Reviews for F&G Logroño
Review 1:The location near the old city centre allowed you to walk without taxis, the accommodation is modern and very clean and the breakfast of good standard relation to the price paid, I would definitely recommend it.
Review 2:The location of the Hotel is perfect because is walking distance from the center of Logroño and very accesible by car. The staff was very kind and diligent, the Manager Daniel, personally offered us with great recomendations of places to visit near Logroño. The Hotel is clean, warming and confortable. The best of all, they serve breakfast until 11:00 and 11:30 in weekends.
Review 3:Breakfast was ok-nothing special. Underground carpark and car lift rather daunting-latter very tight for size. Not for the faint hearted driver
Review 4:location, rooms quiet, clean and comfortable. Asked for a high up room with view of river away from the lift and got all three.
Review 5:After travelling for 5 hours on our arrival we could not haveacup of coffee as the hotel was having anew coffee machine. We were given a map and told there were plenty of coffee shops and bars in the town
Review 6:The internet proceedure was more complex than it needed to be, and while not any more secure it is a pain for a traveller to have to go get a new code every day. This should be improved. The air conditioning wasn't working - we were told that it was just the switchover to the heat system but the result was a hot room for 4 nights.
Review 7:Lovely location, well kept property. The car elevator was interesting but just fine.
Review 8:Walking the camino this place is perfect. You just cross the river and the hotel is there and next morning, just continue the camino outside the door. Nice inside, modern with spa in the basement. Nice and quiet rooms
Review 9:No facilities available Sunday. No restaurant, no coffee shop after 3pm, no coffee making in the room, not even a glass of milk or wine when we arrived on our 39th wedding anniversary. On Tuesday all spa facilities shut. Expensive on site parking. Breakfast needs overhaul as confused presentation. Uncaring receptionist Sunday. No recommendations or advice where we could get some food.
Review 10:Fun design, nice room & bathroom & view.
Review 11:Parking is tight. We are not used to that in North America. They are parking magicians here...LOL.
Review 12:Perfect location. The staff was amazing. We ended up booking a second night once we were there. Great hotel!
Review 13:The bathroom was not ventilated well, the AC didn't cool, just blew warm air so it was too hot. We got a twin room even though we asked for a double room. It was "based on availability" but still, quite disappointing. No parking nearby, we had to walk 6 min with all the luggage.
Review 14:The front desk girl was very nice and helpful. There was a sauna, gym and a Jacuzzi which were very nice. The location is also good. Great price!
Review 15:The gym felt outdated and there was not much air circulation in the room (so it got very hot).
Review 16:Loved the breakfast buffet and how there were eggs served. Loved that there was a gym in the hotel. Loved the comfort of the room and how it felt modern and updated.
Review 17:The pillow is too soft and the car park is too narrow. Lucky the hotel staff is available to help us drive out of the car park.
Review 18:The room is clean and location is good.
Review 19:Wifi continually dropped out which meant going down to the front desk to get new codes. Most of the staff were good except for when we checked out - a man who did not seem happy to be there or serve me.
Review 20:Not far from the town centre. Parking - although a bit of a tight squeeze.
Review 21:Breakfast just OK, no espresso, limited fruit and other options. Need a new wifi password each day. Aircon a bit noisy. No restaurant in the evening, far from restaurants and bars
Review 22:Comfortable bed, fast wifi
Review 23:The car parking facilities are difficult to use unless driving a small car. An SUV has difficulty entering and leaving the very tight lift.
Review 24:The hotel is located on the borders of the very interesting old town. It features some unique designs, and is cleverly laid out. Being close to the river the room we had gave us a very relaxing outlook.
Review 25:The shower curtain smelled moldy and the room was sprayed or cleaned with a product that smelled bad in my opinion. The room was too small for two suitcases. Having to request a wifi pass every 24 hours was a waste of time.
Review 26:Told we could not park our motorbike outside and had to pay to park, however a Spanish motorbike arrived later and were allowed to park all there night!!! Had requested a river view room when we booked months in advance and were not given one. Toilets on ground floor were closed on Sunday evening. Receptionist arrogant and unhelpful. Hotel had no atmosphere despite beautiful building.
Review 27:Beautiful historic building. Comfortable room. Close to centre of town.
Review 28:All was fine
Review 29:Second stay here - first hotel as you enter Logrono from the Camino. Helpful staff, clean comfy rooms, few minutes walk to centre and right on route to pick up Camino again in the morning.
Review 30:WIFI dropped out a lot - but reconnected immediately.
Review 31:Bigger and a bit more luxurious than the other hotels we stayed at on our Camino trip. The breakfast was fantastic (buffet with everything you could think of) and very good value if you booked the evening before (6 euros).
