Review 1：Almost everything. This a tomb of a hotel. I have no problem with functional hotels, I stay in ibis and travel lodge type hotels a lot but I have a real problem with hotels that pretend to be something that they are not and charge accordingly. The problems were thus: Calling ahead to sort out parking, the staff were rude and unhelpful. The hotel failed to reply to out online requests and therefore didn't supply what we asked for. The room was small, airless and tatty - with blown bulbs and broken fittings. I wanted something special for the end of our holiday. When booking a place called the Beach hotel, I imagined a view of the beach, what we got was a view of a concete courtyard - with a balcony - what for!

Review 2：Very little - wifi was good

Review 3：A lot of dust and dirt in corners and under chairs etc. room not properly vacuumed. Breakfast room very disappointing considering the location. Breakfast overpriced at €15. I expected it to be €10.

Review 5：The bed was uncomfortable, 2 twin beds pushed together is not a double bed. The lack of airconditioning meant we had to choose between being incredibly hot in the room or having the noise from the street, port and seagulls. Even with the windows closed it's a noisy hotel. The bathroom was dirty and it seemed no one had ever cleaned behind the doors in the toilet room. The breakfast was poor quailty and the breakfast room was a mess. Almost impossible to find a clean table and just when we thought we'd found one and sat down to eat the nutella smeared along the edge of the table ended up all over my clean clothes.

Review 7：One of the main reasons for selecting this hotel was the pool. Upon arriving we found it did not open until 09.30. Putting chemicals in then. Really should not be opened 'til after 12.30. Rooms very small.

Review 9：The plug hole in the washbasin was ringed in brown dirt which I was able to dislodge by using an old toothbrush and toothpaste; it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned for a long time. There was dust and dirt underneath the vanity unit. There were several chips in the walls which could easily have been touched up but which gave the room a scruffy appearance. The room was equipped with paper picnic cups which did not sit well with its 4 star description. Tea and coffee bags were supplied for one night only, thereafter guests were invited to buy additional supplies!

Review 10：The hotel was ideally situated towards the mouth of the river with views of fishing boats arriving with their catch, plus views over the sandy beach out to sea. It was within very easy reach of the town and numerous restaurants. The breakfast was good.

Review 11：They overbooked the rooms, and what choked us mostly, is that the manager decided to change our room the 2nd day as we were supposed to stay 2 nights, without even telling us, they've been to our room, took all our luggages and even opened the safe where our passports and money and personal stuff were locked and put them in his office till we came back around 18h30. They said they had a better room for us, which was not true at all, we have booked a sea view room, and ended up with a room with a wall view instead... Never had such a bad treatment in a hotel, it's definitely not a 4 star one, we left the hotel instead of staying after a thousand excuses from the manager, but it was too late for that, and couldn't accept the idea of what they have done !!!!!

Review 13：Didn't like the swimming pool the roof iron construction looked worn out,rusty, not a nice thing to look at while relaxing in the pool,could do a bit of paint perhaps.also the car park main entrance is really narrow must be carefully with big cars,I did managed with bmw5 series but u could see marks on the walls that people have scratched their vehicles in the past.

Review 24：Dissapointing for a 4star Hotel. The underground car park is a nightmare and some lighting not working, the swimming pool is a disgrace with broken chairs and dirty changing room & toilet , the pool is not for adults and doesn't open until 11.00am. Breakfast tables lined up together like being at school.the bedroom en-suite separate toilet is a squeeze and lighting dim. glad to leave this place.

Review 25：Very basic room, badly planned, stubbed toes on door stop on more than one occasion. there are no public rooms, there is a bar, situated in reception area, but over priced and dismal. Wifi very slow and patchy in room,

Review 26：A comfortable bed with a sea view, a powerful shower, secure underground parking at 9 euros a day, (otherwise 10.50 euros in car park opposite - don't bother to ask for change from reception, you will be refused!) And do book parking in advance - weekends in season very busy, street parking nigh impossible

Review 27：The staff were ok the lock on the room was hard to operate would of caused problems with an elderly person the reception was ok but you cold be overlooked if they seemed busy and no acknowledgement was given to you quite rude really , the room was attended and beds made but the floor in 4 days was not cleaned the towelling was tatty and needed upgrading the bathroom was clean no air con , the room provided a coffee machine and 2 coffee sachets when we asked for more for morning coffee was told the hotel didn't provide these for free come on in a 4 star !!! Hotel it's shameful . The break fast was ok continental wise they did provide scrambled egg an bacon but was not made fresh for you . THe breads and croissant s were good , the hotel would of been a good 3 star but a poor 4 star for the money

Review 28：The location and hotel generally were good it was quiet and staff were ok it's rated as 4 star but we would give it a 3 star rating it was expensive really for what you got , but we would stay again if we were in the area

Review 29：It's not a hotel, it's a large average quality bed and breakfast. They were decidedly cool with us, we assumed because we were English, as clearly much friendlier with French residents. Even got ignored at reception in favour of French couple (who were quite embarrassed about it).

Review 33：We had booked parking view but our first room had no view at all as we were looking at a wall. We have imediately been given a different room from a very kind femaile receptionist. And had a amazing view, thank you! Unfortunately the room was not clean, the lampshades had without exaggerating an enormous amount if dust on it! I passed my hand and it all fell on the nespresso machine placed underneath.

Review 35：Room standard. When we arrived, 2 out of 4 lightbulbs were not working. The coffee maker leaked. Our first request to reception staff have these problems dealt with came to nothing. A second request, to the one member of the reception staff who showed an interest in their customers was dealt with promptly. Although we had a coffee making machine, stocks of coffee/tea were not replenished and we were told that that was an additional charge. We have never experienced this sort of penny pinching, even in supposedly lower standard hotels/guest houses. Generally, the hotel would benefit from refurbishment and modernisation Although good reception, Wi-Fi was not secure.

Review 47：Extremely warm room with no air condition. The breakfast room was to hot for eating. So prefered not to eat there. The receptionist was not helpful. No place to park. Were told by the staff we had to reserve parking in advance. Spent 40 min to find a free, public paying parking.

Review 51：View of the portacabin used by the builders on the noisy, extensive refurb of the building next door. We'd booked - and paid for a sea view and we got a portacabin view! The hotel hasn't got a restaurant, nor does it have a proper bar. The only amenity is the small indoor swimming pool. The 'bar' list was looked like a photocopy rather than a properly designed and printed piece. Not sure what qualifies this place as 4 star?

Review 101：This was sold to us as a 4 star hotel. It was not cheap. I am not sure it would qualify for 3 star. The room was cheap looking, there were marks on the wall , on the table top. The sink was grubby looking and there was black stuff around the bath. The coffee machine with paper cups was reminiscent of a motel 6.

Review 109：Upon the arrival, I thought the staff was not very friendly. There was some trash littering the entrance to the hotel which immediately created a bad impression. There is no parking which is very inconvenient.

Review 126：Indifferent quality of cooked egg and omlette at breakfast. Building tatty and in need of some tlc! Had a slight air of decay about it. Heater only just attached to wall in our room. Swimming pool unwelcoming. No sign of showers or changing rooms. Much of private car park unusable because of steep descent followed by sharp angle of incidence with lower floor. Only cars with little or no overhang at front would be able to use the lower level.
