Reviews for The Bridge Of Lochay Hotel

Review 1:Have stayed here before with husband and our dog. 3rd time here now. Loved the hotel, owners and staff lovely. Food is amazing. Dog friendly. Such a lovely welcome on arrival. Will be back this year and hopefully be able to make the Hogmanay party also.

Review 2:Nothing was bad, only the TVwas a bit small to watch comfortably

Review 3:The comfort, also the temp. Was just perfect. But the food was superb. People were always very accommodating .

Review 4:So good the first time I went back within a week! Nice personal touches that the owners remembered me, and were even happy to keep my route card for me while I went off up some snowy Munros solo!

Review 5:Amazing location for hiking and sightseeing. Fantastic quality and choice of food in the bar/restaurant along with decent beers and a selection of whiskies. Staff were friendly and really helpful

Review 6:Everything!! Becky was brilliant! Bob was very pleasant and helpful! And Amanda's breakfast was spot on!! The hotel was very comfortable and inviting and our room has the most amazing view of the river and the bridge. The food was of good quality and very tasty. Cannot fault the hotel, the owners and staff during our stay there. It was home away from home. Thank you very much and we would definitely come back if we are around the area.

Review 7:Going home!

Review 8:The staff were excellent, friendly and really accomodating. The hotel itself is a lovely little place and the view from our room was amazing (we stayed in room 5, overlooking the river)

Review 9:The only criticism would be the value for money in the restaurant. Personally never been a fan of 'poncy piled up food' - just stick to traditional fare!!

Review 10:Location, and view from the room overlooking the river. Very friendly staff.

Review 11:A bit far to walk to the village centre.

Review 12:Cosy and comfortable. Excellent evening meal and loved the breakfast. We tried some of the cocktails in the little bar which were delicious. Our room overlooked the River Lochay and it was lovely to leave the window open overnight and allow the sound of the flowing river to lull us to sleep.

Review 13:Real only downside was there was no wifi in the bedrooms but if required it was in the lounge

Review 14:Staff were friendly, food was excellent, and room was very comfortable

Review 15:This is located in a nice quiet part of the town but still close enough that you can walk right into the centre in less than 10 mins. Lovely staff and a wonderful place to rest and wind down.

Review 16:Staff were very helpful as I was attending a function in the village and had to arrive early .My room was made available for me earlier than indicated on my booking advice.

Review 17:Warm welcome, the staff and owners are very friendly. Interesting building with nice rooms. The food is excellent, well cooked and presented using local produce.

Review 18:We stayed here as a group of cyclists and were really well looked after. The rooms are great, breakfast is very good and the food is great quality. Really good value for money

Review 19:Rooms were rather dated, but hey, this is an old building (1765) and you don't expect ultra-modern facilities.

Review 20:Friendly attitude of owners and staff throughout our stay. Stunning location near Loch Tay.

Review 21:The owner and staff all seemed genuinely pleased to see us and to make us welcome, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Excellent coffee and freshly cooked breakfast. Good dinner/supper menu.

Review 22:The bed squeaked and the cooked breakfast was not so great (aside from the fact that there were no veggie sausages).

Review 23:Room was spacious and staff were very friendly.

Review 24:The fact that the bar area wasn't separate and had been turned into part of the eating area and wasn't very comfortable

Review 25:The peace and quiet of the hotel, although as it wasn't busy it was like a ghost hotel

Review 26:Bedroom was very hot despite turning radiator down to frost we were unable to open two of the windows and the other we had to jam open with a spoon. However when we mentioned temperature to owner he did apologise & explained that new radiators were going to be fitted

Review 27:Welcoming hosts & excellent food, wonderful location on edge of village next to the river
