Review 1：Very small shower, noisy "macerater" toilet system.
Review 2：400 year old historic home. Owners and staff very helpful and friendly. Small bath and shower but was ensuite. Food was delicious.
Review 3：2nd time I've stayed. Both times there was not hot water in the morning (it was stone cold), so I couldn't have a shower and had to boil the kettle to wash.

Review 12：Loved the friendliness of the staff, casual but efficient and great to deal with. Looked after my bike and loved having cyclists there - I wasn't the only one and it was only a Monday night! Felt very welcome indeed. Room was very comfy and warm, bathroom excellent and everything clean and tidy and decorated well. Evening meal I had there too and the rib eye steak was fantastic - even compared to steaks in the USA I have had! I would certainly go again.

Review 16：The food was excellent, the staff efficient, but easy going. Was a nice easy place to stay, would definitely stay there again. I had the room with the bath, a much needed bath! Lovely towels, good bedding - no complaints whatsoever.

Review 18：Room not serviced properly leaving us with only one hand towel. We dined in the first night and in our opinion food was poor and over priced. During our stay after being served with evening meal or breakfast did any one enquire if all was OK or need any further drinks etc.

The room was very well-furnished and the en-suite bathroom was modern and attractive. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent.
