Reviews for Hôtel Le Fer à Cheval

Review 1:the breakfast was a bit sparse. though i have to say that homemade croissants were hard to resist (yum). was missing a fruit, more than one kind of cereal, and maybe a cold quiche (or something with a bit more protein). that said, i ate the breakfast two days in a row. good croissants, did i say that already?

Review 2:comfy bed, great location and really nice staff. i was visiting for work, and i camped out downstairs in the breakfast nook for days on my laptop. they even brought me coffee...

Review 3:This hotel is to be avoided at all costs. I have had a terribleexperience and am still trying to work out why I have had two differentamounts taken out of two different accounts. They told me at this hotelthey do this because someone tried to climb out of the window withoutpaying, but this is just not good enough! Their pre-authorization iscausing so much trouble at this hotel. I paid 700 euros for a week, theright amount on my Nat West card now Barclaycard are trying to find outwhy they are charging another 478.50 euros on their card too!!! Theiraccounting system is a mess!! Altogether they are wanting for a week1,158.50 euros!!!!!

Review 4:Food good, sleep quality good

Review 5:This is a lovely hotel run by a pair of charming sisters, who were extremely helpful to us. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are bright and airy with fantastically comfortable beds, powerful showers, soft towels and lovely balconies.

Review 12:All good except hotel lights outside on roof kept flickering all night (room 302) so had to wear eye mask.

Review 17:The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff is helpful, breakfasts very good. The hotel is located very close to the beach. There are many good restaurants close by. Free parking on nearby streets. Trouville is wonderful and we would recommend this hotel to friends!

Review 18:Some issues with the breakfast. Good croissants, but coffee tepid, and a fresh baguette or two would be nice. Better than average, though. Sitting on the loo was a bit tricky...

Review 19:Clean, comfortable, v. nice bi-lingual staff, good location (and if you're lucky, you can park in the street for nothing!).
