Reviews for Résidence Le Virginia
Review 1:Pool was cold. Parking was expensive at the nearby car park and only a few places outside the hotel. The staff did help though re advising us of free parking down at the railway station
Review 2:Value for money. Availability of a pool after busy days sightseeing in the heat. Staff very helpful.
Review 3:Free Wi-Fi has very bad signal. If you need internet connection, and you don't have it on your mobile phone it's a problem for you. If you don't need it and you are here just for vacation this hotel can be a good choice.
Review 4:Extreme poor quality of hotel wi-fi (sic!!!!), lack of parking belongedto hotel (sic!!!!) - although there is a garage close to premises, pretty hard to drive to hotel, you need to bring your own linens with(sic!!!!) - otherwise you'll be charged !!!
Review 5:Well equipped kitchen, good beds
Review 6:The tiny child size beds. Bed side lamps with no power points to be plugged in to. The reception that is rarely open so you better know your arrival time in advance. The bland rooms.
Review 7:The friendly girl at check in but when a tired guest just wants to get their key, please understand that they just want their room key and give it to them. Don't continue with the whole tour of town spiel.
Review 8:A small river makes it too Noisy in winter to stay on the patio. No micro wave and carpet on the floor everywhere. Maybe a bit too low in winter to allow long sunbathes.
Review 9:A very friendly staff able to give you tons of great advices to turn your holidays into a success story. Clean and fine rooms and an ideal location to drive around.
Review 10:Welcome is precise (almost perfect) but it seems too much information in a very short lapse of time, not much in agreement with travellers' needs after reaching the place. It's been very difficult to find (someone down the town has been so kind to guide us there - navigation system could not position the address).
Review 11:The résidence la virginia is at a walk distance from the old town, very nice walk indeed. Room is ok, bathroom and toilet very well.
Review 12:Rooms are quite small. wifi is not always working, additional price for parking 35 euros per week but the parking is safe and nearby.
Review 13:Friendly pesonell, good price, neat room.
Review 14:Power cut for 2 days so far no refund received. WiFi non-existent in room despite listed as available, 80s decor & furnishing with zero comfort level. Reception only open a few hours per day. Properly badly in need of a make-over.
Review 15:Helpful Staff
Review 16:No cleanining carried out in our room during our 4 day stay;No braekfast facility contrary to offer;Reception usually closed and no one available for any assistance
Review 17:Clean well appointed rooms with good hot showers and onsite parking.
Review 18:No parking.
Review 19:Friendly staff at reception
Review 20:Friendly and very helpful staff.
Review 21:The pool was nice and the bed was comfortable
Review 22:Received a warm welcome and introduction to the city on arrival. We were upgraded to a larger apartment. Overall a really good stay.
Review 23:The welcome by the staff and friendly help.
Review 24:No reception facility 24/7. Parking virtually lacking.
Review 25:Value for money. View.
Review 26:No washing up liquid , no scourer, dish-cloth , tea towel- we didn't want to buy these items as we were staying for just 2 nights!
Review 27:Location, our terrace, swimming pool, bathroom were all excellent.
Review 28:No restaurants in the area, just kebab shops. The only restaurant is town (which was open in May) was fully booked.
Review 29:Free parking on site (on Saturday nights only), however there is also a secured parking lot in the near.
Review 30:Below old town, which is very steep - but there's a good bus route nearby, and if you're fit and without your own transport you'll enjoy the walking.
Review 31:Very friendly, excellent for independent travellers who aren't looking for conventional hotel facilities (meals etc.). Lovely views, from our flat at least.
Review 32:Beware the reception is only open from 16:00 - 19:00 and there is no staff onsite outside of these hours. Entering the building requires a code you get when checking in. The rooms are very comfortable, but perhaps not quite as soundproof as we might have liked. We could hear murmurs of some other guests at one point, but it was not unreasonably obtrusive.
Review 33:Room was comfortable and very clean. Excellent value for money.
Review 34:No free parking unless you managed to get one of the 5 or 6 spaces provided. This and the previous stay there was no washing up liquid in the kitchenette!
Review 35:Location. Simplicity. Friendly and efficient staff.
Review 36:parking @ extra cost.(no big deal). No liquid detergent for dish washing & no towels for drying dishes & glasses. (we could have brought our own if we knew none was provided (but no big deal)
Review 37:Friendly welcome from Ophelia and the manager; Location; modern; cost.
Review 38:Nothing, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am going back in february!
Review 39:The hotel is only about a 5 minute cab ride to anywhere in the city ofGrasse or a 20 minute walk to the center of town. It is also only abouta 10 minute walk to the train station or a quick cab ride to the busstation if you want to go to Cannes, Nice, or beyond. I was visiting mygirlfriend who is working in Grasse for several months and it was veryclose to where she works so it was great location for us and veryeconomical especially for the length of my stay. It is also up a waysinto the hills so you get a great view of Grasse and beyond if you areon a higher floor. They also have a bilingual staff which helps a lotsince I am just learning french and not very good with it yet.
Review 40:The break-first is typical french style(crossaint, bakette) and so simple.I traveled many french city area hotels but I don"t recommend another traveller French style break-first. This hotel style is for only longest stay with whole food stuff. That will be perfect...
Review 41:it is only location to reach Grasse area and plus Nice, Cannes.
Review 42:Internet was ON and OFF all the time. Should have a better router or signal on the 4th floor.
Review 43:Very friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious one bedroom apartment.
Review 44:The booking clearly stated on site parking. In reality it was an adjacent public car park. Not the same hing and mis leading
Review 45:Check-in desk only manned for limited times.
Review 46:Kitchenette. Balcony view.
Review 47:No washing liquid for the kitchen sink!
Review 48:Always nice staff, very helpful, and knowledgeable.
Review 49:GPS couldn't find the place, which was very frustrating.
Review 50:Parking
Review 51:Price, size and amenities
Review 52:Grasse itself.
Review 53:The size and spec of the rooms are good.
Review 54:Too far from the center of Grasse
Review 55:Value for money
Review 56:The place is well located within short driving distance from tourist attractions. Clean and comfortable. Staff needs to improve customer relations.
Review 57:Door lock cards
Review 58:Views
Review 59:man knocking on our dooor at 10:50am saying we had to check out immediately. off-putting.
Review 60:clean, comfortable rooms.
