff were friendly and the assisted with all queries.

Review 26:Nothing

Review 27:Restful, pretty location. Slightly quirky nature of the property.

Review 28:Not living up to booking com conditions

Review 29:Location is magnificent

Review 30:There is not one single bad thing I can say about it. Nice hosts, great atmosphere, beautiful villa!