Review 32:The family room was three " camp" style beds pushed side by side which was very cramped. Each device had to have a unique user name and password to access the Wi Fi and the continual need to enter these details was tiresome. The " car lift" in and out of the garage was a white knuckle ride.
Review 33:Stylish and comfortable hotel close to the old town in Logrono. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 34:The garage is a bit difficult to get out of.
Review 35:The hotel is very interesting, having the original town wall inside it and overlooking the River Ebro. It's near all the sites of the old town and the Portalis, and plenty of places to eat.
Review 36:The airconditioning on the top floor couldn't cope with the outside heat.
Review 37:It was a reasonable hotel for the price, very near the river. It was clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable.
Review 38:Expensive parking (underground garage not for the faint-hearted!). Ask for a room with a view. We looked straight at an office block.
Review 39:Very friendly & efficient staff. Comfortable room & excellent bathroom. Superb location near the shops, cathedral & tapas bars. Modern stylish design.
Review 40:There is no restaurant - as advertised when booking on Booking.com. Sono 'regional specialities' available! This is despite having arelatively comprehensive room service menu - did not try this so maybenon-existent since there is no restaurant other than for breakfast.
Review 41:Location city very accessible. On site parking (if entering and exitinggarage a little challenging!). Hotel looking rather jaded and in need ofsome attention in areas (E.G. dirty carpet in corridors)
Review 42:Nothing.
Review 43:The hotel is perfectly located for exploring and enjoying the old city centre of Logrono. We only had a one night stay as we travelled home to the Costa Blanca but we will be back to see more of the city.
Review 44:Noise. Because of the layout of the hotel with the open atrium, it was noisy at night when people returned from socialising. The garage which your car enters by a lift is a nightmare to get out of. fortunately we had a hotel worker in the garage when we were leaving and with his help we managed to avoid damaging our car.
Review 45:Location was great right on the edge of the old town and across from the Ebro.
Review 46:Location of hotel opposite the river and parkland yet only a 5 minute walk to the old centre and tapas bars etc. Modern, clean and comfortable with on site parking (at a price).
Review 47:Unfortunately the internet was not working properly while we were there. The staff was working to resolve the problem, but not in time for us to see the results. The bathroom was not the most comfortable. The shower was really dark, there should be a light inside it. There was very little counter or hanging space and there was no towel rack.
Review 48:Room was very large, everything was clean and it was an easy walk to the centre of town. It was also easy to reach by car.
Review 49:Convenient location & easy to find right on the Camino route. We particularly liked Gemma in the cafeteria who provided us with great entertainment over breakfast- she's a real addition to the staff!
Review 50:Poor mini-bar selection; towel rack so high difficult to get towels down; poor bathroom amenities; poor selection on restaurant menu.
Review 51:Cleanliness of room
Review 52:Right on the edge of the old town where you could be on the heart of the action within minutes. We had a view of the river and got to watch two stork nests with parents attending to their babies. The room was very comfortable and had everything we wanted. And their breakfast was the best with fresh fruit and all of the things to make anyone from any culture happy with it--for a low price. Highly recommend!!!
Review 53:It was scorching hot in my room because the AC wouldn't work during the time I was staying. I was told by staff it was because the weather was cool outside and if it was colder outside, than the AC wouldn't kick on. So I was told to open my door and they were right, the air was perfect and cooled my room down. However, I had to get up 4 - 5 times to open and close the door because of trucks driving down the alley and then a large group of men were yelling and cutting up outside. So I just closed the door and toughed out the heat. The WiFi would not work for me. And lastly, the first morning of my stay, I woke up to an awful and loud hammering. They decided to repair some floorboards in the hall right outside my door. It scared the heck out of me and continued for over an hour. So needless to say, I did not receive much sleep if any.
Review 54:I loved the staff. Very nice. Laura who worked in the cafeteria Rue Vieja (?) was just the sweetest. I like the location for the most part. The fact it had parking was very important because I had rented a car.
Review 55:The lay out of the hotel makes it echo and the noise travels into the room. The gym smelt like mould.
Review 56:The location was excellent, right on the Ebro River with beautiful views of the mountains, and close to the city centre. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff were helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Review 57:Very nice newer hotel. Excellent access to town. Eat in the bar in the morning. Much better value than breakfast in the hotel. Room was very clean and modern. Godd internet access.
Review 58:There is no mention in the hotel description that the hotel's underground car parking is accessed by a car lift and that cars which are larger-than-normal must travel to a safe municipal car-park some 5 minutes away.
