Review 1：When we arrived at the hotel, the concierge boys didn't act as they should with our luggage, so we carry them by ourselves till the reception area but fortunately the receptionist was behaving like she should and tell us to leave our luggage so the concierges could bring it up

Review 6：Where to start, the location is stunning with views across the valley and to the sea. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food is outstanding.
Review 7：a bit far from Grasse, if you want some shopping or visiting perfumery factories. there was a tiny fitness room, but only a few training apparatus which were rust eaten, but still working though)
Review 8：it was quiet and peaceful, gorgeous Michelin restaurant (the chef personally greeted his guests duringdinner), perfect service during dinners, nice garden and jacuzzi with valleys and mountains view right on the open air! I noticed people who just came to have dinner at the restaurant, not to stay! A small swimming pool which was not taken care of (tree leaves on the water, etc), but jakuzzi was covered thus the water was clean there. we liked a lot! thanks!
Review 9：We didn't realise how expensive the food and wine would be. We found a lovely restaurant in Grasse, La Voute, and had two wonderful meals both of which cost for two the same as one course for one person at the Hotel. Gourmet food is all very well but not at that price.

Review 11：The rooms are not inexpensive, and breakfast is not included. The wifi signal is weak throughout the property. Given the lack of activities to do around the property, it would be great to have a list of suggested day trips handy.
Review 12：The real reason to come to Bastide is for the food - Chef Chibois has created an amazing menu, especially the lunch where you get to choose from a prix fixe list of 3 courses - we were delighted every time. We stayed for 2 nights off season in October, and with great weather we got to enjoy walks through the lovely gardens several times. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Review 30：I don't think that it should be a 5-star hotel. The rooms are nothing special, the ac barely worked and it was not at the level of other relais and chateaux properties I have stayed at in the past.

As hotelguests you really are insignificant in comparison to the restaurantsguests, even if you eat in the restaurant and stay in one of the mostexpensive suites. What disappointed me most about the service was beingtold by the cleaner that either she be able to clean our room whilst weate lunch on our terrace at around 2pm or we would not be able to haveour room cleaned at all. This was despite the fact that we had been outof our room for the most of the morning and she had ample time withinwhich to clean it. That kind of ultimatum is not what we expect from ahotel with a 5 star rating.
