Reviews for Hôtel Les Prateaux
Review 1:The grounds are a real mess ~ nothing is cared for with leaves and rubbish everywhere.. This could be such a good place. The lack of a swimming pool (for the price) makes it very expensive.
Review 2:Accommodation good although standard rooms are very small. Breakfast and evening meals excellent.
Review 3:Spiders in the room, more choice of breakfast meals could be provided
Review 4:Location, coffee machine in the house, small patio in front, possibility to rent a bike.
Review 5:Room was small and had light coloured multi stained dirty carpet. Astro turf instead of grass was horrible. Mattress way to soft, room dated and tired. Soundproofing non existent. Think buntlin's chalet.
Review 6:It was close to the beach a short walk via coded back gate along wooded path.
Review 7:Offered no set menu in the restaurant apart from one over 50 Euro's for lobster choice. Restaurant lacked ambience although the staff tried hard. Meal expensive and disappointing.

Review 12:The artificial grass lawn which just looks scruffy and dirty (needs a vacuum daily!).
Review 13:Very attentive staff, terrific dinners and the location was excellent. The room (not standard) was excellent. Hiring a bicycle is a great fun way to explore the island.

Review 16:WiFi only worked very intermitently in the bedroom.
Review 17:A lovely hotel situated very close to a super beach. No swimming pool or fitness facilities but otherwise a great place to stay. The bedrooms (superior) were large and extremely comfortable with all the necessary extras, that you often don't get in France. Restaurant very good but quite expensive
Review 18:Nothing
Review 19:Food was exceptional, staff were attentive and very friendly. Not being French speakers staff were happy to converse with us in English. The room was cleaned daily, beds were huge and extremely comfortable. The setting was lovely, hotel gardens amazing! Would highly recommend.

Review 44:Situation near beach with easy access. Liked arrangement of rooms round garden with french door from room opening onto private area with garden furniture allowing guests to sit outside room. Garden area well designed with wooden walkways to main hotel area & car park, no steps so good for people with disabilities. Meals exceptional with fresh produce beautifully presented. A calm and pleasant environment.
Review 45:Heavy August traffic into Noirmoutier and in town at certain times of day (but the hotel is a real haven)

Review 48:Its a haven of peace and tranquillity set in woodland yet within 100 metres or so of a splendid beach. The facilities are very smart and the food is exceptional with the freshest of fish and a wine list of well known wines as well as a very good selection from the Loire and Vendee. The staff throughout were brilliant and easily handled my limited language and all our queries.
Review 49:Room was large, but didn't have any comfortable seating. Room was a bit soulless Dinner and breakfast in the hotel were expensive. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, nor a fridge. Very slow and patchy wifi.
Review 50:Hotel was in a very quiet area. Hotel had two lovely beaches within walking distance Nicely organised grounds Lovely terrace with comfortable furniture
Review 51:The peace and quiet, plus the comfort of the room. And they accept a dog, with the benefit of excellent walking facilities for the dog (and us!) right outside the door. Would definitely go again.