Review 59:The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was perfect, in spite of the lack of diners. It was Monday night! And out of season! Attentive service and a good choice of dishes, with a good range of wines at attractive prices.
Review 60:The request for the hotel restaurant to provide an evening meal for 16, at relatively short notice (24hrs), was met with some reluctance by the management. This we suspect was due to inadequate staffing levels. However, whatever the problems were they were resolved and an excellent meal was provided from a limited menu.
Review 61:In particular, the staff and location..
Review 62:There is nothing about this hotel we did not like. It met our needs.
Review 63:On the whole our experience with the place, the staff was positive. The location was very good in terms of accessibility.
Review 64:Your parking skills will be tested with their underground parking Room a bit small and expensive for what it is (However we were their during the festival)
Review 65:Great location Nice lobby Clean good shower
Review 66:Parking not included and priced separately - €15 a night.
Review 67:Very close by city centre. Rooms were spacious, and very comfortable. Location was great. Would definitely recommend
Review 68:The squeeky toaster in the breakfast area needs to be greased.
Review 69:We very much enjoyed our stay. Clean, spaceous, friendly personal, great location, good breakfast. Nice wellness area with jacuzzi and sauna. The only downside was the noisy toaster in the breakfast area. It needs to be greased to get rid of the noise.
Review 70:It was very difficult getting out of the car park as our car is quite big, however a member of staff appeared and helped us as soon as we discovered this was a problem.
Review 71:We had a one night stay here to visit the famous Calle Laurel restaurants and we were very impressed with the place. Lovely bathroom and very comfy beds. It's in a good location, and wasn't too difficult to find using google maps. The parking was secure and big enough. We both slept very well and the reception staff speak very good English if you don't speak Spanish. Highly reccomended. We hope to return. ¡Muy bien estancia! Puedo recomendarlo. Muy tranquilo por la noche, con camas muy comodas, genial baño.
Review 72:Nothing really limited parking but local parking nearby.
Review 73:Good location Superb wine tasting offer with room which was a fantastic experience and great value.
Review 74:air conditioning not working on the first night, but was resolved the next day. Parking is challenging for larger cars, not recommended for the nervous driver! Gym facilities poor.
Review 75:staff, issues were resolved promptly and we were nicely compensated. Rooms basic but pleasant. Reception area smart and modern. About 10-15 minutes to the majority of tapas bars etc
Review 76:The car park was a nightmare to navigate in and out of with our large car as it was accessed by a lift. Only use it if you have a small car.
Review 77:Great location for visiting Logrono, only a few minutes walk into town. Modern, clean hotel with nice bar
Review 78:The car park is quite expensive and difficult to access and exit. Free parking a short walk away.
Review 79:Great location, the hotel was clean, modern and had everything you could want. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly.
Review 80:-Opening hours of the spa could be wider - Difficult to find a free parking spot near the hotel (to avoid the complicated hotel car park that you need to pay), but we finally managed to find a spot 200m away. - One pretty unwelcoming and unfriendly receptionist (the woman was very friendly though)
Review 81:- Good location to discover Logroño and to walk around along the river. - Good address for the wine cellar tour (Ontañon, we had the wine cellar package) - Room and breakfast were completely ok, but nothing special.
Review 82:confort camera, sauna in centro wellness

Review 87:Great location, good size and quite room.
Review 88:Friendly, helpful staff. Clean attractive well presented hotel.
Review 89:Very difficult access to expensive underground parking unless you have a very small car
Review 90:Nothing
Review 91:The style
Review 92:polite staff. good breakfast. i.e. good choice.
Review 93:Not much character to the rooms.
Review 94:Included breakfast of meats, cheese, breads and yogurt. Handy to have cafe within the hotel, especially on rain days.
Review 95:We were walking the Camino. It's located on the Camino which suited us for our early morning start.
Review 96:Location-a welcome sight after a long days walking!
Review 97:Good location. Silent rooms, despite nearby road. Seems renovated recently, modern appearance.
Review 98:Great place to stay in this fascinating city
Review 99:The room was dirty and needs to be refurbished.
Review 100:The ovation is pretty close to the city center.
Review 101:The view from my room was fantastic and I liked the old wall in the foyer.
Review 102:not much
Review 103:Price and location Great design incorporating an old wall Best place we stayed on holiday

Review 106:Lovation, free spa , friendliness of staff

Review 111:Parking on site is 15euro a night
Review 112:Nice clean and well equiped hotel
Review 113:Air con on before we checked in. Staff arranged parking in town hall at same rate as hotel.
Review 114:Staff were not very helpful, one felt that the guest was a nuisance.
