Reviews for Hotel Murrieta
Review 1:Cost of using their parking high in relation to cost of hotel (13€).
Review 2:Easy to find and in excellent location for exploring centre. Secure underground parking.
Review 3:Unfriendly staffs (or friendly to some people only) Lack of explanation about hotel facilities Old fashioned design overall
Review 4:Close to Bar street Supermarket is nearby
Review 5:One of our rooms had very little natural light!
Review 6:Nice hotel in great location, couple of minutes from square of streets for pinchos. Found some free parking less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean and had great showers. Staff were lovely!
Review 7:Room with a window that looks to the inside of the building to the micro-patio. Very bad.
Review 8:Location was very convenient for a Camino de Santiago pilgrim.
Review 9:Staff at front desk don't speak English nor do they say much!!!! My second or third visit and nothing has changed.
Review 10:Central location with underground parking!
Review 11:Underground parking available onsite but additional E13, non-reservable. Excellent location, a short walk away from pinxtos heaven. Dated but comfortable and served its purpose for a place to sleep, park our rental care and access the renowned pinxtos area.
Review 12:Receptionist/ manager was unhelpful. Actually we had to go to a nearby hotel to make arrangements for next day's event. Admittedly he did not speak English but he made no effort to understand my halting Spanish.
Review 13:Location was convenient for Camino
Review 14:Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly welcome. Clean room, great shower. Good breakfast. Secure parking for motorbike. Perfectly positioned to see logrono.
Review 15:The attitude of the Receptionist who didn't seem to like foreigners even though we speak Spanish.
Review 16:The central situation which is handy for visiting the Tapas Bars.
Review 17:We booked a double room, given a twin. Told by very grumpy staff that a double room meant two beds and that they didn't have double beds at the hotel. Website shows double beds. Staff unwilling to help or grant access to management.
Review 18:Good Towels
Review 19:Front desk staff were in unfriendly. They were not very helpful. The laundry service was very very expensive. They charged us more for the booking price for the second night.
Review 20:Location and the room.
Review 21:The room didn't look anything like the pictures, the walls were very scuffed and there was a panel missing in the cieling. The whole hotel is in desperate need of doing up and reminded of a hospital. It stood out compared to other hotels of similar categories we stayed in on the same trip.
Review 22:Location was good and the room was nice and big.
Review 23:Cleanliness could have been better, and shower was a little dark.
Review 24:Very friendly staff and reception. Breakfast good, very cheap parking in the near and city center and the Laurel streets are 2 minutes away, but in the night it is absolutely silent. Very good sleep.
Review 25:Fabulous big bed, clean crisp sheets. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Good location on the camino, close to old town and also modern shopping area.
Review 26:The staff at the reception doesn't speak English (although after the first degustation of wine it doesn't seem to be a serious problem, basic knowledge of Spanish is very helpful).
Review 27:The hotel is located right near historical center of Logrono - walking distance to all historical sights and couple steps to Tourist office (which is very helpful for tourists). Free Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Breakfast is reach enough. Cost/value ratio is very good.
Review 28:Staff unfriendly. No laundry service. Breakfast and diner times not pilgrim friendly. Both times later than most pilgrims want.
Review 29:The hotel is situated on the Camino.
Review 30:The air conditioning had not been turned on for the season and the weather was hot. We had to sleep with the windows open which let in a lot of noise and the room was still stifling hot for the 2 nights we were there
Review 31:the location
Review 32:The hotel does not have much character and looks very banal. All furnishings are a bit old fashioned and the corridor lighting could have been brighter. But then, if you are in the city just to see the sights and use the hotel room for sleeping in the night, this is a great place then.
Review 33:Staff was very helpful. Wifi was great. The location couldnt have been more ideal. Its right next to the tourist information center and the old town.
Review 34:Room not well isolated, breakfast and garage are not included in the room price
Review 35:Right to the city downtown, garage in the hotel, breakfast until 11am, hotel employees are very accommodating
Review 36:Location, ease of getting to and from motorway. We had an overnight stay before continuing journey to Bilbao for afternoon ferry sailing. Good basic hotel, clean and comfortable with secure parking (extra cost).
Review 37:We had to go on to France We would have loved to have stayed more time
Review 38:Very well situated with excellent staff and facilities A great area for bar restaurants with a wonderful selection of tapas

