Reviews for Grand Hotel De L'europe

Review 1:In the 20 years that we have visited this hotel, not one euro has beenspent on maintaining the establishment. The whole place is run down andshoddy. We paid for a "superior room" which was small, withcheap furniture and old fashioned bathroom. Our private terrace hadcracked pavings and weeds and uncomfortable seating. The restaurantwhich we have eaten in several times over the years has nowdeteriorated. It is overrun with flies, both alive and dead. The menuhas a confusing layout and the food is not good. Despite the greatlocation and views, we will not stay here again.

Review 2:Central location. Great view from room and restaurant. Private parking

Review 3:I always enjoy staying at this hotel. It is simple but ideal for overnight stay when travelling to and from Spain/England. Parking is available just outside and the food in the restaurant is lovely.

Review 4:tired rooms, rather over priced, food also over priced and poor, best to eat elsewhere, that includes breakfast , no milk for cereals, cheese and meat seemed to have been left all night and was dry, only choice of jam was peach,. fruit bowl; very tired obviously sat there for a few days..

Review 5:hotel of character in a nice town but poor standard

Review 6:If you stay on the street side it is noisy but on Saturday the bar next door was noisy till 02.00!!!

Review 7:Convenient to town centre and ample free public parking

Review 8:This was a stopover en route to the South of France. Not far from motorway and perfect! The village was lovely as was the hotel. Fantastic views from the room and dining room. We booked the room with a terrace and the only disappointment was we were unable to use it because of the rain!

Review 9:All rooms need modernising. Very dated decor. Also service in the resturant was very slow. We waited nearly an hour between the main course and desert.

Review 24:The restaurant is one of the highlights of this hotel. Have stopped here many times just for the truffade and aligot

Review 25:The hospitality was very poor. The employees only speak Frenche and they didn' t do anything to try to understand us and ask us and themselves what we ment. Very bad experiance

Review 26:In the middleof the trip to Spain in a nice part of te region