Review 40:Right in the centre of Logrono and close to the Camino Santiago. Terrific meal for 10 euros . Recommend and stay again when in the area. Lovely staff especially in bar and restaurant .
Review 41:Dated decor, staff i spoke to spoke very little english although being on reception. Lift a bit small
Review 42:Parking in garage, comfy beds, clean room. Breakfast was very good.
Review 43:No internet in rooms. Only in lobby. Parking was ridiculous. They didn't tell us it was 13e and it took literally 10 minutes or more to park as the garage is small with tight corners. Staff spoke very fast. Clearly I speak limited spanish but can get around. It would have been polite to take a little time to slow down. I contacted hotel about parking payment which came as a surprise and they never responded.
Review 44:Room was clean and comfortable with a good location.
Review 45:Breakfast service was a little slow even though the dining room wasn't busy. Room décor could be updated. No tea making facilities in the room.
Review 46:Price Location Overall value for money
Review 47:Clean and comfortable room, good heating, internet and breakfast.
Review 48:Dog friendly. Access to car park. Central location. Friendly staff.

Review 59:Helpful staff. Good secure parking. Easy walking distance to town. Very good menu.
Review 60:Great location.
Review 61:Surly staff, tiny room, very expensive.
Review 62:Unfriendly staff, as general for Logrono people overall, but at a hotel you have to smile and make guests feel welcome.
Review 63:Noisy
Review 64:Only one key for 2 people, lights only work with key, staff could have been a bit friendlier.
Review 65:Location, size of room, very clean
Review 66:Excellent location.

Review 94:nothing
Review 95:close to old town
Review 96:Everything!!!!!
Review 97:During 9 days spent in Spain, I haven't met somebody more rude than the clerk from hotel Murrieta.
Review 98:Everything was ok with this hotel. In addition, we the personnel was very helpful and gave useful advice on how to find places in Logrono.
Review 99:Good hotel on top location of fine Rioja city
Review 100:No wifi in bedroom.
Review 101:It was comfortable and central.
Review 102:Great location. Helpful and pleasant staff. Right on the Camino and in the centre of a lovely city.
Review 103:Steep angled ramp into underground car park caused vehicle to bottom out, so had to resort to using nearby public underground car park at additional cost.
Review 104:Proximity to city centre and main attractions.
Review 105:The air condition was off and we were told to open the window if we wanted the room cooler. Very noisy location if you have the window open.
Review 106:It was an ok location as far as access.
Review 107:The hotel was old and shabby---not at the three star level. The reception staff was indifferent. It was expensive relative to its quality
Review 108:The location, next to the old city on on the Camino de Santiago was excellent.
Review 109:This is not a Pilgrim friendly hotel. Fine for business. No laundry facilities, did not seem aware of Jacotrans. They advertise AC but we moved rooms and it did not work in either. Restaurant is not welcoming. Caters to large groups of older tourists
Review 110:Location right on the camino out of town.
Review 111:Didn't get a very friendly or warm welcome from male receptionist.Admittedly,we looked a bit bedraggled after enduring an hour of wind& rain on our Camino walk but surely that is all the more reason whywe should have been greeted warmly! Not very helpful either.
Review 112:Very good location for Camino walkers. Very comfortable, clean hotel.
Review 113:The reception staff were more like warders, very unfriendly anduninviting. Apart from a complementary bottle of wine, the room lackedany redeeming features. The furniture looked as if it had been made fromstrengthened cardboard. The bed was soft and unsupportive and even had aplastic undersheet which sounded each time you moved. There was noinformation in the room about what the hotel offered or indeed about thearea. We were glad to leave.
Review 114:The hotel was handily placed for the centre of Logrono.
Review 115:Nothing :)
Review 116:Really friendly reception staff. We were given a map on arrival &told where all the restaurants, tapas bars were, all of which were verygood! There was also a nice gesture of a bottle of wine waiting in ourroom on arrival.
